100% vegan & DELICIOUS ! The banana creme pie cup & hibiscus tea were exactly what I was craving . Service & location were a vibe.

I always leave SweetArt feeling happy, not only because of the food but also the atmosphere. I am not a vegan, so certain products like the vegan sausage aren't my full cup of tea, but the pastries, potatoes, and tofu scramble are delicious! Their new Lindell location is so perfect because of the natural light and added space. Need to Knows: You order at the register and they bring a number to your table. You also bus your own table. Very community vibe. I highly recommend checking out SweetArt, you know, for the culture! Parking: On-Street Customer Service: Great Cleanliness: AMAZING! Quality of Food: Yummy

I've always loved sweet arts baked goods and the cinnamon roll I didn't take a picture of was absolutely delicious. The new location needs some time. The food has never been a strong suit for me as someone with texture issues. The wrap i got was buffalo cauliflower and avocado. It was too wet. The lettuce didn't make sense under the wet buffalo sauce and the avocado was too much together and soggy to eat. The only other issue is I've ordered French fries multiple times and it takes a while to get your order and my fries are never hot, it's very confusing. Will continue to shop baked goods!

Sweetart is so dang delicious. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I do enjoy their offerings. The spot itself is cozy and brightly lit with quotes and art adorning the walls. It's a very welcoming atmosphere. You order at the counter, and I was in the mood for a burger and fries. I got the throwback burger with the sweet burger patty. It came with lots of sauce which isn't my personal preference, so next time I would ask for light. The fries were amazing and seasoned- definitely delicious. I also got a vegan baked treat of a cupcake, which looked like a chocolate hostess cupcake. It was a fun nostalgic choice and tasted delicious. I'd highly recommend visiting!

Another location for Sweethart and I'm here for it. This time, they popped up on St. Louis University's campus. The space is super bright and super roomy. Pull up a chair and work all afternoon. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make this my semi permanent office. Iced Americano, please with a sugar cookie. Don't get too comfortable without me. I kind of stick to things I like.

When SweetArt was still at their old location, I had been wanting to try but never made it. Now that their new location is right down the street from me, I had no excuse not to check it out! I visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2 PM. My partner and I had just eaten a big lunch nearby, so we were looking for some sweet treats to share. Safe to say that SweetArt had plenty of options for us! I absolutely love what they've done with the interior. My partner used to live in the apartments above, and their restaurant area had been sitting vacant for years and years. Knowing what it used to look like, they've totally transformed the space. I'm so happy to see that it was given a new life. I think this will be a perfect spot for SLU students to hang out and get some work done. There's so many great seating options, and it really does feel like a bright and welcoming space where you just want to sit down and stay awhile. They also have lots of outdoor seating with huge umbrellas for some nice shade. After much debate, my partner and I selected four bakery items to try. We had a double chocolate pistachio orange cookie, a classic chocolate chip cookie, a chai snickerdoodle cookie, and a chocolate cupcake. The chocolate cupcake was by far our favorite. It looks just like a Hostess cupcake but tastes about a gazillion times better! Seriously so good, and I don't think you can come here without trying one yourself. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good. I liked the contrast of the salt on top with the sweetness of the cookie. The double chocolate pistachio orange took me by surprise! The orange flavor really came out in the aftertaste, and it was one of the most unique cookies I've ever tried. My partner and I weren't huge fans of the chai snickerdoodle, but it looked really pretty! Obviously I need to come back and try their food menu for the full experience. Their coffee also looked great!

Went to SweetArt bakery for brunch. My son started with the cinnamon roll which absolutely rocked. I had the sausage sandwich and my wife had the chicken sandwich both were delicious. My daughter had the oyster mushrooms with Mac and cheese and side salad. I tried the mushrooms and I will have that next time. They were perfect. My granddaughter had the chicken strip and she liked it. Our server was great. And the cafe clean and artsy. SweetArt is well worth the trip.

Giving this place a 5 star review off the taste of this cinnamon roll alone, not a vegan by any means but I'll be back to try some more of their menu. The cinnamon roll was perfect could barely tell the difference from a regular cinnamon roll, the icing was sweet but not too sweet and the roll itself was filling a hefty portion to say the les. A Great friend of mine (Jalen) had told me about this spot when he first started working. After they changed location I decided to stop by with my wife to see what's up. The inside I very spacious with plenty of seating. They have some pastries displayed up front and right next to is the coffee bar.

Mid as mid can get. $21 for three pieces of chikn, bland sauce, cold mac and cheese and warm kale salad. Most of the options on their menu weren't available as well. Skip this one.

SweetArt is a wonderful Shaw staple that serves vegan fare. You can dine in or carry out. I absolutely love their pastries, particularly the Faux-stess!

Definitely a great restaurant to go to. I can honestly say this is one of my top vegan restaurants in St. Louis. The customer service was amazing. The lady at the front helped my pick out food items I should try being my first time. The place is really cozy if you're going to sit and eat very nice ambiance. The food was good and couldn't believe that it was all vegan. Well definitely come back!

This caramel pound cake was soo good. It was moist. Omg mouthwatering. The pic don't do it justice. The chai cookie was so good too. I had to wave my sons paws away from taking it from me

2.5 We saw this business on a food show and wanted to love it sooo much. The interior decorations and cleanliness was great. Love all the art, colors and vibe of the business. Once you walk in you see lots of vegan pastries. We ordered a few and got there a little bit after the opened. We asked them about food and they said the kitchen didn't open until 11:00. We came into town to visit family, but came here first so ended up waiting about 40 minutes for food. If we would've just came in for desserts the and left the rating would've been higher. We ordered all our food at the same time, when I went back up to the counter to get my cookies and they accidentally gave my order to another customer who was gone. They still had enough of what I ordered to recreate my order. They do a lot of cooking and brunch options on Sundays, so we came in from brunch items and could not get any of those items. My son didn't care for his kids meal, but liked the chips. My husband enjoyed the tacos, but said that the Jamaica one needed more seasoning, was too blame and the Sonia was too spicy but he liked it. My fired mushrooms were nice and crispy but had no seasoning. The mac-n-cheese had a weird chipotle type flavor that was not pleasing to me. The kale was fresh, but the dressing on it was icky to me. My husband enjoyed a few bites. My guys enjoyed the dessert. All in all the vibe started good, but the food was not as good as we anticipated all the way from Texas. Would come back to try brunch and give it another try, get the fried mushrooms or desserts. Tip: Also they don't military discount for anyone wondering.

They had 2 wait staff working when we went and both greeted us immediately and seated us inside. Their air conditioning was broken and awaiting repair and they had signs throughout explaining that. It was still cooler inside than out so we sat inside. I was curious what a butterfly lemonade was so I ordered one. It was good and quite refreshing with traditional lemonade at the bottom topped with a vibrant deep purple concoction on top. After I educated myself, I found that the deep purple concoction is steeped tea made from butterfly pea flowers. We started with some egg rolls - fried with ground pork and vegetables and served with sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was great! I normally pass as most of them have a cloyingly sweet flavor that I don't like but theirs had a really good balance of flavors amd not too sweet. The egg rolls were flavorful enough to stand on their own though and yes, delivered piping hot to the table. I had the drunken noodles with beef at medium spicy level. At first bite, I was immediately able to taste the spicy level I chose. A great sign. Then I sniffed and started sweating. Another great sign of good spice level. My husband ordered the yellow curry with tofu and medium spice level as well. At first he said it could be hotter but then midway through he decided it was more of a build up and thought the level was actually perfect. Serving size was great. You can definitely get another meal out of an order! We took the rest of our food home. I cannot wait to eat my leftovers today. What a great spot for a delicious, quick dinner!

I get that this is a Thai restaurant, not Chinese (though it's more Chinese than I am), but Meyou might consider such a policy. I would have benefited from it yesterday. I visited on a Wednesday evening with members of a running group. There were umpteen of us. If we'd been given a single egg roll appetizer, we would have been forced to cut it in tiny pieces and share. I would have been willing to do that, because I'm a confirmed, avowed savage. My reputation precedes me. Arguably, they should give you one free appetizer for every six members of your party. But I digress. Now, where was I? Ah yes, Meyou. I'd describe this place as a somewhat Americanized version of Thai food, based on what little I know from having recently visited Bangkok and eaten in roughly 40 or 50 restaurants, food stalls and what have you over the course of a few days, i.e. not a whole lot. You can get pad thai and various other soups, noodles and curries, along with fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoon and chicken wings. It's got a little something for everyone. Do they charge you $0.25 for extra soy sauce? Can you call up and try to harangue them into giving you a free order of crab rangoon by claiming that they shorted you the last time you were there, knowing good and well they can count better than you? I'm not sure. I might try that on my next visit and report back. This time, I went with something called Pad See Ew, which wasn't nearly as gross as its name suggests. In fact, it was good. Its description on the menu, with broccoli, eggs and soy sauce, called to mind various things I might order from a Chinese takeout--which is what I tend to look for in a menu item. As a noodle dish, I figured the overall flavor profile might not be different from a lo mein lunch special I used to get decades ago, that I still fondly reminisce about on a weekly basis. I wasn't that far off from the mark. They let you choose the spice level, ranging from mild to hot. I usually get hot in most places, but I'm hesitant to do that at Asian restaurants, because they might have access to peppers that are technically considered research chemicals, like Temu Ozempic, and therefore not subject to FDA approval. There were a few girls there, and I didn't want to run the risk of my throat starting to close up. I'd have to find a new run group. Medium turned out to be just right for me, but maybe too spicy if you're expecting something along the lines of a buffalo wing. Even the mild, apparently, has a bit of a kick to it. The noodles were nice and slippery and cooked a touch beyond al dente, right in that Goldilocks zone between undercooked and mush. The heat, and the complexity provided by whatever they use to season this, helped offset the underlying sweetness. You get your choice of meat. No Diddy. I went with pork, natch, with apologies to the Honorable Minister. The amount they give you is surprisingly generous, except that this dish will run you. I'm talking modern-day Chipotle prices. Maybe a dollar or two more. Yikes! But I'd argue that the quality justifies it. If I lived nearby, and I had the means, I'd stop by on occasion.

The line goes out the back door and you better hope a table gets flipped in time for you to eat. I got the fish sandwich. The bread and fish had a smoke flavor but needed assistance from the sauce. It would better with some of the cabbage on it. The cabbage also needed more pickling. The house chips were great and had enough flavor. I also tried the "bread pudding". It was tough and more like a french toast and not at all soft. The whipped cream and sour cherries were the best. Accessibility note: This restaurant is not accessible. The "accessibility" entry is clunky and requires a lot of assistance to manage. The back staircase has railing but more than 4 steps. The front entry could be accessible if they lay ramp concrete to remove the small step. Also the Main Street patio seating completely blocks the sidewalk so wheelchair and walker users would have to enter the street. The newest award for the owner made the food hard to live up to, but I want to return.

The staff are very attentive to how your food tastes and make plenty of funny jokes with you. They also are very descriptive on what the specials on pancakes and omelettes are. I watched the weather while my food was being prepared, and occasionally looking at the PBS TV nearby. My wife was drawing with my 11 year old daughter (and writing "secret messages") as their food was being prepped and prepared. When my food finally came out, I immediately took a bite. The brisket was very juicy and tender. And the eggs were delicious on the side. I tried this place several years ago. Was still the same good taste that I remember when I took my wife to this place. Very amazing place. Will come again.

Not only were we not granted an exception on the checks as consolation for not being able to order french fries, there was no indication that this had even occurred to our server. This is precisely the level of temerity we need to inculcate in young women in our society, and I'd encourage her to apply for a job at the women's-only sports bar a few doors down if and when it ever opens. It'd be tragic if she wasn't there if and when I return, but I'd appreciate the fact that she has a greater mission. Hopefully, the deep fryer is working. It being out of commission naturally limited the number of things on the menu we could order. We were only told that we couldn't order anything that required a deep fryer, not given a modified menu or anything. I started going through each item and imagining how it might be prepared, but I couldn't muster the psychological bandwidth to continue. Hit my Cash App if you appreciate the amount of unpaid emotional labor I was compelled to contribute. It occurred to me that I might just get a burger and a side salad, but then I saw that they carry a club sandwich. I love a good club sandwich, and I figured it might make for a light, refreshing alternative, given the weather. There's an option to get a cup of soup for $1.50 extra as a side with your sandwich (no, they didn't offer to eat the charge), and I figured that might go well with my sandwich. I was kicking myself when they brought out someone else's order with the side salad. It looked really good. The Frisco Burger, or whatever they're calling it, looked good too. Meanwhile, the BBQ Beef & Cheddar Soup--the soup du jour (that's French), according to Flo--looked gross, like something your dog might cough up. But damn it was good! It was more beef than anything else. A large bowl of it might actually be too much food. (I'd still eat it, natch.) The overall flavor profile was along the lines of a good french onion soup. It was a reminder that I need to be ordering soup in restaurants more often. I wish the club sandwich was cut into little triangles and fanned out on the plate in some elaborate configuration, like at a place where rich old ladies have lunch, but I guess that wouldn't have been in keeping with the theme. Instead, it was served on the world's thickest Texas toast, with the world's dullest steak knife protruding from its center. This sounds like hyperbole, but I may have honestly been served the equivalent of half a loaf of bread. It was much more bread than I required, but at least it was fresh and delicious, as were all the other ingredients. Turkey used for sandwiches is almost never remarkable, but this was surprisingly great, as good as anything you'd get served as an entree unto itself. Nothing about this place suggests that it would have such good food, but it just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. The decor, the overall vibe and the lack of hospitality might not be for everyone, but don't let that deter you.
