The subs were really good and the sandwiches and the gelato and the latte freeze, which is two shots of espresso, made with ice cream, whipped cream, and you can choose lots of different flavors. you are able to sit down there are a few tables you can people watch because you can see out the windows. read more

We came here after spending a few hours at Palace Playland. We were looking for a quality dinner and the pickings felt slim. This place serves literally everything, which feels a bit confusing and even alarming. They are kid friendly and have high chairs, which is great. The cons are you feel like you're sitting in a convenience store if you eat there and everything feels sort of grubby. We've been here twice, once for gelato (huge, fully packed servings) and once for dinner (wraps, salad & a meatball parm sandwich). Excellent food both times. My only issue was I didn't realize how spicy the peanut dressing in the Asian west wrap was going to be (I think it needs a warning). We stayed close to the cafe and found ourselves here a few times during our visit to OOB. Service was friendly and Prompt especially given how busy they are and the shortage of staff due to COVID. Everything was delicious from the coffee, to the panini breakfast sandwiches , to the chick parm and meatball subs to the BLT. The only thing we didn't try was the gelato. This place has a great location. It seems clean and has an extensive selection of food items. Unfortunately their gelato is not great quality. Flavors are weak and texture is poor due to not being held at the right temperature and not serving it properly. Gelato is an art and theirs just doesn't stand up. They should look into having Coppa Magica gelato brought in. read more

Better late than never. Went here over the summer and loved it. They have good real food if you're looking for something NOT FRIED. Yummy salad, backed haddock and rice, loads of desserts to pick from. Small tables but perfect to sit and eat a meal inside. Nothing fancy but I really liked it and will be back. The most tasteless eggs on toast I've ever had... ordered scrambled and got an omelette and toast which were store bought bread not homemade were full of butter. The coffee wasn't even good. We stopped in this morning looking for a coffee and a bagel sandwich. My boyfriend's iced coffee was just meh and the bagel sandwich left a lot to be desired. The bagel had the strangest texture and there was barely any egg or bacon inside. My friend Alli and I were in a slight rush to make our train a few blocks away but we wanted ice cream so we stopped by Dolce Crema Caffe. The ice cream place we tried beforehand was cash-only (and sadly we had no cash) but DCC thankfully took credit cards. We actually got gelato, I got a medium size cup with one scoop of caramel oreo and one scoop of banana chocolate. Alli said the way the woman spread our gelato all over the sides of the cup was "very Italian" and the serving size was definitely worth the price. It was so TASTY! This is a jewel in OOB. Everything is tasty and well done for a small sandwich type place. Gelato is rich. I wish it were open all year.

This was my everyday stop for coffee during my week in OOB, I couldn't find any other place in the area for decent espresso drinks. Starbucks it ain't, but the espresso drinks were acceptable and it saved me from having to resort to crummy Dunkin Donuts coffee. They also serve gelato (their Rocky Road was my favorite), pastries, cakes, and pies (their Maine Mud and Grand Slam pies were rich & delicious). Seriously! This place is absolutely amazing! My Boyfriend and I went in this 4th of July weekend and ordered two panini's. I had a chicken fajita and he had an Italian. They were fantastic. We walked in after buying two marshmellow guns and were running around having the time of our lives shooting each other all over OOB. The guys who work behind the counter are awesome! They are so much fun! You just don't find that very much anymore at restaurants! I had no idea that this place existed and being a seasonal renter for 6 months out of the year at OOB..this is our definite new place to go. They have tons of Gelato and the most amazing desserts. Good coffee, so we decided to give the food a try a few days later for a light meal. New England clam chowda - good flavor, yet had hot spots with some cold potatoes; likely microwaved. I still believe this was a homemade soup however. Turkey panini was very basic, with stove top boxed stuffing (or just a poor homemade version) and cold cut turkey. Found myself returning to this place often during our stay in OOB. The employees were exceptionally friendly. I loved the variety of products offered and the location is super convenient. Huge selection of coffee and I particularly appreciated the set up. I didn't have to wait for that person with the frappelattecino with extra extra cream and extra extra sugar to get a black coffee. Gelato was to die for. Wish I had gotten a bigger size. Scratch that I wish I could have just crawled in into the display and had my way with all the different flavors. We came in the first time after seeing the smoothie signs as we drove down the main road in OOB, and came in for smoothies. When we walked in, we were pleased with the bright colored walls and interior, making it more than just a small hole-in-the wall place among the rest. We saw the huge menu, and decided to come back later for lunch. Not only were the smoothies good, but the cashiers and people working were all very friendly and helpful. When we did come back for lunch, our family of four all ordered different things, and all of them were wonderful! Definitely will be returning on this trip, and if we come back to OOB, will definitely make it a vacation stop for us. read more

My only complaint is that there are too many things to choose from: I couldn't sample them all! The gelato was delicious, cake was very good, and the espresso drinks were good too.
