Had to sit and wait, and I am happy they were willing to fit me in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone looking for their regular nail salon in Hollywood

I was given the wrong colour. I asked for #6 which she confirmed. As soon as it started going on I flagged that it wasn't right but was told it would match that colour by the time the treatment was finished. It didn't. Spent $52 on a colour I didn't want.

That's more than double what's listed on their website, which clearly says $32. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would've preferred they just told me they couldn't take me, rather than try to overcharge me like that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a definite no for this location. Disappointing experience.

I almost always write 5 Star, yelp previews, the caution beware, do not go here. I honestly debated whether I was gonna write this review because these are hard-working women, but they royally screwed up and I've been living in pain for two months. Initially, I was excited to find this place in West Hollywood for a fair price, but too many people go here. The nail techs are very sweet, but one of them was unnecessarily aggressive with my toes, causing them to bleed during the pedicure, and trapping blood under the toenail ever since. I got a mani pedi right before Mardi Gras in February, and the manicure chipped 2 days later. It got worse by the day and was just disgraceful after five days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It took me four times to call and request a refund, many back-and-forth text messages which resulted in the nail tech thinking I was trying to scam her before finally refunding a fraction of the cost.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Y'all got the wrong focus in your hustle. You need higher sanitation practices and training that's delicate & does not cause bleeding. I'm going to have to go to the doctor for this, and I want a full refund on the pedicure. Worse nail job ever. Detrimental truthfully. Stay away from this place read more

I wanted to like this place, because it's close but my experience fell short. My manicure felt rushed, and my pedicure didn't receive the attention or care I've come to expect from a quality nail spa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one of the rare nail salons that she's actually not totally rude-Unlike all the others that I deal with on a regular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But she doesn't take credit cards insists that you not put a note in Venmo or Zelle and wants you to only pay cash. She up charges and adds services without telling you and then shames you outloud if you don't leave additional additional tip for her even though she's the owner and after she has added seven to $15 of services you thought were included when she upsold you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that, she's not totally rude.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just don't like the upselling, changing in price and being almost forced to pay. read more

No no no! Avoid! My poor cuticles are sore and bleeding after multiple hand washes. I have dark lines in my polish that she claimed she couldn't see. The 3 stars are for my decent pedicure that was $38 which is around what I normally pay but $60 for a dip manicure of this quality is bogus! Was in pain during my manicure the whole time sawed off any real nails I had and my cuticles got torn up with it. read more

I've been to this nail place twice and have bad experiences both times. Terrible service! I asked for my toe nails to be cut really short because they grow really fast and apparently they charge $3 more to cut your nails and they still wouldn't go as short as I wanted. No where on any of their price listings does it mention it's $3 more for nail cutting, which would bring a simple color change from $15 to $18. They were rude the entire time. The only reason I came back after my first bad experience was because it's the closest to me and I thought surely that was just an off day, but nope! They're just terrible. I won't be back. read more

Ok so I just moved here and I've been struggling to find a good nail salon. I will say, I have high expectations. It's 5pm and I have somewhere to be in the morning so really pressed for time. I go here, immediately I know I won't like it unfortunately because of the selection of nail polish brands. (No gel brand, Essie, zoya, little opi, and a bunch of random brands I never heard of but appear to be cheap). I asked the nail tech for French with different colors on my hands and it seemed to be a problem so I said never mind I'll just choose a color. She obviously said something rude about me in her language. I don't love the way she removed my gel and overall felt rushed and not valued as a customer. My nails aren't terrible - but the customer service is. Very poor customer service. Cash only. I only had my credit card. She told me cash only but then someone said I could Zelle, I did and I went to give the nail tech the cash I had for tip. She didn't say thank you, instead her and the other woman who mentioned Zelle, yelled and said I can't leave until they confirm payment. I showed her it was paid. Literally a second after, they received payment. Still no thank you lol Never again read more

Had the most amazing experience at Sweetley Nails! I went in for a pedicure to get ready for my wedding and brought my sister (Maid of Honor) with me to get one done as well. The women that did our pedicures were so nice! My sister convinced me to get acrylic nails so I did and MY GOODNESS!!!! Ana is fast and extremely precise! I ended up with the prettiest wedding last nails; I couldn't be happier. Thank you everyone at Sweetley Nails! I'll be coming back soon. read more

Found this place from a random TikTok video recommendation and they are amazing. I've gone twice now for an acrylic set and have been seen by Amy who pays so much attention to detail and both sets by her have been 10/10! I've gotten so many compliments on my nails the past month of going there. Prices are better than anywhere else in LA. Definitely recommend!! read more

the wait was very long. i waited 45 mins without an appointment and there was a girl that was also waiting for an hour even though she had an appointment. i got a pedicure and i would rate it 1/5 stars. The lady used a dirty towel for my feet that had nail polish on it. i didn't see her open new or clean tools. she also did a callus remover on my feet but they still feel the exact same as before. a different lady did my full set and i rate her 4/5 she was really sweet and helped me pick my nail color. because of my pedicure experience i won't be coming back. read more

What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. She did not bother to introduce herself kindly or interact with me in any kind of way. She seemed very annoyed. She didn't care to make me feel welcomed or comfortable in such an intimate service. During the service I expressed to her that she was going too fast for me as I was in extreme pain from the way she was applying the sugar on my skin to the yanking of the hair. She stated that it was because I was on my cycle and because my hair was extremely long, now I understand it was long but like I said im not a newby to the pain of a Brazilian. She could've responded in a more understanding way. It just was not a pleasant experience for me from the moment she came out to get me from the lobby because of the customer service. I don't know if I got her on a bad day, but I wouldn't want any girl to experience the treatment that I did today. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

this place rawks! it is in a corner little retail plaza and nothing fancy but door is kept locked and only customers allowed in; I just moved here and had a TOP NOTCH salon I went to in Newport Beach...I only go to the BEST!!! Okay so I only really went here because I was waiting the usual "forever" on my prescription at walgreens across the street. and the sign said 22.95 mani-pedi. I was like okay ill see what happens. If you read the fine print it says Mon-Wed Only. So i was a little surprised when I rang up for 26. The ladies were friendly, but I almost felt like they were talking about me in whatever language they speak I couldn't understand. The lady doing my pedicure didnt say 2 words to me. If your black don't go here, you'll have to pay first before they do anything. Mean while the Latina white Asian and Arab women sit there pretty until done and then pay. They do a good job, but if you get one of the racist nail techs good luck with the nail polish staying on. The owner is wonderful, but two of the nail techs are very racist, not all of them. Almost everyone one there was uncomfortable when they heard her say that because Los Angeles is a progressive state so most non black people aren't ok with it. read more

I came in for a fill and when removing a nail that was falling off the nail tech took off half of my natural nail and told me that she would just put a tip on top of it even though it hurt. I told her no and she insisted that I continue with the fill - instead I had her just remove all of the nails because I wasn't going to put a tip on half a nail and let it get infected underneath.
