The staff moved like they knew their places, how to hold themselves, and genuinely grateful for our prescience. The trainee under Robin did a fantastic job tonight, very welcoming, entertaining, funnyyy absolutely loved him (sadly misplaced his name)! *hats off to Robin for her training*. Management (Josh) seemed thoroughly happy to be there and happy to aid the staff, along with providing excellent hospitality. Hugo spritz's 10/10 old fashion also 10/10.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a wagyu sirloin that had a red wine reduction, crispy onions, potato gratin and garlic green beans. We also ordered two kids trays which were priced very fair at $9 for the options and amount of food received. Our kids had the fried chicken tenders, grilled steak and picked sides of fries, mashed potatoes and fruit. The kids trays also came with drinks. Since this was a birthday celebration or server did make it special by brining a sweet treat and candle and even discounted my meal! Some things to think about when planning a visit: The restaurant is very loud. Make a reservation! It is popular. Plan parking! The area is full of great restaurants so parking is tough. Paid parking areas are available but limited.

In fact, my kids laughed at my wife when she got a salad and wasn't overly impressed "Mom, why would you get a salad at a place with great burgers?!?" My thoughts exactly. The service is decent, the space is comfortable for a downtown spot on Monroe Center. When I visit, I focus solely on the burgers and I've never been disappointed. The 'Meat Wagon', topped with ribeye, ham and bacon just wants to cuddle your belly from the inside. The 'Otto Von Burger' topped with a fried egg and bacon is one of the best examples of its kind. The 'Alabamer' is great when you're craving pulled pork and bacon on your burger. If you just want a traditional burger, you have that option and won't be disappointed. Also, the loaded fries are solid, but personally, I would pass on the fancier offerings. Remember: Burgers over fancy apps and skip the salads and you'll be fine.

Prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing! I tried the Chicken Bacon Jammer Sandwich. It was so good! The combo of the Boursin cheese, bacon jam and the reaper mayo was delicious and really balanced out the heat from the mayo. Splurged on desert and the Cookie n' Milk cake was wonderful. Not too rich or sweet. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are downtown!

Throughout our drinks and meal, our server Kayla W. was exceptional! A warm welcome, nice feedback on both drinks and food, checked in regularly to assure we were all set, and shared some interesting happenings. We could not have asked for more! The arrival pace of our appetizer and main course was spot-on, good and hot, had generous portions, and tasted great! When we travel back to GR from Holland, we will be returning to the Beltline Bar. To add to the experience, please add more local and MI beers to the standard fare. Founders and Bells should be well represented.

The food was pretty good as always; I certainly enjoyed my wet burrito. However, I'm not certain I want to return after my experence today. The highlight of our meal today was Joann, our waitress. She was very friendly, helpful, fast, and efficient. If I DO return here, I certainly hope to be seated in her section again.

I feel like after a busy beach day in the sun, working up an appetite, this was ideal. It's darker in here but not in a bad way, just "out of the pure sunshine" kind of way. Service was nice and we were delighted to get right in. My kids were so hungry after defying us and not eating for what felt like days. That came to a halt here. My oldest got the grown up sized burger, and my youngest chicken tenders. We didn't hear a peep out of them for about 15 minutes, which is always nice. I can't say the food is earth shatteringly good or anything, but we all enjoyed it. It feels like a place where a little nostalgia plus the shine of vacation elevates it to me. Oh and beer prices were very fair too. The little animal crackers they brought out at the end were a hit as well. All in all, a classic, fun, friendly kind of spot that we very much enjoyed.

Walking in we were immediately redirected because we didn't notice the please wait to be seated sign that was outside of the door. It would be nice if the sign had been a little more visible or if we had been redirected more kindly. We were sat immediately and even though I tend to hate high tops, the chairs were sturdy and comfortable. Between myself and my friends we ordered the grilled ham and cheese, the nutty salad, and the burger (with cheddar, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, and mustard). We all loved our food and it came out quickly. I ordered my burger medium-well and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and made sure to refill our water frequently. At the end of our meal they gave us little cups of animal crackers, which was just the cutest touch! Overall loved and would totally return and recommend.

They even have their own canned root beer. How cool is that. Unfortunately it was a little too sweet with maple syrup/molasses taste for me (to be fair the waitress forewarned me about the fair. But why not try their signature root beer. I don't regret it one bit). My only issue, which is out of their control was that the parking lot was packed on a Saturday 6pm, so we had to find street parking down the road.
