We didn't quite hit that, but at no point did it feel like anyone was wasting time. The crew hustled the entire job. They listened to how I wanted to prioritize the move. We focused on large furniture first, got all the key items handled, then worked through the rest. Communication was constant. They asked questions, followed direction, and adjusted quickly without any pushback. The team was professional the whole time. No hesitation, even with heavy items or sending things upstairs. Everything was wrapped appropriately, not overdone, just done right. Nothing was damaged, and they were careful with walls and flooring throughout. We had discussed heavier items and drive time ahead of time, and everything was handled fairly. No surprises. I also compared pricing beforehand, and their rate of $199/hour (cash) plus the $60 truck fee was in line with what I was seeing. We ended up at about 3 hours 45 minutes total and paid $825, which felt great for the level of effort and coordination involved. Every move is different, but there were no surprises. Vladimir, Dima, Greg, and Aibek were a great team. They worked hard, communicated well, and stayed professional throughout. The company pushed for an in person estate sale DURING THE HEIGHT OF COVID in 2020. Almost no one came to the estate sale, so it only earned $400. However, they billed $3000 just expenses toward the estate sale, resulting in a loss of $2600. After my father passed they hounded me for payment (including additional charges to move his materials to his new home, which is reasonable). Of course, my father had dementia and had no ability to sign a contract, but not wanting this to have this drag on I paid to leave this behind so I could grieve. This business claims to provide compassionate service for the elderly, but our experience showed otherwise. They exploited my father's situation, pushing unnecessary services onto him and charging exorbitant fees, all while providing negligible results. They failed to respect my family's needs and showed no accountability for their actions. If you are looking for a service that genuinely cares about its clients, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. SHAME ON JAMI SHAPIRO THE FOUNDER. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND DISHONEST AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR LOVED ONES. Update: I'm sharing a disparaging remark that Jami made about me when I reviewed her service with the better business bureau. She knows nothing of the situation in our family, the sacrifices we made in our family, the hardships that I endured to care for my father. Hire her team if you want someone who makes nasty comments like this after your loved one passes away. None of this changes the fact that: 1) My father had major neuro-cognitive disorder when he signed a contract with this company, 2) The "estate sale" they encouraged was against his financial interest. 3) When my father passed they threatened to take the estate to small claims court when I questioned the legitimacy of the estate sale that only racked up expenses. I paid for her services in full so that we could grieve but we never forgot how they took advantage of us in our grief. This is textbook elder abuse, which is why I am reviewing and rating her company to warn others of this practice. Update: Jami continues to lie in her review. "Arranged for the sale of the car" this is something I did alone as I held power of attorney. I agree that she provided necessary moving services, which we were happy to pay for, that is not in dispute. We thank her company for this. The dispute is over holding an estate sale that earned very little in revenue insufficient to offset the costs of estate sale, and then threatening (very quickly, when I asked any clarifying information about the bill) to take us to small claims court so shortly after my father's move and his passing. That is not compassionate care. This could have all been prevented had her team donated my father's possessions rather than held an estate sale. Furthermore, her condescending remarks towards me reveals plenty about how she thinks of her customers.

I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

I'm very aware I'm not the easiest of clients, and I've been through a few other organizers who just didn't cut it. Andre has the calm, the drive, and the vision to lead me through the process without stress or anxiety. It's always so fun and productive the days he is here. He was also very flexible about the date of the demo as we wanted to schedule it for two weeks out, rather than doing it immediately. 4) Luis and his crew arrived right on time the day of and completed everything within about 4.5 hours. They brought their own portable toilet and were very efficient and tidy. They even swept up any sawdust left over and hauled everything away. A few months back I came home to a flooded house. Apparently we had a slab leak and the damage…read moreruined the beautiful custom flooring and baseboards I had in my downstairs. After calling the flood crew and while having the house re-piped, I started calling around to find a flooring company who could help install all new flooring. Of all the contractors I called, Gabriel Herrera the owner of GH Luxury Floors was the first to answer and tell me he would help me. Not only did Gabe spend however much time I needed to explain things to me, he also came out late that same evening to look the job over. Within a couple of weeks he had ordered the same exact flooring (Thank God ) as we had before and that I still have throughout the upstairs of my house. I was very fortunate to find Gabriel. He promised me they wouldn't drag the job out and they didn't. His crew was also very punctual and polite and they always cleaned up after themselves after each days work so we could still move around our downstairs freely. Another thing that impressed me was how precise he and his crew were at putting every piece of furniture back exactly where it was before they cleared the room to install the flooring. As for the finished job, it looked better than it did originally. Everything lined up well with the flooring and the baseboards looked like one smooth piece of wood flowing through the downstairs. Not only does he work wonders on our carpets, but these past couple of days, he stepped in as a true hero when our furry family member had an unexpected health issue. Jason's extraordinary compassion, quick response, and genuine care transformed a challenging situation into an incredibly heartwarming experience. When my husband reached out to Jason, without hesitation, he rearranged his busy schedule to come to our rescue. We were not only worried about the stains and odors but also concerned about the safety of my elderly mother, as the buckling of the floor had become a safety issue, as there was just too much pee in the carpet padding that affected the underlying hardwood floors. As soon as Jason arrived, his warm smile and comforting presence instantly put us at ease. He understood the distress it caused and reassured us that everything would be taken care of. He then got right to work by skillfully pulling up the carpet, replacing the padding, and diligently fixing the buckling problem. The transformation was truly remarkable. Not only did Jason make the carpets look beautiful, but he also ensured a secure and stable flooring surface. The peace of mind it brought us, especially in regard to my mother's safety, cannot be overstated. He went above and beyond, treating and cleaning the affected areas. Paint is chipping off everywhere. Owner bailed on project and left it to subs. Nice guy. Don't be fooled. This is not a company you can count on. Do not pay with checks or cash. You will have no recourse. Hold 50% before you sign off. I should have gone with CertaPro. Their bid was the same price and they have license, bond and company to back up the work.

My parents were empty nesters, and childhood bedrooms had turned into storage units for endless amounts of clothing, and other items that had accumulated over the years. Denikka & Joshua Maly were energetic, and delightful to work with. They worked non-stop for 2 days, 8 hours each day, to help donate, dispose of and organize pretty much every item. It's not something I could have done by myself without taking a month off of work. They helped me go through an enormous amount of clothing, furniture, and old knickknacks, and sorted things into piles that were easy to keep track of. They also packed up some old china with great care and expertise. They even scheduled the local charity for a pickup! They were supportive, considerate, patient and fun throughout the entire time. At the end of it all, the formerly scary-cluttered house was perfectly organized. Old beds were broken down into mattresses and disassembled frames. We had many, many big garbage bags full of items - some for the landfill, some full of clothes to donate - a great deal of flattened cardboard, and all the old furniture cleaned and polished, gleaming, for the local charity. Yes, Denikka & Joshua not only emptied all those old dressers and shelves, ** they polished them. ** My only regret is that I can't give them ten stars. D-Clutter gets my highest recommendation.
