    Chicken wrap and tots
    Alyssa R.

Was squished into the corner at the front of the restaurant surrounded by a large group of people that were all standing, but the back area was only half full. The food came out and the tortilla was dry, and there was only chicken in the middle of the wrap where it was cut. Not giving a 1 because it could have just been an off night, but was pretty disappointed.

Thought it was cool that they had "lettuce leaf" as one of the bun choices - but it's not a wrap. More like one piece of lettuce on the bottom of the burger. I just asked for more lettuce as toppings to try to make my own wrap. Server was pleasant, place was clean. Food was slow in coming out, taste was average. Won't mind coming in one a pinch, but wouldn't go out of my way to revisit. Kinda funny that their logo struts 3 stars above a glass of beer... cuz that's exactly how many stars I think the place gets!

Had lunch at Point After Pub & Grille on Labor Day with two family members. We were all very satisfied with our orders. I enjoyed a Toasted Cheese and Ham sandwich, and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Our waitress, Amy, was friendly and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely return.

    Cheap tenders for $17
    Hugh J.

I would say the place has cheap food that's overpriced. I got fried pickles that were spears. The spears were cut into thirds so in the entire basket, if I had to guess, we probably only had 3 or 4 pickle spears. That was disappointing considering the price. I also got chicken tenders for 16.95. It was a dinner entree so I am thinking for that price, they have to be good tenders. Nope, they were those cheap tenders you can get at a fair. I only like chicken tenders where when you open it, you can see the chicken, these are not those tenders. For $17 and something I will not be eating, I am disappointed. You get 6 tenders which is a lot, but I would rather pay $17 for quality over quantity. The waitress was nice but the food also took awhile to come. I won't be ordering the tenders again, I feel kinda scammed.

Three piece haddock fish fry with two extra pieces and a potato pancake

I was going to a Milwaukee Milkmen game (if you haven't been to one yet, what are you waiting for?!?!) on a Friday night and wanted to stop for a fish fry beforehand. Conveniently, Point After is just a couple minutes from Franklin Field and I happened to have them bookmarked as a place to try. I ordered cheese curds and a three piece haddock fish fry with potato pancake for the side. I also ordered an additional piece of fish, but somehow received two pieces. I feel like cheese curds and haddock were cooked about 30 seconds too long. The breading on the cheese curds was getting close to the point of being burned, but thankfully wasn't, and the fish was a bit dry and hard to cut without using a knife. Taste wise the cheese curds were ok. There was much more breading than cheese, which was disappointing. Certainly not inedible or something I didn't like, but not worth getting again. I double checked my bill and I was only charged for one extra piece of haddock, so I guess I got lucky with a free extra piece too. I normally love haddock and flavor wise they were good, but they were too dry for me to want it again. The potato pancake was awesome. There was only one, but it was large and cooked perfectly. If I come again and try something else, I'd for sure want the potato pancake again.

Build your own burger with seasoned fries and the wife had a wrap with seasoned fries. Both were excellent

just went to this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised the place was fairly crowded, and we got our appetizer and food in a very fast fashion and everything was very good. The waitress was really good- i cannot complain.

Need better cook immediately! Food is subpar. Maybe reinvent menu options would help.

I ordered my bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and raw onions with no condiments like ketchup etc for an unbiased tasting of the cheeseburger with American cheese. My take out container was weighty and looked good. The cheeseburger was big and no recently popular thin burger smash burger with 3 whole strips of bacon. The tator tots were crisp on the out side soft and chunky on the inside. The toppings were fresh as the bun. The burger was not seasoned but salt helped with a good char broiled flavor which is the bomb for me. The cookie is always a nice touch with the sandwiches. This is a tasty cheeseburger for sure.

Of the bookmarks I had within reasonable driving distance, Sideliners Pub & Grill intrigued me the most. I ended up ordering the three piece beer battered perch with potato pancakes for the side and wings for an appetizer with half Cajun dry rub and half Jamaican BBQ jerk sauce. I thought it was interesting that the jerk sauce was specifically labeled as "Jamaican BBQ jerk" and it ended up being an accurate description. It was more BBQ flavored than jerk flavored and had almost no heat to it like jerk normal does. The Cajun rub, on the other hand, had great heat and Cajun flavor. The jerk sauce wasn't bad, but my preference was the Cajun rub. In a picture I saw of the potato pancakes they looked like they were Italian breaded, similar to mozzarella sticks. Again, I was intrigued. Unfortunately, the pancakes didn't live up to my expectations. The breading didn't have much Italian seasoning and the pancakes were like mashed potatoes formed into disks rather than more common potato pancakes that are shredded potato flavored with onion. The pancakes were my least favorite part of the meal. The perch didn't taste like yellow lake perch and was probably something cheaper like pike perch. Even though I did like the beer batter, it wasn't exactly was I was hoping for when I ordered perch, but it wasn't bad.

The washrooms are also located at the front. We did not venture in too far, but I did see more seating in the back of the bar. It was a bit busy and a little loud, but you cannot control the guests. The entrance does have stairs. in addition, there is a fenced area in the back that can be utilized in the warming months. There is parking on the side of the building. We asked our server Taylor "Columbia" what she recommended, and she offered the sausage pizza as that is a top seller and she suggested the burgers. We ordered the sausage pizza with a full order of fries, and we were not disappointed. In addition, we ordered two burgers to-go. When placing that to-go order we asked for extra napkins and plastic ware as those we ordered for would be eating on their 45-minute ride home. Many times (other restaurants), these items are missed, but not this time. Much appreciated. As requested, the fries came out first. Hot and crispy and salted perfectly. Then the pizza came out. The crust was crunchy and tasty making the pizza in itself delicious. Great recommendation from our server. And the girls were rather satisfied with their burgers as well. Would highly recommend visiting Bowery Bar and Grill. The staff is kind and fast and the food is delicious.
