Because of her information about the process (which I'm thankful for especially since I was a lash extension virgin), I felt comfortable about using her waxing services while I was there. It ended up being one stop shopping for my 'get ready for hectic spring shenanigans' checklist. The lash process was a little long, but oh so worth it! Whatever product that may be, look for a dupe; one that works just as good with similar ingredients for a lighter price tag. Walking back to my car from a previous appointment, I met a young lady that introduced herself as Paige who offered me a skin analysis. I happily accepted, went through the process and scheduled a Diamond Glow Facial for a later date. On the day of my appointment, we started with another skin analysis. She then thoroughly, went over each of the steps in this special facial. She worked her magic to cleanse, extract, exfoliate and hydrate. Such a pampering experience. So relaxing. It's always hard for me to get off these warm and cozy tables. I managed. Lol. At first glance in the bathroom mirror where there was more light, revealed a glowy, fresh face. I absolutely love it.

Also, they have multiple artist so easy to book same day appointments. All artist are very talented. I have had my face beat by multiple artist and have never been disappointed. In my opinion Sheena is the best artist though. The only con I would say Sheena is on the expensive side, but the service does match the price. She also does have famous cliental .They do charge above average for makeup services. Also, I wish they had online booking. They are very prompt with answering the phone appointments though. I wanted a full natural look with some noticeability. They are full & curled ( see the pics below) I am so displeased, I called back to the shop and spoke to MiMi. Mimi explanation sounded more like an excuse, that the lashes used was based on my natural lashes ability to use certain lengths to avoid damage to the lash line. Also, their was no offer to redo them or offer any kind of half off. So I will not return & do not recommend. If you do go please take a picture of what you want or expect. That's quite a bargain compared to the salons on the Mag Mile or Oak Street. Luckily I got a gift card for the holidays! I came in on a Saturday morning and was waited on right away. They have reclining for relaxing and laying back of course. I was able to stay fully dressed, no robe needed. They design the washes for those in a hurry. My esthetician, Keisha, was professional and kind as she explained the products she applied and asked what I was using. They use their own brand of products(I never did find out what CBQ stood for). Keisha asked what I used on my skin, and complimented me on a nice job, so maybe that was why she did not pressure me into buying any products. She did recommend a serum. The use of machines in addition to hands was useful; The first machine produced steam to open the pores of course, while another one was very cold, but it reduced puffiness. A third machine had a suction function. The soothing Inspirational (ok, Christian) music added to a calm, positive atmosphere. The slide show with tips on skin care such as what to avoid/add was a good substitute for lectures. My only drawback was privacy. The chairs are all in one room, the same room as the lobby, and not spaced out so much, so there was little privacy. The only private room is probably where the waxes are done. I don't have much to hide concerning my skin, but if you enjoy chatting and sharing personal info to an aesthetician, you may want to go when it's very quiet.
