This new mini golf place is such a vibe! We were here on a Friday night around 7:30 and made it just before the rush hour before the lines got long for golf. We had made reservations in advance for the "Full Swing" experience priced at $49pp before tax. It came with a round of 9 hole golf, 30mins Carnival card with unlimited play (arcades), and a $35 food & drinks credit. This was a great deal because it covered some of the food. They have a dj spinning all the throwback hits. You can grab your drinks at the bar and proceed to play. We went for golf first, the 9-hole took around an hour. We were 4 people and we had loads of fun! With the game, drinks and music, a time was had! We next decided to go for food. The service was slow, but our server was chatty. They have your usual burgers, fries and pizzas. Now at a place like this, I don't expect much, but the food really blew us away. It was delicious. Definitely get the Zia fries to share! We got a mix of burgers and pizzas, everything tasted phenomenal. We then closed our tabs with our server and there was a mix up with the package we had bought and the credits we were supposed to have. The front desk was kind enough to fix the bill. I'm hoping it's because they're new.. and we're busy. We ended the night with the 30mins of unlimited play. By this hour, the arcade was very busy and it was a long wait for the fun games. You win points in your 30mins, then redeem them at claw machines for stuffed bears. None of us won the stuffed bears.. the claw machines seemed rigged :( They should definitely look at redeeming points for guaranteed rewards. Next time I'll start with the arcade so I can enjoy playing without the wait. 10/10, the concept, the vines, the food.. everything was on point! I'll definitely be back!! Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the hype. We spent the majority of our visit waiting around rather than actually playing mini golf, which made the outing feel more frustrating than fun. The ambiance was genuinely nice and offered a unique vibe compared to other mini golf spots in the area. Credit where it's due. However, the drinks were a major letdown. For Boston cocktail prices, we expected quality, but what we got tasted like watered-down juice. Hard to justify the cost. Closer to 3.5/5 but I rounded up. I visited when they first opened and we booked a reservation for Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm. We purchased the Full Swing package for $122 including tip. The package covered 9 holes of mini golf, carnival card, and $70 food credit all covering 2 people. I am not sure if tip is included by default or if it's fees but weird that you can pre-add it before any services were delivered then of course they will prompt you to tip again on site. For the sake of not forgetting it's probably best to just wait until you're in person... I'm fairly certain we ended up double tipping. We each ordered a mocktail at the bar so we tried both. They were tasty and nearly as expensive as main drinks. There's no easy parking nearby unless you want to pay a lot at the prudential garage which we relented to give that it was raining. Upon checking in they will give you a mini golf score sheet. The bottle neck for the mini golf course is waiting your turn. They do have servers who will take your drink orders but it was painful and we saw many people bail after doing the first hole. Each hole gives you the opportunity to get the gold path which will give you a hole in one. Sadly I did not achieve it. The course was fun but also annoying there's always another group breathing down your neck. After the mini golf we headed upstairs for the 30 minute free play at the arcade. They had some fun games and your typical skee ball, ticket carousel, water shooting and horse race games. The countdown timer starts immediately after you tap your card so I would not recommend doing this if you are waiting for food or golf since you may have to leave. You earn tickets for level of success for the games. My SO won most of the rounds of the water shooting race so that was an easy 100 tickets. Then there was the ticket carousel which you could get one to try and get the bundles but your card will be locked as it's counting the total slowly. Once your timer runs out you can use your tickets for the CHANCE to use the claw machine to get either merchandise or teddy bears. That can be a bit aggravating since you're not guaranteed a prize and each attempt is 100 tickets. Somehow me and SO managed to get a small bear and the large one after using up all the attempts. By 6pm the atmosphere changed and the DJ started to play music much louder. They dimmed the lights so we decided to order our burgers to go to use up the food credit. Adding $6 for bacon on burger is downright criminal... the burgers were fine for what they were. Overall it's a fun venue to meet with friends but be prepared to spend quite a lot of $ for the experience. Not sure about the replay ability I did notice they had a separate course upstairs. read more

We had an awesome time at The Swing in Back Bay. It's a great all-around spot -- perfect for date night, girls' night, or even a fun night out with friends. The bar, arcade and mini golf make it a really unique place to hang out, and the snacks and Thai appetizers were surprisingly good. I wouldn't necessarily call it a full dinner spot, but definitely a great place to grab drinks, share some food, and have fun. The DJ also really brought the energy toward the end of the night which made the vibe even better. Only thing I could see is that the golf areas might get a little crowded if the timing isn't managed well -- but overall a really fun spot in Back Bay. Would definitely go back. read more

pretty cool place! The arcade area smelled like fresh cut flowers, it was wonderful. The place is drink-intensive, but the lychee martini and the slushees were phenomenal. The mini golf flow was good, but we were often waiting a lot. There was not a wide walkway or anything, it is somewhat cramped. Drinks are also served on the course. The pizza was decent, the fries were reminiscent of frozen fries, I don't know if they were fresh or not. -1 star because the coat check line alone took a solid 10 minutes, on top of the whole mini golf thing being a line, and it was loud enough I wish I brought earplugs. The casino area gives you 30 minutes to play, but there were even lines for the games. A decent amount of the games had an API out of order message or pieces got stuck. read more

I am so happy that Boston has a place to do FUN activities that DOES NOT require drinking or standing around at a bar! There is quite a few things to do here - a carnival arcade, mini golf, photo frame gallery (we took a while looking at each of them lol), and photo ops! The carnival arcade was actually so fun and I like that you only need to pay $10 for 1 card with unlimited plays for 30 minutes! There were 5 of us and we shared one card and we played a lot of games, that is such a good deal! We got quite a few tickets which lets you take turns on the claw machine... but the claw machines were so rigged :((( The claws were so weak we had about 10 tries and the claw kept dropping our prize. I had a great experience a Swingers but definitely could tell that the place was newer and had some kinks work out! There was some confusion surrounding our tee time and our table was cleared before we were done eating. We stepped away for golf, but were originally told we could keep the food on the table. The service was also on the slower side. However!! The interior is absolutely massive and really well decorated. The food / drink was all so so delicious. My favorite bites were the wings, Caesar salad and pizza! I also really enjoyed the arcade games as well. We had 30 mins of free play so it was nice that we didn't need to worry about buying tokens! I wish I could give this place a better rating, but there were too many let downs and disappointments. We went to Swingers for our first time Saturday night. They have only been open for a couple weeks so I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with these things. First, the golf. This was pretty fun and they do a good job with it. You have to wait a little bit as you get to later holes, but they have service while you are waiting for drinks which is nice. The golf was great. The bar and kitchen? Not so great. Getting drinks too quite some time. I'm okay with a wait. We ordered two burgers, one was their double patty, the other was their regular burger with no pickles. First the no pickles came out after 40 minutes waiting cold and with pickles. We asked for a warm one with no pickles. Then about half hour later, another burger came out which was bbq and not double patty, so we sent that back. Maybe another 30 minutes and my double patty came, but we never got the single no pickles. The waitress came and said the kitchen was a mess and she didn't know what a happened. She said she would comp the meal (which I pre paid for anyways). When I asked if the other burger was coming she said no. No solution and we shared my burger. The carnival is fun and a good addition. The only issue is you win tickets to then use on a claw machine that only had one stuffed animal prize. Was fun but not worth the prize for sure. The place itself has a cool vibe to it and the mini golf courses looked amazing. We had drinks in one of the bars and the sangria was really good - but they are pricey. I had a lot of fun here! The space is really nice and clean. There are TONS of employees here and each one was friendly and helpful. Each round of mini golf is 9 holes. I found the holes to be fun and a suitable level of challenge. We went at 4PM on a Sunday and had the course all to ourselves. It did get busier later in the evening. Came here during opening weekend and went to get food first. Our server Gisele was kind and attentive. The loaded fries, moz sticks, and burger with pretzel bun was delicious. Loved their personal Guinness glasses with a split the S for swingers. The courses were super fun and loved the carnival card included with our reservation. Excited to come here again. read more

However, felt it was not enough time to get to play more games. Once you are all done with the games. You have the obstacle to get over to get your prize. Let me tell you the claw machine is not really a fair way to go about it. The directions were not clear. Did not her to leave with a prize. It was Difficult to find staff to ask questions and when we ask, some were not familiar. Drinks was expensive and had nothing special about them. Did not get to eat the food. Which was by choice due to how pricy the drinks were to begin with. Worth giving a shot to see for yourself. But i am Not sure I'll be returning. read more

This is a new entertainment spot that just opened in Boston, and we had such a fun experience here with my friend! It's a 21+ indoor mini golf, arcade, and bar experience. We paid $25pp for the basic package which included 9-holes of mini golf and 30 minutes of unlimited arcade games. It was a ton of fun, and the staff was so friendly. There is also a restaurant and bar area which we didn't try this time but will try next time. The theme of the mini golf is floral and the holes are more intermediate which I enjoyed. Same with the arcade. Just overall amazing experience and I highly recommend this for adults looking for some fun! read more

What a great venue, we came here opening night and let me tell you this place was ready!! Greeted at every turn and someone always happy to help us. Each floor had a fun, bright, happy vibe. The course we did was super fun and creative. It was just the right amount of time to golf. Despite how busy they were, I didn't feel like we waited around too long once we started to golf. We sat down for food after and the waffle fries for fire! We saw a table down the way from us order an interesting looking tea drink so of course we said yes please we want this! I recently visited and unfortunately the experience was pretty mixed. It seems like the place is still working out some kinks. Our friends ordered pizza and waited over an hour for it, which was frustrating. The bar service was also very slow -- at one point the bartender was looking at the menu to figure out how to make drinks, and the wait for drinks was quite long. They even forgot my friend's drink entirely. To make matters worse, another friend found a bottle cap in her drink. The venue was also very crowded, and there were long wait times to play golf. That said, the music was fun and the atmosphere had potential. If the service and timing issues get worked out, it could be a really great spot. Place is large but still felt packed. They should cut back on capacity to make it a more enjoyable experience. Atmosphere is overstimulating. Music is SO loud you cannot hear a word anyone is saying. They have some obnoxious rose smelling scent being piped through the entire place and it is unnecessary and horrible. Line to retrieve our coat from the coat check was 25 minutes - never seen anything so absurd. The carnival games are super fun but the only prizes are swingers branded bears and hats. Lame. Went to swingers for the first time tonight. This place has a great atmosphere and excellent staff. The golf game was quite fun and much better than Puttshack which was far too quick and easy. Some of the holes here were actually challenging! They also have a great arcade area with passes that allow a set amount of time for unlimited play and plenty of games for two or more people to compete playing. We didn't have food on this visit but the restaurant areas looked very welcoming and the menu looked good for this type of venue. read more

Avoid this shameless money grabbing place at all costs! I went on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 with my kids-24, 23 and 19, and we were not allowed to enter the establishment because my son is 19, I was however able to have my credit card charged $125 when making my reservation, which I cannot get refunded despite numerous email attempts and a voicemail (no human would answer naturally) that's been ignored. We came in from Lowell thinking that we had a fun day planned, but left $125 lighter and hungry to boot because you're not allowed to eat at Emmy squared either, unless you're 21. Apparently playing mini golf and eating pizza is the exclusive right of drunks only. I should have known with the creepy pun-ny name of the place. I would put negative stars is possible. read more

It was good until the absurdly rude bartender made my experience horrible. First, it seemed like it was his first day there so I was very patient with the bartender. When he came over to me I asked if I could order with him and he rolled his eyes and asked the group next to me what they would like to drink. I was very confused and disappointed especially as he continued to make rude remarks to me and my party as we stood in the back confused on the situation. I like the vibe. There are two golf areas, two bars, and an arcade. They will serve you drinks when you're golfing. The drinks were good. It gets pretty busy, so expect that if you're going on a weekend. The arcade is busy, but we always found something open. I would go again. read more
