I took my car in a few weeks ago for an oil change and quote for new brakes, and then took it back today to have the brake service performed. on both occasions Zeph helped address my concerns. during the oil change they performed a vehicle inspection and provided a link with images/videos of all the listed concerns triaged by most critical. it provided a lot of context and provided so much transparency on what was worked on or needed work; the link allowed me to share with my boyfriend (car owner) the findings as well. when i came to pickup the first time, Zeph gave me the run down on all the findings but one thing stuck with me: he said my air filter was dirty and could use a replacement, but added that i "have hands and can probably figure it out"; "i don't think i need to charge you to have me do it". and he is correct! that small exchange let me know my vehicle was in good hands. often times, especially as a woman, i have mechanics try to upsell me on small items that i can (and have) replaced on my own, or that weren't truly safety critical items. I visited several local auto repair shops, including Lexus of Cerritos, to fix the liftgate on my 2019 Lexus NX300, which wasn't working. Neither the remote control nor the power button could open it. Other shops suggested the problem might be with the shocks, motors, electrical wiring, or a combination of these. However, Zeph referred me to the relevant pages in the owner's manual that explained how to turn the PBD on if it was off. By following these instructions, I activated the PBD and was able to open the trunk using both the remote and the power button. My experience as a client was excellent--not only due to the technician's expertise, but also because of their customer-focused approach in helping to find solutions. Excellent customer service! I needed work done to my car because AAA broke my bumper so I googled the closest mechanic near me. I called them up and let them know my situation they allowed me to bring it in that day. AAA was basically stalling with my situation but Zack made sure to help me get a hold of them, he even went as far as calling them to make sure they paid me for the damages. This is a reply to the owner's response. I don't believe there was a misunderstanding. Especially since John claims that he looked over other issues on the car, but didn't write any of them down on the diagnostic receipt. My receipt has a one sentence statement on what is wrong, which is misspelled. Which is literally what we told them was wrong. There isn't an itemized list of issues found like most receipts, this includes from them back when Zack was in charge. I believe half of the "issues" that were mentioned over the phone and in-person are not real, but a thinly veiled attempt to swindle customers. If there were real problems, they would be documented on the receipt. I believe they refused to list them, because then they would be liable if a REAL mechanic looked over the car and found no issues. They are no longer the trustworthy, honest mechanic shop that Rick and Zack ran. read more

I found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did. I went there for a brake job for my SS Camaro. I knew it was going to be pricey, so I feel I didn't get ripped off. The customer service was excellent. When I picked up my car the next day, Rocky went over everything that was done and the warranty. The car was washed and looked better than when I dropped it off. I was recommended this company by a friend who has used them. My issue was minor, my AC was not blowing cold. So, I was hesitant to go there because it was about 30 miles from my home. I could have it addressed much closer. But, one day, I happened to be near there and decided to stop by. I met Zack and he told me that it could be as simple as needing more Gas or I could have a leak. Within minutes he had my car hooked up, was filling the AC Gas and inspecting it. He then showed me that I had a slow leak. He said he could fill it and it would work fine for a while but the hose needed to be changed. I ok'd the change of the hose and filling it up. Not long afterwards, it was blowing cold. It has been 3 years since that repair and it still blows very cold. I have since returned for other repairs to both this car as well as my other car. That 30 miles is not an issue as I have found a trust worthy mechanic who does great work at a great price. I will continue to use them and recommend that you do so as well. So my wife goes to a "tire store" who tells her that the brakes on her car are too low to be safe and try and pressure her into paying $1400 for repairs she didn't need. Awful customer service. Incompetent mechanics. Crooks!!! Would select ZERO stars!!! My dad is a repeat customer but since the shop is under new management the service has gone downhill. My dad recently had his vehicle repaired here and it was nothing but postponements, excuses and incompetence. He had his alternator repaired and somehow the incompetent mechanics damaged the radiator. It was a nightmare! My dad needed his car! The manager forced my dad to pay for radiator repairs or the shop would not work on his vehicle. Absolutely appalling business! A month later the radiator has started to leak again.
