The horses know the way and follow your guide, so it's great for beginners. There's also parking in site, and our guide took photos for us while we were on the trail. The trail was beautiful: shady sections, little creeks to cross, gentle up-and-down hills, and tons of lush green scenery all around. We passed several bikers and hikers, and every single one was super respectful of the horses and politely gave us the right of way. The horses themselves were awesome. calm and steady, with just the right amount of playful sass to keep it interesting. We left smiling and already talking about coming back. Our experience @ Will Mar has been outstanding. It truly is a happy place for riders & horses. The stalls are large & generously padded. Horses are fed three times per day; supplements are given daily per owners' instructions. Stalls are cleaned seven days per week. Horses are turned out for several hours six days per week. The layout of the facility is quite perfect with easy access to the round pen, turnouts, wash area & tack rooms. Rainy weather? Hand walking mostly possible as walkways are covered with gravel. The footing in the arena is top notch. Training with Amy Miller is superb. She has a special communication gift not only with equines but also with riders. Each lesson is immensely valuable & brings out the best in every horse-rider team. If you & your horse/s are looking for boarding only, consider WMEC. I am a first time horse by chance. I rescued a 5 year old arab gelding that someone just left at…read moremy friends barn . It was obviously he was treated badly. My friend has many horses of her own he was falling through the cracks knots in his main and dirty. I immediately took to him every day 30miles one way to bond with him. Even my friend offered to bord him for free as kind as that is I felt my horse SUN-DANCE Wasnt happy. it was kind of a sad barn. I looked into other barns I felt having him closer would be best. I found Three oaks immediately. One tour with the owners was great. I moved my horse. With in 5 days being at this beautiful barn the help and other horse borders so helpful and nice . My horse lives up to his name he plays runs endlessly in the sun. I see such a different in my horse .boarding him free was a nice offer BUT not worth his health and happiness. Its worth every penny to know he loves his NEW home.

Onto the actual adventure, our guide was Ebony, and she was incredible, literally incredible. She was super informative right from the very beginning and super knowledgeable as well about the trail and just everything that we were seeing. It was fun to learn a little bit about her and a lot about just the nature preserve and all the little fun facts that we probably wouldn't have known otherwise. I hope that we can come back sometime soon. We were there to celebrate my dad's birthday and he had an amazing time as well. Thank you for helping make this experience super special and memorable and thank you for the top-tier Customer Service! She's also helped me with training my horses and helped me with tips along the way to better my horses. Her facility has it all, an arena, a hot walker, a wash rack for showering the horses, 2 round pens and great workers that help keep the facility in tip top shape.! It's a great facility if you'd like to board your horses and you love the "ranch" aesthetic like we do! She does have horses here that she's rescued and were well trained to be used for horsemanship/riding lessons and my girls are next in line to start their training with her.
