We absolutely love this place! Wonderful flavors of cookies and various other sweet treats. The macaroons are just gorgeous and so light and perfectly made. The rice cereal treats are next level amazing--very fluffy and just the right balance of marshmallow, butter, and cereal. Always fresh! Their brownies--hands down my husband's favorite thing. Vanessa (the owner) has been making custom orders out of her home for years and recently took the plunge in opening a local storefront. Those of us who have been customers for a few years have already gained many pounds since SCC opened! Every day is a new adventure with a special selection of freshly made cookies. To date, there's been: Nutella, Deep Dish Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Key Lime, Stuffed Oreo, Stuffed S'Mores, Cinnamon Roll, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Raspberry Lime, Pumpkin with Cream Cheese frosting, Fruity Pebbles and of course her famous sugar cookies. There's also a large variety of Macarons, cake pops, ice cream and cold brew! On Saturdays soon, will be homemade cinnamon rolls! The cold brew is from a local St. Charles business called Coroco Coffee. Pretty much everything at Sweetness is under $5, and the service is fantastic! She also still makes custom orders. We had been excited to try this place but we're so disappointed! We got the deep dish chocolate chip and the stuffed key lime & Twix cookies. None of them were good. The deep dish had virtually no chocolate chips in it- it's basically a shortbread cookie topped with chips. The shortbread itself isn't even good in our opinion... it's very dry and not sweet at all which is weird since it's a cookie. The Twix has a tiny piece of Twix inside of it- hardly a stuffed cookie. Similar to the macarons we tried they didn't have nearly enough filling to justify a "stuffed" name or a high price tag of $4.50/cookie. Significantly worse than crumbl which sucks cause we love small businesses. Coulda been a bad day but we are hesitant to try again read more
