Went in due to my right ear being completely clogged and I can't hear out of it all of a sudden. I do not live in Texas, I live in California. I was suppose to be on a flight out to California this morning at 6am but had to reschedule due to ear pain/irritation. Dr.Beverly walks in with a wierd attitude asking me what's wrong. I explain the irritation with my ear. She looks in my ear with scope and proclaims that I have an ear infection. Tells me she's going to issue me antibiotics... I then explain to her about flying home and if possible for a doctors note due to calling sick today. She tells me it's safe to go back into work tomorrow. She attempts to walk out of the office and as I am ready to ask her a question FOR A DOCTORS NOTE she turns around ROLLS her eyes and sighs with an answer "so is that what your here for? A doctors note?" Absolutely ridiculous...... I ignore her ignorance and A little worried I ask for the last time how safe it is to fly on an airplane with my ear condition. Unassure she replies, "it SHOULd." At that point I'm a little worried because I want complete assurance that I'll be ok because the last thing I need is to have ear pain on an almost 4 hour flight back home. Experience was HORRIBLE. Now I'm on my way to another urgent care where I can find someone who will help me and see me as a patient rather than a burden. read more

I've been here a handful of times now, and EACH TIME I have had such a great experience!! The front staff is always so kind, efficient and caring!! The med-assistants are kind as well. Also, the DOCTOR is extremely courteous and caring as well!! It's honestly refreshing to actually be seen by a doctor who showcases care and not just a cold hi-bye-thank you that is so common in the medical field. I always check in online and am seen in such a great time frame and leave happy & satisfied. I'm new to the area and have not selected a doctor yet. I had some type of allergic reaction or a lot of bug bites with red bumps all over. It was early evening and I didn't feel like driving great distances so I googled for the closet urgent care to me and SwiftCare popped up. While reviewing their website and also an online check-in, I made an appointment in hopes that I wouldn't have to wait long. The place was very modern, nice and clean. There was no one else waiting so I hoped this would be quick. The longest part was filling out paperwork. I was in and out fairly quickly, got some medication prescribed and hoping the itching and bumps go away in the next few days. The front reception, nurse and medical assistant were very friendly, courteous and attentive. This is a facility that I would return to if anything comes up. read more

Went in 3 weeks ago for UTI and been put on 2 and half weeks worth of 2 different antibiotics and neither one worked so I called in today ask what the hell are they doing to me cause being on antibiotics that kill other Bacteria that you don't have is very troubling and not safe. So they they tell me the infection I have was resistant to a lot of antibiotics so instead of just prescribing the right one to kill the bacteria l they decided they want to play games with my life and just write a prescription for 2 antibiotics and hope it works. I knew something was wrong on Monday when I had a fever and body aches I knew it was from UTI but they told me to come back in so long story short almost 3wesks of wrong Antibiotics they want to prescribe another week of antibiotics this time the right antibiotic that they should have prescribed the first time. I would definitely recommend going here. The staff is so friendly and you can tell that they genuinely care. They treated me and my daughter so well and went over some options to see what she was most comfortable with(vaccine, liquid antibiotics, or a pill). The doctor, I don't remember her name but she was a redhead, was a very friendly. She answered all the questions we had and told my daughter she had nothing to be scared of. My family has been coming to this location shortly after they opened. The front desk staff have always been sweet and courteous; even when we had a very fussy and sick toddler one particularly cold morning. We have yet to meet a rude nurse or doctor, as they have consistently taken the time to answer all of our questions during each visit. The online check-in is super convenient and updates the time if it's no longer available prior to your having to enter a bunch of information like some other sites. (You also only need your personal info to secure a time.) If you happen to be a "walk-in" the wait is still not too bad. Compared to the other urgent care facilities, your wait time is nonexistent. The facility (and bathrooms) are extremely clean and smell good - no bleach or Lysol aroma here. All the employees seem happy to actually be at work, their demeanor is that of someone who actually cares and wants to make you feel better. I'm sure it sounds like a bold statement, possibly even over the top, but I will not go to nor take our son to another urgent care facility other than this one and my husband (who could usually careless) agrees. Further testament is that Swiftcare is no where near where we live and I am positive we pass at least 7-10+ other options, including Minute Clinics, in route; however it makes sense to us to go back where we know the quality of care and even the respect we receive will always be above par. read more

they charge 150 for rapid test and 200 for a send off. Even though I previously tested here and they charged nothing. The CDC states that Covid testing should be free for all American citizens. But somehow the rules are different here. I asked the woman what is the reason, and she states that free tests only apply to uninsured government approvals.. I asked her how they determine that, she states it's based on the questions they ask. I was never asked any detail questions that would lead them to qualify me as such. It's a scam, to take your money during a pandemic. I recommend a cvs, Walgreens or Walmart. Because there, testing is free, as it should be. read more

I've been to Swift Care several times and have always been treated for what I had. They are professional & kind!!! They are The Best!!

Extremely nice staff. Facility was spotless. They squeezed me and the receptionist couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

I first went in there to have my finger checked out because it was swollen and hurting very bad. I've had broken bones that didn't hurt as bad. They took an X-ray and ended up diagnosing me with arthritis. I was prescribed oral prednisone which they said would help with the pain. I was very skeptical about it help with the pain because I had already been taking several anti inflammatory medications including 800mg ibuprofen which none had been working to help alleviate the pain. I expressed my concern to the genius nurse practitioner about maybe needing something stronger to help with the pain while the oral steroids took effect. I explained that I fill prescriptions all day and type in hardcopy prescriptions that are to be filled. The pain was so severe that I could not concentrate on anything other than the pain and I had already caught my making mistakes while filling these prescriptions. The make believe doctor proceeded to make me feel like I was some junkie asking for narcotics. I was told by her that unless you had broken bones she would not prescribe anything other than ibuprofen cause we all know the only time we ever feel any pain is when we break a bone. I took the prescribed oral steroid and went home. Upon leaving I was told I would be called by someone the next day who would be checking on me. I ended up having to call them. I told them no progress was made and it was actually feeling worse and the pain more severe. I believe I was speaking to another nurse faketitioner but I could be wrong. I was told by that person ( which I believe had the I.Q. of that slimy black stuff that is excreted by a rotten potato that has been left in the ground under water during a week long rain storm) that she would not help. After she hung up on me ( I may or may not have called her a chicken shit for not wanting to help with the pain) i decided to go to the put myself at risk and go to the emergency room to see a real doctor. The doctor there performed 4 or 5 little tests and diagnosed me with Pyogenic Flexor Tenosynovitis which is a pretty serious deal. Long story short (lol) if you think it's worth risking you're life going to see these genius nurse faketitioners here then by all means go ahead, it's your life. I'll be honest the rest of the staff was very very nice but nice doesn't keep you alive, does it. I'm just saying. read more

Today was my first visit to this Urgent Care. It was my best experience in any doctor's office. The receptionist was very friendly yet professional. As soon as I finished the paperwork, I was ushered in to see the nurse practitioner. She diagnosed my problem immediately and prescribed medicine to relieve my pain. The office was clean. This is the second time I have used SwiftCare Urgent Care in 2018. I could not be more please. First, the office is immaculately clean. Second, the check in staff is quick and efficient. The nurse that I had was professional and nice. Last, I had two different skin rashes. I thought they were both poison ivy. The PA knew exactly what they were, called in the medicines and got me in and out in a very timely manner. I was please to find out that Medicare is accepted because I have been turned down at some urgent care facilities because of my age even if I offered to pay cash. I am very disappointed at this establishment, Sunday morning my daughter was feeling very ill so I took her in, they charged me $120 to see her and while she's in there say they need another $35 to do a strep test. To start m, the "Doctor" was very unprofessional, treated my daughter like she didn't believe what she told her she was feeling. Next she was offered a steroid for another $45 which I said no to. After the strep test, doctor comes back in, tells my daughter she has electronically sent the prescription to our pharmacy, didn't even tell her I'd she has strep until my daughter asked her. Doctor's response was " no you don't " daughter had to ask "so what do I have??" Doctor's response "I think you have sinus infection ". Are You kidding me?! She "thinks" ??? What the heck. We go home estoy a couple hours, go to the pharmacy, no prescription was sent. Absolutely unacceptable. Rip off. read more

I went in with sinus and pink eye. I told the nurse I may be allergic to Amoxicillin but they wrote a prescription for it anyway in its other name and I got the prescription and three days later had allergic reaction to it. Called them they called in steroid and said take Benadryl but never called in another prescriptions. So three weeks later I call them back to let them know I still have sore throat and sinus infection. The Dr. on duty said she did not see me and I would have to come in and pay again. When I initially went in I paid half the money to see a Dr. thinking they will send me a bill for the balance. Nope they charged my card with no warning or discussion about that is how they will collect the balance. They never sent a bill but just charged the card, never gave me an option of how to pay the bal. Each incident I ask to speak with the Office mgr she is never there and each time they say she will be there and I call she's not there then either, the last time the person Angela said email her she may respond to an email. I'm really grateful for the care I received at Swiftcare. I was traveling for meetings from out of town with bronchitis and despite having been on meds for a few days, I wasn't getting much better. After my meetings, I finally got to Swiftcare 8 minutes before they closed. The staff could have easily turned me away since they were getting ready to go home but Ms. Adesanoye and Dr. Ogbue took me in and stayed after 9pm to treat me. Once that was done I was able to go in and get it taken care of quickly without putting myself in danger of being by other people that could be possibly sick with COVID-19. I came to this location for the first time as I had the worst sore throat I'd ever had and was unable to be seen soon enough by my regular physician. Angela at the front desk, Catrina, and the first Nurse Practitioner I encountered, Regina, were absolutely wonderful. Turns out I had the flu and strep at the same time! Their bedside manner was amazing and Catrina even sat with with and rubbed my back when I felt nauseated. Their service was a 10/10. I thought that this would become my go-to clinic. However, the next day a different nurse practitioner called me to ensure that I was able to pick my medication up without any issues(which at the time I thought was very sweet). She was pretty short with me but I did not feel well enough to have a long conversation anyways. As the day went on, I began to feel even worse than before. My throat was so swollen that I could hardly speak and was having trouble swallowing even my own saliva. I called the office back, Angela answered(still very sweet) and put this same NP on the phone. She was incredibly RUDE and acted as though I was bothering her by asking my questions. She then noticed that I was prescribed liquid antibiotics(because my throat hurt too much to swallow a pill) and almost chuckled at me?? Her bedside manner was absolutely horrible. She said she'd prescribe me some steroids and got off of the phone. Two days later I am still in a ton of pain and can't even swallow the steroids because the pills are so large. Had my mother call on my behalf to ask about other options such as a liquid pain medication. She cut my mother off and accused her of trying to be prescribed opioids unnecessarily!! Then as my mother tried to explain my condition, she cut her off again and told her " You need to stop talking and listen to what i am saying because I am very busy right now". Ridiculously rude. I've now decided to just go to the hospital. That being said, if Regina is in, you're in for a 5 star experience. If not, God bless you. read more

I stopped at SwiftCare because of the reviews I found on Yelp, & I highly doubt I will return. I went in because my doctor could not get me in until the following week and I was feeling as if I may have the flu. I had a fever which I could not control since the previous day. I also had a bad cough and my chest felt a bit tight. The nurse practitioner, came in asked me a couple of questions. She checked my throat and my ears. She ruled it as an upper respiratory infection. I received a steroid shot and was prescribed a z-pack. However, the next day one of my ears felt a bit off. I felt as if I had a lot of pressure, but was unsure what was going on. I woke up the following day with blood on my pillow, when I called SwiftCare the person who answered the phone said she was would have the NP give me a call. I waited an entire hour before calling back since they never returned my phone call. The NP suggested I go to the emergency room, which I did. When I spoke to the doctor at Baylor, he asked me twice if I was sure the nurse had checked my ears. Turns out, my ear drum ruptured. Yes, SwiftCare has a friendly staff. Yes, they are super-fast they will get you in and out. I was out of SwiftCare less than 30 minutes. However, I much rather someone take their time and do their job correctly. I have only recently begun using Swift Care and I have been duly impressed. I was using another brand until my insurance changed and left me going to the emergency room for non-emergencies. Swift Care takes my insurance an performs like an ambassador. I've only been in there for acute breathing problems that require an injection to clear, but swift care has been prompt and effective. They offer me online check in, and I hope the rest of the industry takes notice. This is the best upgrade in outpatient healthcare in life. Swift Care to date has only offered me a Family Nurse Practitioner, but they are able to diagnose my problem and administer adequate care thus why would I care what their title is? I recommend these folks for cuts, bruises, non-critical needs, and ordinary old short of breath incidents. To date they have figured out some way I don't pay them $0.01 in co-pays. Your results may vary. I definitely do recommend them. read more

I do not recommend this place. I have a 101 temp and horrible cough. I was diagnosed with pnemonia. I also get costochondritis with bad coughs. When asking for a cough med I've taken for cough for years, I was told I couldn't have it because their director is overseas so they can only prescribe specific meds. Then I was told I couldn't have it because of other meds I'm on. After explaining I've taken this cough medicine many times over the years (with the other meds I'm on) and that I know it's the most effective for me, I was told I could only try the cough meds the PA wanted to try. Since I have anxiety, there are several cough meds I can't take and am not in a position to be trying new ones while already sick. There was no reason for my request to be denied. I certainly understand the pressure doctors are under nowadays, with people abusing medicines , but this was a clear case of me not getting the help I needed despite clear medical warrant. I've been there many times and never asked for this medicine or any like it. With a 101 temp, I was treated like a criminal. It's horrible. Med professionals really need to learn how to handle these situations and though it is easy to judge when you deal with the public (I know, I teach teens), maybe try to slow down a bit and not be so judgemental right away. Consider the human in front of you and the history you have with them, and if they are suffering, help. Five thumbs down read more

Went to 2 other clinics before finding Swiftcare. Neither one of them would see my son since it was so close to closing time (45 mins before). Walked into Swiftcare 15 mins before closing. They were very friendly and got me started on the paperwork. Before I finished, they already called him back and were checking him out. The exam was very thorough and the nurse practitioner that treated him was very informative and had a great bedside manner. We were in and out within 30 mins, and unlike other local urgent cares, they file with your insurance first, so no payment was due at the time.
