Bubble bath is an idellic place to start the evening; great bar with a champagne theme and delicious lobster rolls and fries. We had a great Pierre Peter's champagne from le Mesnil pure blanc de blanc. Great view of Boston and situated at the very end of Newbury Street. Not the easiest place to find but a very cool Citizen M building. Service was simply excellent and our Sommelier was very knowledgeable.

Absolutely love the ambiance. The outdoor seating has great views of the city. It's also so nice that they offer blankets to use so that you can be cozy!! The drinks are on the pricier side , around $20 and they're decent but not amazing. Definitely paying for the ambiance but is well worth it. Service is great, we had some requests for drinks that weren't on the menu and they were very accommodating! Wanted to go another night again but it was too busy. Would love to go back!

Nothing says 'happy birthday' like being told 'the exit is that way We had a reservation for my friend's birthday celebration and were genuinely excited to try out this "new" rooftop. The birthday girl arrived on time, and the rest of us followed shortly after. Our server greeted us promptly, we ordered drinks and a few small plates. Just a note, if you're hungry, this is not the place for you. The food here is very limited and very much tapas-style, literal finger food. The trouble began when it was time to pay (well, technically, it started when the first unexpected mini portion plate arrived). Our bill was just over $299 and we asked to split it five ways. Instead of dividing evenly, one friend was charged around $70 plus tip, and another was charged $277+. I noticed the mistake and told the server about it. Our server admitted he didn't know what happened, panicked, and left to get his manager. He came back and stated that he didn't know he had to continue pressing the button so that the bill can continue splitting, that made no sense. That's when "General Manager" Aaron magically appeared and things quickly went downhill. From the moment he arrived, he had an attitude, visibly annoyed that we were questioning the charges. He insisted that nothing had been charged (which was a lie, since the pending charges were already showing on our cards). He then re-ran the transactions, but when we asked for receipts, he told us we'd need to wait 20+ minutes because he had "over 2000 transactions" to go through. Extremely rude and zero etiquette. We explained we weren't leaving without proof of refund, so eventually Aaron came back with his laptop, slammed it down on our table, and said the receipts didn't print so he would "just text them." Completely unprofessional. When one of us calmly tried to express how discouraging and unpleasant this whole experience had been, Aaron cut her off, pointed at the door, and said, "The exit is that way, have a good night." For a rooftop bar that markets itself as chic and upscale, this was hands down one of the worst experiences I've ever had in any restaurant (and I've had my share). Between the tiny food portions (which is fine if the food was good), sloppy billing mistakes, ice cubes in my drink that kept hitting me in the face (hard to drink), and the outright rude treatment from management, lacked basic hospitality. I'm a firm believer that if you're in a field where customer service is what drives your business, you need to try a little harder. A night that was supposed to be a celebration of life left a sour taste in our mouths. Definitely not the experience portrayed in their pictures and videos. Lots of potential here, but not while it's being run into the ground.

rooftop bars are few and far between and boston so was super excited to try this new spot. Hidden at the top of the Citizen M hotel, Bubble Bath was a bit quiet on a Friday night. I loved the ambiance - pink, cutesy, modern bubbly decor that makes a great spot for a girls night out. The view is fantastic, you can even get a great view from the bathrooms that are also fun and festive with disco balls! We sat at the bar and ordered off the cocktail menu (which is a bit on the expensive side but nothing unusual for a rooftop boston spot). I had the bloom which had a nice smooth light flavor. Service was good!

Food is amazing here. Got caviar and the tuna nicoise. The view is incredible. The service was quite slow and had to follow up a few times during the dinner on items that were missed. Overall great experience and would go back simply for the stunning view!

I absolutely love this new rooftop bar! Located on the 14th floor of CitizensM Back Bay, this spot has both indoor and outdoor seating options. The interior is stunning and great for a classy special occasion. The outside area is also adorable, just a bit more casual. The views of the Charles and surrounding back bay area are top notch. I believe bubble baths specialties are champagne and hot dogs. I got the sparking rose and really liked it! I also tried the memory cocktail which was good as well. Overall such a fun spot, I'll definitely be coming back!

The only worthwhile sight is the view but not until you get past the bouncer - I mean host. I arrived here today around 10 PM announcing to the host that I already had a table seated and had asked if I could take a lap around. While he didn't refuse, he asked if there was a reservation or how many people was in that party. I wasn't too sure so I resulted in calling my friend and she said she was right around the host stand behind the wall and when I explained it to her that I wasn't able to get through, she came around to the front and let us in. The salt and vinegar fries were a meager serving but a mighty price of $13. The cheapest drink you'll find there costs $17, $2 well above the average price you'll see for a cocktail in Boston and while I can commend Bubble Bath for their unique drink menu, I won't be a regular there.

Well obviously you can't go wrong because of the view. Definitely get there before 5 if you even want a chance on the patio but still was great inside. Service was slow. Drinks and food were yummy and fun!

    memoir cocktail

I've found a new favorite cocktail spot. The memoir is my new go to drink. The space is also beautiful, the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Aaron and Sterling especially were great and added a lot of positivity to my experience.

My plus one and I arrived shortly before 7 PM and there was already a line out The Castle at the Park Plaza. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient in checking IDs and getting everyone in. The layout was spectacular - they really utilized the space to their advantage. So many different wine samplings from all around the world. I particularly liked the vendors who were knowledgeable and either worked for the company or did their research ahead of time. It was much more enjoyable to ask questions and learn something than just be poured a sample by someone who had no idea what the wine was. Perhaps focus on that for next time? I loved all the free swag and the interactive App that went along with the night. My only other qualm would be that there were no real little food samples to cleanse your palette with (or keep some people from getting too drunk). There was food for purchase but even some crackers or pretzels to shake things up a bit would have been nice. With that said, I enjoyed my cheese and cracker plate (but it was $5). Great location, great staff, tons of samples, and lots to do! Thanks Yelp for the free tickets! It made this girl feel special.

There is so many types of wines and I tried using the wine riot app but it's just a hassle when it crashes so i've resorted to just taking pictures of the wines I enjoy. They also have a ton of food samples towards the left when you go inside the castle. Free tattoos! Free pics that can be posted to twitter! Do those things first if you don't like waiting in line. There are also food stands inside as well, towards the front where you enter. My favorite table is always the cheese table...mmmm. Lots of red wines which makes me happy! But plenty of whites for those who enjoy whites as well. They give out free water and also there was coconut water as well. The lines for the bathroom stink...but moves quickly. Go before you actually need to go... You will probably get drunk if you drink fast here ... be careful :)
