They have been by his side since he was just 18 months old, celebrating every milestone, every breakthrough, every challenge, and every victory. They never just treated him as a client they became part of our family. When Leif was diagnosed with autism, I had no idea what our future would look like. I worried if he would ever be able to tell me how he felt, make friends, or confidently navigate the world. Kelli gave my son something I can never fully repay her for she gave him a voice. Because of her patience, dedication, and unwavering belief in him, Leif has grown into the funny, smart, kind, and expressive little boy he is today. She helped him find words when he couldn't find them himself. She celebrated the victories that others may have overlooked and loved him through every setback. So much of who Leif is today has been shaped by the incredible work she and her team poured into him. There will never be enough words to thank Kelli and everyone at Playworks. Miss Jen took time to evaluate her and never negatively commented or judged on her delay but gave us measurables we could work on from home along with her sessions. Our daughter went for 8 months and finally hit a language burst towards the end. She went from taking our hands and leading us when she wanted something to putting sentences together. Angie, the scheduler, has scheduled my child's appointment not once, not twice, but three separate times, and each time the appointment has been pushed further out. Her PT Angela is so helpful and seems to really care about my daughter and her occupation. My daughter said Angela gets 5 stars and a thumbs up! Yes the wait time to get into a provider may take a little long. Yes they are busy but it is well worth it.
