I can honestly say that Dr. Lim is, by far, the best D.D.S. I've ever met. Not only is he a cool, communicative, and genuinely friendly person, but he is clearly a master of his craft. I recently needed an apicoectomy and a follow-up root canal to save one of my teeth. They went extra lengths to make sure I was comfortable (pillow, music, communication) and made sure I had a pain killer for the 1.5 hour drive home. I was referred here by my dentist for three root canals. Kids, listen up! When your parents tell you to brush your teeth, please do so. I am an example of what happens if you don't. Synergy did an excellent job of taking care of the work I needed. They were able to work around my crazy work schedule, getting me in and out in a timely manner. Since I am coming from Ridgecrest I had an 1 1/2 drive each way so it was nice not having to wait once I got there. I think the coolest part is that he was able to numb the precise area needing work instead of numbing half my face. I wish all dental specialists could figure out how to do that. I was there planning to get a root canal and I think she was planning that I was going to get the root canal but after she did a CT scan she said the roots or the nerves were fused and increases the possibility of root canal failure. I was really impressed with her competence and honesty. She referred me back to my dentist for either an extraction or a filling. She was also very kind. I was referred to Synergy Endodontics by my new regular dentist to repair a re-infected root canal done by an Encino endodontist at the end of last year. I didn't like his practice, the associated costs, or the outcome of his work (he recommended immediate extraction of the two teeth that he'd done root canals on) so I was rather skeptical about visiting Synergy Endodontics in Palmdale, particularly since the office is difficult to find. That said I saw Dr. Oo who explained her preferred approach, which was to save the two teeth if possible, what I should expect from the treatments and how she would go about the required work. Dr. Oo is both thorough and remarkably gentle with the initial goal of stabilizing the teeth and controlling the underlying infection. At this point we're just waiting to see if her efforts are going to succeed but the contrast between her and the highly recommended Encino endodontist are night and day and I'm naturally sorry not to have been directed to Dr. Oo in the first place. The other difference between the two practices that I've seen so far is that Synergy's staff provide transparent billing information and they follow up with genuine concern to see how you're doing after the procedures This is a highly professional practice with a truly skilled practitioner in Dr. Oo - I can't recommend her enough. read more

I live an hour away, I was referred by my dentist. I called and told them I needed a procedure done within 10 days, they accommodated me in 5. I was very nervous for the procedure of the root canal as I've never had one and dental procedures can be quite unsettling. Doctor Jung Lim was very gentle, he explained the procedure that would be done, the ladies were also wonderful and reassuring, he numbed the area greatly and I felt no pain at all. My teeth are sensitive and I was very satisfied that I felt nothing. He and assistant Daniela put my comfort music for us to all listen to while procedure was being done. He shared some anecdotes and I walked out feeling like a long time patient of the place. I have to come back soon for another RC but I feel comfortable and look forward to my next visit with them. I went in for an emergency dental appointment with Dr. Jason Gee. this morning at 8 am. Lena at the front desk was pleasant, helpful and greeted me upon entering their office. Dr. Jason Gee's assistant, Germaine (I think that is her name). Hopefully, I got her name right. His assistant is always friendly, pleasant and has a calming presence just like Dr. Jason Gee. She took my x-rays and assured me I was in great care. Once Dr. Jason Gee assessed the severity of my dental issue, his front desk staff Vanessa, accommodated me with a same day appointment. When I returned at 1 pm, his staff assured me that everything would be fine. Dr. Jason Gee was thorough, explained the work that he was going to do and made sure to ask if I was ok through the procedure.
