Booked an appointment yesterday to go in today at 9am. I got there a little bit before 9 and they showed up a little bit after 9. They had me sit down and wait for a bit so they could get ready. The lady that did my nails kept answering the phone, and texting. She used regular scissors to cut my nails at a length that I did not want. Never even asked how long I wanted them. I showed them what I wanted and got nothing like what I wanted. The colors don't match at all and the nails are bulky. The lady asked me if I liked them and I said no that I didn't and all she said was they're so pretty. So I just wasted $50 on nails that I didn't want and I'll be taking them off. read more

My mama and I came here for pedicures and we so so enjoyed our experience! I had Judy and my mom had Michael and honestly, we will be loyal customers to this place from now on! They were so meticulous and clean, the experience was relaxing and not rushed at all. End result, we both loved the way our pedicures turned out. We paid $35 for the delux spa pedicure (regular plus two extra treatments for callous removal and hot wax treatment), it took a little over an hour for the treatment and it was awesome. After my pedicure, I decided to get a quick manicure to match for $15, (because I was so relieved that Judy knew what she was doing) and that also turned out amazing. First and foremost, it was my first time here (Worst mistake) nails by Han. Everything seemed okay, but she repeatedly stopped to answer her cellphone and take appointments. Then, she forgot where she left off when she came back to finish my nails. The worse happened, when she painted my nails with Gel. Omg..... they were so sloppy, that it looked like a 5 year-old painted them. Continuously, I had to tell her to fix them and then she became upset and frustrated. She told me "You are so picky." Obviously, if I am paying for something I expect neatness, quality, and perfection. Take pride in your work, and your customers will be extremely happy. Even the customer next to me was complaining on how sloppy her nails were. Duh, if I'm paying for a service, the least I expect is quality. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Under new management so there have been some changes some good some bad... really enjoyed Kens services, got a pedi with a GREAT foot massage that I never received before the management change. Walked in to ask for appointment, Phillip took me right away for a two color fill. I ask if he could change the pink to a darker color and encapsulated with a clear acrylic to prevent the white from staining. His response was "too much work". I informed him I would pay the cost, but he made it seem as if I was being to demanding. I agree with a previous reviewer. I've been coming to Sydney nails for a while now, but today I was charged an extra $5 for the gel removal that I previous had from them. It was a little shocking because I've NEVER been charged for the removal. So today I paid $72 including tip for the services. Still my favorite nail place here just a little sadden by the random charge of gel removal. So if you've never been before just make note of the charge that's not included in the service. read more

I called on Tuesday 09/21 and made an appointment for Wednesday 09/22 at 11AM. I had a whole conversation with the person about a time I would be able to come in. I get here on Wednesday morning at about 10:50am only to find out i'm not even on the appointment list. I am now waiting because one told me, "i'll take you later when there's something available". Like that is why I called YESTERDAY AT 4PM so I wouldn't have to go through some bullshit like this. They took in about 3 other women after I got here who all seemed to have 11AM appointments. Place was clean, and I called ahead so they took me right away, but it took an hour and a half for a gel pedicure while switching off people doing it then the credit card machine wouldn't work and I was stuck there another 15 mins as they were trying to fix it. Felix the owner has wasted my time twice now. He moves too fast and doesn't realize he's booked appts. The last set he did for me came out thick and bumpy. Also I've never been charged extra for my natural nails to be painted just because they are longer than most natural nails. I'm fed up with this shop. Everything was great when Karen worked there.
