On a Monday morning I emailed and got an response in a short time. We made a plan to meet that night for Laila to assess the "mess" and give me some ideas on next steps. Laila came in, asked questions about how the space would be used and provided options on what I could do. I admit the ideas were outside of what I had ever thought of, but as Laila explained WHY she was making the suggestions I saw the vision and decided what I had done 3 times previously hadn't worked so I put my trust in the expert. We set a time for Laila to come back to help me with the actual organizing and over the next week I prepared by getting the needed items so my space could be organized. Laila came in to a mess and together in 4 hours we made MAGIC happen. Always before I had 1 or more people help and the project took days! Laila is a dynamo and had a plan which got us through the process so quickly I couldn't believe it. I now have a place for every item and category of items (Hardware, crafts, entertainment, etc.). I sent her an email asking for help, but not expecting any response in such short notice. Not only did she call me back, but she was available and over at my house by 11:00 am. She was professional, agreeable, efficient, patient, completely independent, and really great at organizing! I felt like her prices were very reasonable. Another thing I liked about Laila was her straightforward communication style. In cases when I unknowingly asked for something unrealistic, she educated me about what to realistically expect from her services and offered good compromises. She has a very high standard for her work. I found her to be very trustworthy, discreet and polite. I welcomed having her in my house. She was also really good at interacting with our dogs. Her demeanor was calming to them. They quickly acclimated to having a stranger in the house, which is unusual. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because Yelp lists a five star rating as "as good as it gets" and I really have no other organizing experiences to compare with so I can't say this experience was "as good as it gets." I CAN say that I liked Laila and her service very much. I highly recommend her and I will ask her back.

Not because I had a use for the items. Some of the things had made multiple moves with me and were never unpacked! The backstory: I paid a moving service to pack and remove, then store my house so I could put it on the market to sell. The company did not do a good job at all. They were rough with delicate items and I ended up with broken glass, marble, and ceramic items along with stretched and torn artwork on canvases. Many things were broken beyond repair, and the storage looked like a junkyard when I opened it to retrieve some items I had asked not be packed. I couldn't even step inside the storage when I first opened it! Andre came to help and within a couple of hours everything was taken out of the storage and organized into different categories. He didn't ask many questions. I was happy to not be very involved in the initial removal of the items as it was almost traumatic to see the things I owned carelessly thrown on top of one another. It was such a relief to see everything packed back into the storage unit and taking up less than half the space that the movers had originally left completely full. If I would have known of Andre's service, I would've hired him to come in and help me before I hired the movers. That way all my important stuff would have been protected and cared for better. They weren't the cheapest company we used but they were by far the best and well worth the few extra dollars an hour for peace of mind. Though they do not guarantee coverage if a caregiver gets sick, they don't push someone who is sick to bring their germs in to your home (Yaye!) and they do their best to send a qualified replacement. One of our caregivers found that they had a flat tire before work and the company paid to Uber her to our house (no small distance). Who does that?! Every one they sent our way was careful and knowledgable. A great company to work with for in home care.
