Great experience!! Super cool cozy and eclectic coffee shop. I LOVED the rocket fuel reminded me of a local blue bottle coffee. Very good

First time trying this place and from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming.....perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. The coffee was rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The baristas are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about making every drink with love. I also appreciate the little details... like the cozy seating, and the great playlist that sets the mood just right. If you're a coffee lover looking for quality, good vibes, and a place that feels like a second home, Sweet Leaf is definitely worth the visit. Can't wait to come back!

Sweetleaf coffee in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is one of several locations of an independently owned local business. They roast their own beans at a separate location, in Long Island City, which you can buy at any location or even order online to brew at home As you can see from the many pictures posted here, it is a spacious setting with a comfortable hipster ambiance and outdoor seating as well. Thus is a very popular place with plenty of bandwidth to work on your laptop while enjoying their food and drinks. Menu is hipster healthy with plenty of gluten and GMO free options. Their breakfast egg sandwich is my favorite. Service is always good with attentive friendly staff. In fact they are sweetleafs best.

I found this hidden gem in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I was surprised to see so many options for drinks besides coffee and they had breakfast food and pastries on the menu and also more savory things like the chicken quesadilla I ordered. The food was really good, and affordable. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions about the menu items. The atmosphere was really cool too, there's plenty of seating with two different kind of areas that you just want to look around and point out the quirky things around you that the cafe decorates with. I even enjoyed the music they were playing and found myself on Shazam getting the names of a couple of songs... one being some kind of throat singing which I thought was so different to here in a cafe! Finally something besides elevator music! Greenpoint as a neighborhood is also just a fun spot to walk around and check out little shot and spots as well. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to Sweetleaf soon!

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum, villainy and LAPTOPS! Minus the scum and villainy. This coffeeshop is straight out of central casting for 'hipster cafe's and that's great if it's what you are seeking. Excellent coffee Eclectic mix of music Friendly, staff, artfully adorned with tattoos, chic boho clothing, etc. Bagels/pastry/sandwiches Decent prices And LAPTOPS everywhere with nary a book to be seen

Cute spot to do some work and support a small local business! Ample seating inside and there's also a patio. Very warm and friendly service. The avocado toast did take a while to be ready, just a head's up.

It's a local favorite for coffee - they have a steady line of regular patrons daily. You can usually see people sitting on their laptops outside with their dogs, or sitting inside. Their voodoo child and rocket fuel is addicting - must have! Their food and pastries are usually a miss - would just avoid it and get a BEC at a deli nearby.

Pretty decent coffee spot. If you're craving sweet tooth type of craving, go for the voodoo child.

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

You've really went downhill. Everything is dreadfully smaller for the same price. You used to have a giant fluffy egg square on your breakfast sandwich and now I've gotten one lumpy small egg drenched in so much overly spicy sauce - that used to be more soft and palatable, I can't even taste anything else, to compensate for the lack of sandwich for over $12. Insane. The fries were the highlight of my meal and that's really saying a lot. $6.50 for one of the smallest iced coffees I've ever received... I think you're staying open on highway robbery alone. Or that the gentrifiers just don't give a damn. Honestly, I could've gotten something better at the Bodega for less than $35 after the Uber fees. I feel bad leaving this honestly, but... how you go from such a wonderfully established place to some dreadful experience is just sad. Do better, become yourself again, because unfortunately I won't be ordering anymore.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
