GET KEYS BEFORE YOU PAY! The reason they have a such a high Review rating is because they offer a $50 discount if you write them a great review. They also require you to pay before any services are done. My locksmith SEAN COHEN could not supply me with programmed keys but also would not give me a full refund. He will only give me $200 back and still has not yet paid me. He changed $400! Got 2 button keys from dealer for $465. My advice don't go with the guy who does this in the back of a van...still waiting on my refund Update: I'm giving 3 stars now only because owner gave me a call after making this post and informed me Sean is no longer. This is a very long over due review but Leo is amazing. First off my case was not easy I had lost every key to my car. When Leo tried to put in the code for my car the program could find nothing. Leo then took apart my whole lock and had to create a key from scratch. He was finally able to make one and didn't even charge me extra for all the work he ended up doing. I lost the only car key to my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo and was devastated. I contacted several locksmiths but only two of them where able to help. Leo from Swift Locksmith came to my house and recreated a new key for my car. Unfortunately he wasn't able to get a pin for a car of that age to make it start. He left the key with me to find someone who could get the pin for me. He worked about 45 Minutes on my car and didn't even charge me for anything. Really nice guy and great service. read more

Horrible company! Warning do not call this company the owner "Leo" personally stole money from my wife and now he's rejecting her attempted phone calls. She needed to get a car key made for a Mitsubishi Galant because the original key was lost and she called about four or five different companies and actually had another company scheduled to come over at 9 a.m. and Leo undercut the other company and told my wife he was better and would do it for cheaper than the other company. This should have been the first red flag but it didn't occur to my wife and she that she was being scammed because she assumed Swift locksmith was a reputable company when in fact they are quite the opposite! Leo was a fast talker and good con artist and I would bet you anything that he himself has written most of the reviews on the company's Yelp reviews. There's no way Swift locksmith or its owner Leo received four or five stars. Thinking she was going to save some money it's going to cost twice as much because now she has to pay for a second company to come out and complete the job that Leo with Swift locksmith failed to do. When leo arrived he told my wife that it would be $150 to make the master key and he needed the money up front when originally Leo quoted her $120, another red flag. She then specifically ask him if there would be any additional fees or if that was the final price with the key programmed and functioning properly. He assured her that it would be $150 even and yes that everything would be working properly. "HE LIED" he knew before he even arrived that he was incapable of re-programming the cars computer to match the new key that's why he made her pay upfront. A reputable businessman or company especially knowing so beforehand would have not even attempted the job or possibly attempted it but informed the customer that it may not work and if it doesn't work I will refund your money altogether or at least only charge the $20 service fee the company charges just for showing up because that's the purpose of the on-site fee to cover the added expenses or coming to your location which I would have had no problem paying but taking the full $150 for a job that he did not complete is stealing and even worse it was totally premeditated on a woman! Leo proclaimed there was something wrong with the car which is untrue because the old key worked just fine and my next door neighbor is a mechanic and he brought his computer diagnostic tool over to my house and we went through the whole car even starting the fuel pump manually with his computer diagnostic tool troubleshooting it all the way down to the locksmith not reprogramming the key-fob to match the car. My wife was handed a key that would unlock the door but not start the car what's the point of that when we needed a key that starts the car and all this was discussed up front so he was well aware bottom line is Leo did not care and we were scammed. I called Leo later that day and he just gave me the run-around on the phone with no solution from him. Stay away from Smith Locksmith company from Sacramento CA. read more
