Dwayne picked up the phone and *walked me through troubleshooting and solving my problem for free.* The house is still very new to me and I literally didn't know where my subpanel was in my basement - he patiently stayed on the phone while I found it, walked me through what I needed to do, and now I'm up and running again. Okay, so you can get to me in the morning...and they said no that I couldn't be scheduled the next morning....So I wasted an entire afternoon waiting on a repairman that didn't show up and then they wouldn't commit to get to me the next morning....so now I could waste another day waiting...or I could call a more reputable company that keeps their word and goes the extra mile when they inconvenience a customer.... I recently moved to the area and needed to add outlets in 2 bathrooms and install a wifi light switch. The lady who answered the phone (JoAna) was super nice and responded very quickly. The technician (Ryan) arrived promptly, and was very courteous also. The work was done efficiently and professionally. He made sure I was able to connect to the wifi switch and both newly installed outlets were working properly. Switch Electric is now my favorite electrician in the Tahoe area. Searched all around for electricians to rewire CAT6 ethernet cables and finally Switch Electric was up to the task. The estimate and work were very professional, though I do wish I was a bit more specific as to how low I was wanting the wires dropped. I hired Switch Electric to wire up some extra 220v outlets for my garage and to hook up a newly purchased hot tub. The electricians were prompt, friendly and efficient. I had to have a lot of conduit put up on the exterior of my house and garage and the electricians made sure to involved me in all the options and decisions to minimize the unsightly appearance of such. It looks fantastic, and very minimal in its overall appearance. Once all the work was completed, I was told by Hot Tub Superstore to video call them for set up. In trying to set up my Hot Tub, we found that the hot tub wouldn't turn on and the hot tub store employee assured me that it couldn't be anything wrong with the hot tub, that it "HAD" to be something wrong with the electrical and that there was "no way it could be the hot tub itself," and he couldn't do anything to help me until that situation was rectified. I called Dwayne (owner of Switch Electric) and he immediately had a technician return to my house. The technician was thorough, and kindly showed me that everything was 100% hooked up properly on their end. He was even so helpful as to video call with the he hot tub employee to show him that there was in fact a problem with the hot tub, and that no electrical issues were present. He even went as far as to try some trouble shooting techniques while on the video call with the hot tub store. The problem with the hot tub was eventually solved by the store, but the customer service I received with Switch Electric was far superior and second to none. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking to have electrical work done.
