I've owned Honda civics since 2004 and have always had them serviced here. Happy with the service and free coffee. Though I miss the donuts and popcorn. The new waiting space is amazing, my only gripe is the WiFi isn't great. I brought my laptop to pass the time. Why have an amazing work space when I can't even get work done while I have my car is serviced. I walked the whole floor space checking speeds and was only getting 1 MB download speed on a Friday (not busy, less than 10 customers waiting) Web pages barely load. It's hopefully it's just a setting their network guys have to change. Give us at least 10mb! For reference, most home networks are around 30mbps. Service wise the staff is friendly and helpful, prices for service are usually reasonable (be sure to have google out to verify prices & the urgency of their service suggestions) For example I found their price to replace headlights and oil change reasonable but cabin filter change and windshield wipers a little much (and easily done by the owner but I get it that you're paying for labor). TLDR: I'd recommend getting your Honda serviced here. And if you can't tell, instead of working on my laptop I'm spending my wait time to complain about the WiFi lol. (My Verizon hotspot is also have a tough time in the building) read more

This is the first time I've service my new car here. So fare the waiting area here is nice, there's lots of chairs and seating available. You have areas where you can sit at a table. If you need to charge your phone there's outlets by the tree seating area and also on the stool area. The seating with a table and in front of the TV's are the only place where charging is not available. Their upstairs are solely offices for the Honda team associates. There are also a few downstairs. Honestly this was the worst car experience i've ever had... when I got there i immediately told the sales man that I had a loan with a credit union which he was completely fine with it he wasn't mentioning anything about putting a down payment or financing, in till we got inside into his office he asked us if we were gonna leave a down payment which mind you the loan was going to cover everything of the car plus tax which there was no point in leaving a down payment which we kept mentioning to him and he kept insisting that we leave a down payment or co signing which the loan didn't need no co signer which i understand that he's trying to make profit but he wasn't listening to us that were gonna use the loan we WERE NOT gonna use a down payment or finance. Ever time we tried to explain it to him he would change the topic about the loan and changed it to make a downpayment and finance through them that we could possibly get a lower rate through them and even tho we kept saying no and mentioning the loan and our plan he still kept insisting. He left and then outta no where another sales man started "helping us" which already through me off which I was already thrown off by. I've been here two times since they opened the new building and changed their name and honestly I'm not impressed at all. Service has always taken forever, even back when they were Honda world, but now it's a step above. 3 hours just to not even complete the work and tell me they need to order a part? Then the advisor gives me his number and tells me to text him when I'm ready to return, only for him to never respond to my messages day later. Then you make an appointment, get there on time, and they make you wait 30 minutes in line before an advisor even takes care of you. They have no respect for your time at all here, they act like they're doing you a favor when they charge you like crazy for everything. Very disappointed! Had an appointment for simple recall and oil change. Of course I was upselled two things that cost 300$ each. Fuel injector fluid change 3-4 times within the span of 1-2 years is ridiculous. I did it to avoid them saying this is the issue for anything in the future, but after researching, they definitely BS. Also, had a diagnostic for air conditioners blowing hot air out ac. They found 2 leaks and tried to charge almost 5k. Do not go here to do any major changes. Buy the parts online and get it done somewhere else, there are good spots and mechanics all around. Only get normal services if needed, especially if covered by warranty. They will always push on upselling something, get what you're there for and bounce. People are tight on money, stop with the dishonest sales tactics. read more

I had an appointment today at 8:30 AM for a simple oil change. When I dropped off my car, they took pictures of the car and the battery, which was clearly in good condition (green). Fast forward to 11:30 AM -- after waiting three hours for an oil change -- I'm suddenly told that my car needs to be jump-started because the battery is supposedly bad and needs to be replaced for $304. Very suspicious, considering my battery was perfectly fine before they took it in. Ernesto (the customer service rep) was quick to push the charge on me, which didn't sit right. On my way home, I called my husband, and he told me to go back and speak with Daniel, the service manager. After explaining what happened, Daniel suddenly dropped the price to $20 for the battery -- which makes it seem like they knew exactly what they were doing and just got caught. I even have pictures showing my battery was green before service and red afterward to prove how questionable this situation was. I've been coming to this Honda location for every service, but after this experience, I've lost all trust. The way this situation was handled felt unethical and dishonest. Not only that, but the time it takes for a basic oil change here is ridiculous. I do not recommend this service center to anyone. read more

I'm use to being treated with kindness and respect mind you. The advisor looked and saw I still had 50% oil life and said it was unnecessary, I said well my Honda Advantage care is expiring in a week and I'm driving to Vegas this week. The guy asked me to follow him inside so I did. He took some info down and began to "look my car" up in the system. He then said I didn't have the Honda Advantage care and I must've purchased it 3rd party. He said I could call lb Honda and ask them about it. Don't send coupons very much The work has been fine over the years, but earlier this year my wife's AC wasn't working and they said the entire system needed to be replaced and it would be $2,600. I asked if we were still talking about the AC and not the transmission or something because that seems extremely high. I ended up just paying for the diagnostic service and took it to a small shop in Bellflower and they fixed it for $300. It has has been 4 months and the AC is still working fine. read more

My interaction was at the service center. I made an appointment for routine maintenance for my 2025 CRV once it reached 5k miles. First of all, I didn't expect the wait time to be 2 hours! Even with an appointment! Secondly, the service representative who's name I didn't quite get because his introduction was underwhelming, did not give me a good impression when he said, you didn't get this car with us, right? And that my car didn't need maintenance since the oil life was at 60%. The combination of the wait time and the fact that he pointed out the oil life prompted me to leave without the maintenance. I was left uneasy because isn't maintaining a car more than oil change? what about tire rotation? what about check the air filter? What about inspection so that it continues to run smoothly? I started to wish Honda World across the street never closed which is where I got the car with a maintenance package. Also, my previous leased vehicle dealership (Mazda)performed inspection every 5K miles which just felt right and got what I paid for. It's Shinny new place from the outside but didn't get the service I hoped for so much for being "precision" Honda. If I could give -5 stars, I would. I'm only giving them one star because I have no choice. I had the worst experience ever. I booked an appointment for a Saturday for an oil change and to address some concerns I had with my car. I ended up leaving my car with them all day that Saturday. At first, I was told that my car warranty had expired months before I even purchased the car, which made no sense. When I returned to pick up my car, I was told they couldn't find anything wrong--despite having my car the entire day. I was then advised that the tech could take a better look until Monday, so I decided to leave my car there. On Monday, when I was called to pick up my car, they told me again that nothing was wrong and that they wouldn't submit any report to get it fixed. I explained all the concerns I had and showed them pictures and videos of the issues I'm experiencing, but they still said they wouldn't submit a ticket unless they found the issue or something "bad" happened. When I went to pick up my car that Monday, I noticed the oil change wasn't even done. I was extremely upset because that was the entire reason I booked the appointment for Saturday in the first place. They also said they no longer offer Lyft rides due to "system changes"--blah blah--no more than 6 miles, etc. I ended up leaving my car until Tuesday just to get the oil change, making it four days without a car, and they didn't even compensate me with a Lyft ride home for their mistake. I also could NEVER get in touch with the first person who helped me because the new system is terrible. The phone number he gave me for updates didn't work, and when I called the main office, they would transfer me to my advisor, but the call dropped every single time. So annoying. The last person who helped me did the best he could, and I was finally able to communicate with someone. But the first person not only gave me wrong information about my warranty, he also left me hanging, telling me they would check for me--yet I never got an answer. Honestly, I was looking forward to upgrading to a new car this December because of the issues I've been having and how uncomfortable I feel with my current car. I've been a loyal Honda customer since 2017 and have purchased three cars because I like to upgrade every 2-3 years. But after all this, I am 100000% done with Honda dealership. I would NOT recommend Honda to my friends, family, or anyone. Honda, you have lost me as a loyal customer. Wow! The team at Honda World is really skilled and knowledgeable! My car of 10 years had been giving me issues for quite some time and I knew it was time to go shopping for a new vehicle which can always be quite intimidating, especially when it's your first time buying from a dealer. Let me just start by saying that immediately after I arrived I was kindly greeted by a young lady who offered my family and I free tacos and beverages before we even said a word! Previously I had gone to another dealer and walked around for what seemed like 30 minutes and not once were we greeted. So off the bat I was already impressed with this team! My family and I thus began our search for our new family car and Angel D.L.C. was just so helpful and knowledgeable on what cars had what features and where exactly to find them. I had seen a few models that caught my attention but none that said, "that's me". Until I further explained to him what my dream car looked like. He was so quick to say, " I know exactly what you're looking for and we have one on the lot, I'll take you to see it!". Angel was patient beyond belief and as a first time buyer this made me feel at ease. He promptly then took us to the Honda he thought fell within my description and my god. He was DEAD ON, because the car he showed me was 100% the car of my dreams! Absolutely all the features I had mentioned were included and more!!! I was exhilarated! Needless to say I was ready to wrap up and go home. Then came the paperwork...Angel got us a number that worked for us and while we were crunching numbers my family was attended by all the lovely team with refreshments, snacks, and a comfortable warm place to sit. Simply a superb experience! Later we were transferred to the main man Mel C. who helped us close the deal but amid doing so went ABOVE and BEYOND to inform us on every single detail that if I had to take a test on all the jargon we learned that evening I'd pass with flying colors!!! It was a pleasure doing business with everyone at Honda world and when I need a new car again i will definitely be coming back. My service light came on so I booked an appointment to get my maintenance done. My tpm light came on as well. At the time I did not know what that meant, so once I show up to my appointment. My service advisor Carlos Villarreal introduced himself. I asked him on what that light meant, and he explained to me on how it worked and on how I can reset it myself. I had so many questions on how I can change the settings on my car and Carlos explained everything thoroughly. He gave me a promised time on when my vehicle would be done and boom! A man of his word. A service disaster. I scheduled an appointment on Wednesday to come in at 10:30 AM on Thursday (05/12) for my friends 2017 Honda Pilot who had a national recall on her vehicle for the hood latch striker. Me and my friends dad arrived at the dealership around 10:19 AM and dropped off the vehicle to service advisor Elizabeth Espejo and when I asked her how long it would take, she told me it would take 2-3 hours to perform the maintenance. On the recall letter, it said the maintenance would only take 45 minutes and an hour at the most if the hood needed to be replaced. So, I asked Elizabeth about the time frame and she told me that the letter was not accurate. So, I let her know that we would wait in the lobby. An hour and a half passed and my friends dad went outside to see if the vehicle was being serviced and he saw that the vehicle was just parked all the way back in the lot. So, when I went outside to check, Elizabeth came out and asked if she could help me with something and told me I couldn't be in that area because a lot of cars go in and out. Clearly, she did not want me to see that my friends vehicle was just parked for over an hour and a half past our appointment time. I asked Elizabeth to speak with a manager and she guided me into Daniel Gonzalez's office and rather than being apologetic or sympathetic about the situation he pointed to the service document and said the promised time is 1:19 PM and it's only 11:49AM as if me raising this concern to him as the service manager was a waste of time. He also compared the dealership to a doctors office and said something along the lines of "you don't see a doctor right away even if you have an appointment." I had mentioned to him that out of all the times I had a vehicle serviced this was the first time my vehicle was parked after bringing it in for service during my appointment and he said that there were a lot of customers in front of us and that he doesn't have enough technicians to be on standby for every vehicle that comes in. Realizing that I couldn't have a conversation with him I just asked him for his business card and left his office. I approached Elizabeth at her desk and asked her how much longer it could take and she told me I'm welcome to take my vehicle elsewhere but I do need to have the recall done. I asked her who is the person in charge and she replied "the general manager" and immediately said the GM was not there and when I asked for the GM's contact info, she told me she did not have it. How does a service advisor not have the contact information to her own GM? So, I asked who's the next person in charge and she told me the owner of the dealership and mentioned a name Mario. I called the main office and spoke with a girl named Nathalie and let her know the situation and she reassured me that she would have a manager call me back regarding the experience I had with the service department and I waited till today and did not receive one single phone call. Originally, I was going to do my friend a favor and bring her car in for the service but her dad who worked close by accompanied me during his work hours because he didn't want me to wait alone. Around 12:15-12:20 I asked Elizabeth to call a Lyft for my friends dad so he could return to work. Not too long after my friends dad was picked up, my friends vehicle was ready and I left the dealership around 12:30 PM. When I got to my friends dads workplace, we opened the hood to see what maintenance was done and saw that a small metal piece with 3 screws was replaced. We waited 2 hours with an appointment for a part that could literally be replaced in less than 5 minutes. Not once, did Elizabeth or Daniel apologize for the bad experience/service. When we first arrived at the lobby, we saw a lot of Hispanic customers waiting before us and after the hour and half passed, most of them left. We saw new customers in the lobby that came after us. We were the only Asians there and felt out of place and almost feels like we were waiting longer than we should have. Avoid this service department at all costs! read more

Essentially all the liquid that drains from the ac was leaking INTO my car, causing it to grow mold and smell. The part was ordered in mid-July 2021; we are now on October 2021, still with no carpet. They are now telling me via email they have inspected it and there's no bacterial growth and that I should come pick up my car.They also didn't know where my car was at one point... Like are you kidding me? So hard to get ahold of service reps and their manager to get updates too. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The people who work here are clearly overworked and don't have time to take safety seriously. read more
