With that said, if I enjoyed dirty sodas, this place was very affordable and had extremely friendly staff. Swig has the drinks down -- no complaints there. My kid was all smiles with theirs, and I'll admit mine hit the spot too. But the experience getting it? Not so sweet. The line was insanely long, like Disney-level long, and for some reason the lobby was locked up tight on a weekend. No sign, no explanation, just a drive-thru marathon. I've been eyeing Swig ever since it opened and was very eager to try it! Tiktok had already gotten me on the 'dirty soda' kick, so I figured I may as well try it at the place where it's made a name for itself. I'll get my one and only gripe out of the way first, and that is the location. I don't know whose idea it was to cram it in the middle of a busy Chili's, medical center and Walmart... It is a bit anxiety-inducing just to get in the drive thru, and their space is tight - I could not imagine coming here on a busy day. They did have someone outside though, Chick-Fil-A style, taking orders so it seems like they are trying to be as quick and efficient as possible. Their menu is pretty extensive!! Sooo many drink combinations - I highly recommend checking online what you want beforehand so you don't feel overwhelmed at the menu while in the drive-thru. They do have snacks too, but I just tried a drink on my first visit. I thought I would stick with something classic and go with the Texas Tab - Dr. Pepper, coconut cream and vanilla. It was amazing! I was also surprised with how cheap the drinks are for the size you get. I really hope they open more Swig locations in other parts of Louisville! I've been obsessing over "dirty" sodas ever since I tried one a couple of months ago. I don't live locally but was in town for work and decided to try Swig. I got the "Dirty Little Secret" which is Dr. Pepper, pineapple, coconut and vanilla cream. It was an excellent Dr. P with the best kind of crunchy ice!! I would have liked it a little heavier on the "dirty" side but I probably just needed to go the create your own route and could have gotten a little extra add ons. I thought the prices were good too. Only downside was the location was tricky to figure out how to get into, especially the drive thru, when you aren't familiar with the area. But definitely worth trying out if you haven't!! read more

I fell in love with this place while visiting Utah. My go to is the Texas tab. However, their pretzel with the white cheddar cheese is so addictive-way better tasting than Auntie Anne's. This is the first soda barista drive through in Louisville. I went to both their soft and grand opening and the service has been 100% super friendly and warm. I can't wait to see what their lobby looks like and for the stickers once they have settled. This is located by Audobon hospital. What a great way for nurses to get a soda hit for their shifts as well. read more

I love dirty sodas! The line is usually long for the drive thru and the lobby hasn't been open. They have outside order takers working the line back so it moves quickly. My longest experience was 45 minutes when the line was backed up to the turn lane on Popular in front of to Taco Bell. We have tried different drinks, pretzel bites( with both the warm white cheddar and cold strawberry cream cheese), sugar cookie and mini chocolate chip cookies, all were great! I love this place! The drinks are delish and the service is so friendly! Whoever is training these kids is doing a GREAT job--they are super pleasant & attentive and my order has always been accurate! The location is not super convenient for me but I will drive out of my way to visit. I highly recommend any drink that has coconut cream in it! read more

Horrible site plan/drive thru experience. Signs all over saying "do not enter" cars blocking traffic going in and out of the place. I'm surprised Chili's hasn't filed a lawsuit as Swig must be impacting their business. Oh, don't turn left when you leave the drive thru lane... literally a dead end... when you turn around, you'll be back in line for the drive thru. Plus, the prices are totally reasonable, which makes it way too easy to keep coming back. The only downside? The location. It's kind of a pain to get to. this place is great. i got a handle of vodla in my backseat so i always have something to mix when i drive through. there is nothing on the menu that isnt better with titos. on a good sunny day when the line is 45 mins i can finish my first round and be ready for a freshy when i come back through the line. read more
