The matcha was a bit sweet (couldn't tell if it was the milk that was sweetened or their matcha) and I'm used to not having any sweeteners in my drink. It was refreshing but would not be my go to drink to get here. I'll have to try their other drinks next time. There's plenty of seating if you want to stay here and chill. Service was quick too.

I visited Sweetwaters, and I was impressed! Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and walked through some of their recommendations, which was super helpful. I decided to try the dirty cold brew, which is a mix of cold brew, espresso, chocolate sauce, and cream it was pretty good! I also enjoyed the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Adding a bit of jelly made it even tastier. I will definitely be going back!

I love going to Sweeteaters :) they have great drink and food options and I love that they rotate their menu with the season. I'd curl up here in the winter time to get some work done (excellent wifi and a decent amount of outlets) and now since it's summer I can enjoy their iced drinks. Today I got the Summer Dreamy with lavender and pistachio. The drink usually comes with heavy cream but as a sensitive stomach girlie I subbed for oat milk and it is delicious! There were also updates to their community wall and some new art hanging up. It made for a pleasant morning coffee run :)

Stopped here for a quick coffee and snack before seeing some St. Louis sights. The art inside was cool but the seating area needed some cleaning. The staff seemed confused and overwhelmed by our orders (there were 3 of us) and only 2 other parties in the store. My coffee was personally so gross I had to throw it out, but the croissant was good.

Quick and friendly service along with reasonable prices. Cute shop that seemed like it would be nice to hang out in, though I took my coffee to go. Can't speak to the food, because we didn't get any. The coffee was good.

Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars I've been coming to Chroma for over a year to get my hair done at SL, and never noticed that Sweetwaters was just a couple of storefronts away. Am I that oblivious to my surroundings, or do they need better signage? Venue is spacious with plenty of natural light and seating. I'm not quite sure I agree with the flow of the counter space, as it's not clear where you order or pick up your order. Loved my hazelnut latte and the fact that I had more than 1 plant-based milk option.

I tried this spot out after hearing some good things about it. The inside was nice and beautiful, perfect for a date or chill hangout. The staff was helpful and gave us samples to figure out the drinks we liked, I had the French Vietnamese and Croissant and both were delicious. I'd definitely be showing up again for my coffee fixes. Keep up the great work!!

Stopped into Sweetwaters for their November reusable cup discount event. I got my reusable cup filled with the seasonal peppy bark mocha and received a 10% discount. My drink was creamy, minty, and chocolatey - a yummy start to the seasonal holiday drink season! The space at Sweetwaters was roomy with lots of natural light. It would be a great space to work remotely. The barista was nice and friendly. A good experience all around!

Fair selection of sweet and savory breakfast items and beverages. All good, a bit pricy, but super convenient for residents.

I came here for a quick drink while waiting for an appointment at the Salon Loft next door. The shop is spacious inside and has plenty of outlets to charge your electronics while you hang out here to enjoy your drinks and food or study. I ordered an iced mango tea, and it was delicious The staff was prompt and got my order fast. Today is super slow at this shop since the weather is gloomy.

Located in Forest Park Southeast near The Grove, Sweetwaters is a trendy but forgettable fusion between a coffee shop and a boba tea bar. The service (4/5) was very good and accommodating for special add ons like oat milk, etc. The coffee (3/5) was just average. I'm not a real coffee drinker, I prefer sweet coffees, hence our stop at Sweetwaters. I ordered a vanilla latte, but was not impressed. The indoor seating is nice, has a urban feel with a lot of vegetation, a nice place to study or work.

    Strawberry Fruit Matcha Tea

Let's talk about the crime against humanity they tried to pass off as "matcha." WHY. WAS. IT. BROWN??? Matcha is supposed to be a vibrant, gorgeous green--add strawberry syrup and it should look like a TikTok aesthetic drink, all green and red. Instead, this was a muddy mid-brown, like someone stirred pond water with a cough syrup straw. I've had matcha from bougie cafés, gas stations, even sketchy strip malls, and NEVER have I seen it come out looking like swamp sludge. What dark sorcery are they brewing back there?! And don't even get me started on the food. The "egg" wasn't an egg--it was a microwaved, frozen puck in plastic. The bagel was so old it probably remembers the dinosaurs. The hashbrowns? Tiny frozen cubes that tasted like sadness. Forty. Dollars. For a meal so inedible it went straight to the trash. I wouldn't feed this to my worst enemy. Honestly, just go to the grocery store and buy literally anything else--it'll be fresher, cheaper, and won't traumatize your taste buds.

We have so many good coffee spots in the city and this one seemed so interesting to me! Parking was easy, we walked up and only had to wait a few minutes in line. The menu is awesome, and honestly, their food options are priced really fair. Coffee does seem on the expensive side (two lattes for ~$20) BUT it is speciality coffee afterall. You can also see where they're roasting it, so you know it's fresh. I got the s'mores latte and my husband got a dirty chai. They obsviously use super high quality ingredients AND make syrups in house. Very unique, fresh flavors in both mine and my husbands latte. And both were SO GOOD. Espresso was pulled perfect and had great taste. Their patio is awesome, they have a little indoor space in their greenhouse as well, but we opted for outside since it was a nice morning. It's a beautiful property, and if I ever need a place to sit and work, this would be it. If we lived walking distance, this spot would be dangerous. Definitely one of the more fresh, tastier coffee spots in the city!

I wasn't greeted when I entered and I didn't see a food menu, so I chose from the baked items in cases on the counter. The drink menu included many temping items, and a list of tea varieties was on the counter. Later, I noticed an LED screen was changing displays and did include some breakfast sandwich items that I missed. Maybe next time! My latte was good. The bacon cheddar scone was served at room temp and did not seem fully cooked; it had sticky batter in the middle. Unless I missed an adjoining room, seating is limited to counter stools and tables for two-- both high top and low options. There's plenty of outdoor seating, though it wasn't shaded when I visited. Several people were working at computers in the morning I dropped by, and a few tables of two were talking. I think it would be a stretch to have a larger group in the space.

Those are some great prices. Our first bartender was Danielle and she made me an excellent Extra Dry Vodka Martini with a Twist. As I sipped my Martini, I enjoyed an order of Truffle Fries and the order was HUGE. Not knowing how big it was, my friend and I each ordered fries. We easily could have shared one and still had leftovers. My second classic cocktail was a, Old Fashioned. Being a fan of classic cocktails, I enjoy Happy Hours that offer them at reduced prices. Again, Danielle prepared a masterfully made cocktail. Danielle was very personable. My friend and I enjoyed chatting with her. Around 4 PM there was a shift change and we got me meet the next bartenders coming on duty. Sam and Kim didn't make us any drinks, but they were fun to banter with while we finished our cocktails. I thought the set up of the Social Club was cool. You've the bar in the center. Then the pizza and burger offerings each have their own kitchens. Also, beware that the restroom is not gender specific. It's one large room with separate stalls that have doors and walls that go floor to ceiling.
