There were 22 cats on the day we visited. There were no snacks available - which are advertised to be included with the picnic - but we were okay with the sandwiches we brought from home. The space is clean and cozy. It seemed like there were cats in every crack and crevice. The cats seem relaxed and happy. It's been less than a week and already three of them are asking when they can go again.

I like this model for cats to live in temporarily and then get adopted into a regular home. I honestly feel bad for the resident cats and wonder if all these new people all the time overwhelms them. I wish there was another room only they could go to when they want to. I wouldn't mind this type of set up at all. Overall, I still enjoyed the experience I just hope the set up is in the best interest of the animals especially the residents that live there. Honestly, if I were to find another similar cafe with a lot more room for the cats (and people) and a setup where they could leave the room to relax I'd probably go there instead. And I love Spenceresque type of stores (If you didn't grow up with a Spencer's- think jokey/quirky items, funny socks, etc...) But we really came for the ice cream. The Candy Dandy was enough for 3 people (although my 3 year old totally thought it was all for him!) The 2 liter Gigantic green water bottles were attempting to take the place of center pieces, but you can't lift them (4.4Lbs) safely. I worked in a few HIGH Level Restaurants as the maitre D'. I always catered to the customer's needs. AS for Bandaloop; With improved customer service that does not take a "guarded attitude", it would be a more gracious place. I was not attacking anyone. I mentioned that a 2 liter bottle cannot be picked up and poured with ease. "It's a new thing changed by the manager."--------- It was not well thought out. Try to pour a 2 liter bottle of wine or water with one hand. We also had to use another napkin as a placemat. What is on those tables? Bee's Wax? Use some Dawn soap.
