    Texas Tab (left), Shark Attack (right)
    Sam J.

    The grand opening had crazy long lines so it's safe to say people love their dirty sodas! My wife and I however tried 3 different kinds and weren't super impressed. We tried the Shark Attack - sprite, blue raspberry, vanilla, and a gummy shark - it didn't come with the gummy and had a weird after taste. Spring Fling and Texas Tab were both okay, but the coconut gives it a flavor of sunscreen/perfume-esque. All of our drinks came sort of watered down as well with very little ice that seemed halfway melted at the top. They honestly made me feel a little sick due to the strong syrups! There's so many other kinds though, I would go back to try the flavored lemonades or another soda without the coconut. The staff was also nice and efficient. I'd recommend, with this place being so new/having longer lines, to review the menu BEFORE you get in line. They also take your order in the newer Chick-fil-a style (staffers outside), and I believe before you get to the physical menu (if there even is one). Just think this will lend people to a better experience.

    I haven't been to a World Market in years... stopped in today to check it out…read more I always loved seeing the exotic and unique foods from around the world. Prices are a bit on the high side but understandable since they have to import these exotic things from around the world. Left empty handed because I wasn't going to spend $6 on a piece of candy my kids would gobble up in one bite. Lots of fun home items. Reminds me of an expensive HomeGoods. No interaction with employees.

But when we got to the entrance saw that the store closes at 6pm on sundays. Didn't realize it was already 6pm as we had just finished a late lunch at BB's Tex orleans next door, done some shopping at Barnes and nobles in the same strip mall and then headed to world market for the wine, trying to park close to the entrance Seeing they were closed we were turning to leave & my sister In law said there's a person inside saying something to us, we could not hear her so we stopped to see what she was saying but still couldn't hear her. This person (if I give a factual description woke yelp will Delete my review again) then stomped forward in rage .... Finally reading her lips we understood that she was saying that "we are F***ing closed" and she comes by the store hours sign behind the glass wall wildly gesticulating at the hours, rolling her eyes and throwing a fit. I wonder what was the need for this drama when we were leaving anyway???

Their location is a little tricky if you are not familiar with this location. On the side strip where their signage is is misleading trying to locate the place. I almost did not find it. I drove the entire strip based on where their sign is located. I almost gave up on locating the store. Then my intuition said(go around to the other side of the building and lo and behold there it sits. On the backside of the shopping strip, several feet away from their signage. That is my only strike. Back to the inside of Spec's. It is a busy location; they were well staffed to assist customers, especially for a first timer as myself. I went in with intentions to buy Tellamore D.E.W. with honey. A friend shared some with me and I liked it. It has a cute Irish Wolfhound on the label. The label is yellow and stands out. The taste is very smooth. I asked Devin, an associate, where may I find it and he happily directed me to it. We were talking and he mentioned another brand that is way more favorable with liqueur honey. So what did I do? I went with the brand he suggested. The Whistler, Irish whiskey and honey. It was also on sale, even better. As a matter of fact let me open it now to give my feedback on the taste and if it is smooth. BRB My verdic is in! The honey liqueur flavor love it, but it is not smooth. It has a slight burning effect. I will save this bottle to share, but will go to Spec's on my side of town for Tullamore D.E.W. And there you have. SYOY }:{

    SO EXCITED Pearland has an HTeaO!…read more This place is brand new and CLEAN! (The floor isn't super sticky -yet- like the one in Webster). We love sampling all the tea flavors before deciding on our usual (either decaf unsweetened blueberry or decaf unsweetened regular). The Arnold Palmer is incredible but we can't bring ourselves to drink more than the shot-glass sampling cup due to the sugar. There is a sweet Zero tea but it's sweetened with Erythritol which upsets our tummies. The guy at the register was SO FRIENDLY. He thought he recognized me but it was my first time. Suggested they open another location in Pearland near 288. Come during their happy hour 2-4pm for 1/2 price teas.

    I was disappointed with my recent and first visit to the new Pearland HTeaO…read more I had just picked up lunch from Big Horn. As I ordered my food at Big Horn I started to have a taste for iced tea. I had plenty of drinks at home so I decided to save myself $2.50 by not getting a tea. My craving for iced tea continued to grow as I drove home. I looked at my clock, it was 1:54 and I realized HTeaO's 1/2 price happy hour was about to start! I drove passed my house and onward to the new Pearland HTeaO. A perfect excuse to try out the new location. I arrived a little after 2. The sign out front read 1/2 off drinks, 2-4. Yay! There wasn't a line at all. I was a little surprised but relieved that I wasn't going to have to wait in a long line. I ordered an unsweet coconut and unsweet mint tea. They announced my total, $3 dollars and 70 something cents. What? I shrugged it off and assumed they had it wrong or maybe I was there too early and their systems hadn't updated yet. I get to the window. A young lady kindly complimented me on my eyeglasses and again repeated the high total to me. Still perplexed but having gone out of my way to buy the tea I handed her my debit card. She handed me my tea. I started to drive off but then I honked my horn and had to ask them why I hadn't received the happy hour 1/2 off price. Another young lady came to the window, apologized and said "oh it's buy one get one free. We're sorry we should've told you." 1. I get that BOGO is the same as 1/2 off but I've always seen BOGO advertised as BOGO, not as 1/2 off. When something is half off it's 1/2 off. 2. They didn't offer or ask me about ordering a second drink. If that's the deal, I shouldve been asked what I wanted for my second drink. The special should've at least been offered to me. Maybe I'm tripping. I could've swore HTeaO was used to truly be 1/2 off. I hadn't been in a while so maybe it changed to BOGO since my last visit. At any rate, I was disappointed with the bait and switch. Why not just advertise as BOGO instead of 1/2 off to ensure you don't confuse or upset your customers? To make things worse, the tea wasn't very good and I only ended up drinking a few sips of it. The coconut flavor tasted sweet although I had ordered unsweet coconut and unsweet mint. It was a letdown. Two stars to this location instead of one since the young lady complimented my glasses but more of a 1 star experience overall and a waste of time. I very likely will not return.
