What an awful business concept, expensive sugary drinks, unhealthy and not even tasty.

They took very long to take orders and when they did the were very unprofessional and did not have any sort of patience with the costumer.

We loved this restaurant! I normally take pictures and totally dropped the ball and forgot but…read morethere are already plenty of pictures already on Yelp. It really feels like you are not even in DFW. Probably the best water/lake patio that I know of in the greater Dallas area. you do want to try to get the tables right on the railing. The further in you are the less exciting the view and the view is really the best part. I would say the service was also really good. The people were really nice and we wanted to sit outside and they found a way to make that work even though it took a little effort because it was busy on a nice day.

If we could give negative stars we would. The only good…read morething about this place is the view. Service was terrible, food overpriced and way over cooked. The server whose name we don't know because he was super rude and walked away before we could ask or say anything. Took my menu away and went to next person while I was mid sentence trying to order. Then completely disregarded my daughter's request and brought her something completely different. Took over 30 minutes just to come to take the order and no the restaurant was not busy and we were actually one of only five tables in the place. Never came back after food was delivered, and had the audacity to charge 30% extra on our bill! This was a graduation lunch for our daughter and it was just horrible.

El Primo Taqueria in McKinney is excellent! I can't believe we haven't tried this place before…read more(they are about to celebrate 24 years). We were looking for somewhere to eat and saw a bunch of cars in their parking lot and decided to try it - a very good move. They are a in a modest setting (classic Taqueria), but the food was fantastic. We ordered a tacos of al pastor & lengua, 4 birria tacos, 3 gorditas - 2 of lengua and one of chorizo, along with a chile toreado and 2 Topo Chicos. The had a mild green sauce and a spicier orange sauce along with a bowl of pickled jalapenos, carrots and onions on the table (see photos). While the tacos were good, what really stood out were the gorditas - they may be the best ones I have ever had. They almost looked like they were grilled but they were fried they were not fooling around - just onions, cilantro, & the meat that you picked inside. Outstanding! (I later find out that they make their own chorizo). The birria - queso tacos were also excellent, but the consume (dipping sauce) was fantastic. It had a bit of onions and cilantro, and it was just a little bit spicy - not greasy at all. Value wise, this place rocked. The tacos were $2.19, birria sold in either 3 ($9.99) or 4 ($12.99). The gorditas were also sold 3 at a time for $9.59 or $10.99 depending on your meat selection. The service was also great! We dined in and they brought menus and took our orders and asked us several times if we needed anything. This place also has a Mexican Market and Butcher shop where they make their own chorizo, milanesa's, and cecina. The quality of the meat looked very good so we bought a couple of pounds to try it. If you like authentic Mexican Taquerias, you need to give El Primo a try.

First time I've tried these pretzels. 4 pm on a Wednesday…read more Young lady at register didn't greet us with a smile or a how may I help you. Just stood there till we said what we want. They were making dough and pretzels, Asian girl, young man with big hair and young lady with purple hair, no one had a hairnets on or gloves. Counters were dirty with caked dough, with half a dough sat under some wax paper that looked like it had been there for some time. also no one had on a uniform or a shirt that said auntie ems. No one was friendly, they all looked mad and gave the customers coming in side eye looks. There was a girl with a scarf around her head and it was dragging all over everything. As she went around trying to look like she was doing something but actually did nothing but spread germs from the front counter to the register to where the make the dough. Nasty! Very unsanitary place and it looks like it when you walk in. You expect the smell of fresh dough baking , instead it smelled like rancid dough left out too long. Final note, the regular salted pretzel I got was not cooked all the was through, still cold in the center and had the texture of uncooked dough. I will not be coming back for a second try.
