Stopped in for lunch as we traveled through. We were the only ones there which we were concerned with but the food was fantastic.

Customer service is their business? NO! We were seated immediately when we arrived. 15 minutes later after never being acknowledged that I was breathing, We left. All anyone had to do was say we will be with you shortly. Every wait staff had to pass our table to get to the serving area. No-one ever said anything to us. We left. That is why I have not entered that establishment since at least 2018, even though they local to us. I guess we will NOT be back. read more

Really good food! Lots of great options on the menu. Large portions as the subs are all footlongs. But who is complaining? I hadn't heard of the Boston Butt but I'm so glad I tried it. Delicious! We've been coming here for years. When we first came it was an easy 5 star place. But in the years it has just gone down for us. Sadly, we won't be back after this attempt. The service is great. Everyone is friendly, this is not a review based on anything by the quality of the food for what we pay. First everything except salad is severed in a metal wired basket that is TINY compared to your food amount piled in it and always COVERED in grease. So the paper breaks and all your food mixes and it's just a complete mess. Honestly, they need to use plates. And this isn't a one off situation, it happens everytime we go there, even I'm take out. The food doesn't taste bad, but when you pay $14 for a quesadilla you don't wanna eat it with a spoon. Again the service is always great and it's always busy, so maybe we are the only ones who feel this way but the last few times we have tried, even take out, we have left a little disappointed. read more

I had to fish tacos the first time and they were very good. The next time I got burgers and they were huge but could use more seasoning. The food was fresh tasting and obviously cooked to order because it was hot when brought home. They get the food out quickly. We will visit here regularly. read more

I would to have loved to rate this place 5 stars, visited twice while we were in town, the food was absolutely amazing, great beer selection, awesome vibe! The only thing that really ruined this for my husband and I was the awful, downright nasty attitude from the female bartender, didn't catch her name, and I don't want to embarrass her either. I always thought TN was so hospitable but not her. Maybe she had an off day or something but will not be returning. Haven't been in the industry for a couple years but great customer service is how you keep guest returning and how you make lots of money!! I think she may need a lesson or two on that. read more

Not impressed at all, lousy service and poor portions for the meal. Ordered the wings, there was a hair in my wings - yuck! Slow service, server obviously cared more about gabbing with her coworkers. Took my server who has no tables 15 minutes just to get my drink order. Some stoner with a nose ring made my burger veeeery well done when I asked medium rare. Definitely has potential, and a cool location.Had to ask for my wings to be replaced, overhead the cook complaining. For my entree I ordered a simple cheeseburger with some sautéed onions, lettuce, and tomato. Asked for it medium rare, burger was well done, and it was mostly bread. I had big mouthfuls of bread before I even touched the burger. The idea of this restaurant is nice, but everything was poorly done. Sad to say this was very disappointing and I have absolutely no interest in returning, and I recommend you don't try it either. read more

Yesterday my daughter (Ashland City) took me to Swezey's for lunch for my first visit. We were seated in the bar room where alt-rock music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. We quickly re-seated ourselves in the "music" room side where it was much less noisy, and then we had to ask for ice for our ice tea, which had very little. This was quickly taken care of and now that a couple of minor adjustments had been made, we were ready to eat. My daughter ordered the "Philly" sub and I ordered the Reuben, one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. The basket, as served, looked overwhelming, with large, fresh, and steaming servings. This "Reuben" was their rendition of a traditional Reuben; it wasn't on Rye bread, and I couldn't find, or at least taste, sauerkraut, and I couldn't really taste "Swiss" in the cheese. But never mind. Whatever it was, Reuben, faux-Reuben, or whatever, it was one of the most delicious sub sandwiches I've had in decades. Two 5-1/2" halves of fresh and marvelous bakery sub roll, chocked FULL of quality corned beef & cheese and 1000 Island dressing, accompanied by a generous mound of french fries which only minutes before had been a potato. This is pub grub of the highest quality, ranking with the best I've ever had, and well worth the reasonable price. read more

Food was excellent and the staff is very kind! The Cajun fries were awesome. The Kielbasa sandwich was absolutely mouth watering! Best sandwich I've had at a bar and grill type place. We got so much food which is always a plus! The corn dip was really good, it would have been even better served warm. The music was extremely loud which was tough for myself and my best friend who both suffer from anxiety but it is a Pub after all. Began to go here shortly after it opened. I have tried a number of their sandwiches (Philly Cheesesteak, Boston Butt, Reuben, Italian and buger) and Fish Tacos, and the only disappointment was when I ordered a burger, as I was not a fan of the bun. The burger itself was very good, but the bun was not to my liking. The subs are enough for 2 meals, and this is from someone who rarely gets a to-go box. But do yourself (and your taste buds) a favor and head over there for the best food in Pleasant View! My wife and I tried it for lunch last week, and both ordered the Boston butt based on the reviews here. It didn't disappoint. Not only were the sandwiches absolutely delicious, the portions are huge. I'm a pretty good size guy, and even as yummy as the food was I could only finish half of it. Fortunately, you can get a to-go box and take the rest with you for another meal later. Since the sun wasn't over the yardarm yet we didn't order drinks, but from what I could see they have a decently-stocked bar and a nice selection of beers. I'll have to go back again at a time when drinks are appropriate and test the bartender's ability to make a proper dry martini. Shaken, not stirred, of course. Pleasant View has long needed a decent pub/restaurant, and Swezey's is a welcome addition to the community. Finally, someone in this town knows how to run a restaurant. read more

Sandwiches are huge and you will have a second meal to take home from them. They have a limited beer selection and live music on weekends.
