I was referred to Division Street Dental by my Orthodontist, Dr. Snow. The staff is friendly and they make you feel comfortable, during the visit. I had an emergency visit this week, due to excruciating pain in my tooth. Dr. Baker was amazing. My tooth pain was a level 12+ and he was able to stop the pain and schedule a root canal appointment next week. I am so glad I found this doctor and the staff too. I highly recommend. read more

I don't normally write reviews. But in this case I thought I would. My family and I have been coming to Division Street Dental for over 20 years. We've brought pretty much every dental issue you can imagine to this office. Let me say up front that I hate dentists. I don't like people poking around in my mouth, and on top of that, I have a major gag issue. Having said that, and because of my "issues", I totally trust and greatly appreciate the friendliness and professionalism that this practice brings to the AV. It's a class act from top to bottom. I absolutely love this place!! I was traumatized of the dentist at a young age, so any trips even now at the age of 29 bring anxiety and panic. This place has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Cleanings have become easier, and believe me it's taken awhile. The staff is always wonderful, from the front to the dental assistants, to the dentist. I've seen Dr.Baker and his son, and just yesterday I saw Dr. Arita-Kim. Dr. Kim was amazing!! I had to fill 4 cavities and it was a walk in the park. Again I know to most cavities are not that big of a deal to most but unfortunately they are for me. Since I have high anxiety coming to the dentist to get fillings/procedures done they prescribed a sedative to be taken before the visit. This has been done twice and has helped me immensely. Throughout the whole visit Dr. Kim continued to ask if I was okay, how I was doing etc. She communicated what she was doing and where she was going next on my teeth. I currently live in the valley and I still make the trip all the way up to their office because of their service and understanding. I cannot thank them enough !! I went here for bit over a year. I was told I had an open margin on a crown and had to get it re done. The price was over $1,500 with a professional discount. I postponed it because I did not have the money. I decided to get a second opinion. I could not believe it when the other doctor did not see anything wrong with the crown. I couldn't believe that doctors will lie to their patients. read more

While Dr. Baker is a competent and experienced dentist, his hygienist, Michelle, I believe is her name, leaves much to be desired. She recently joined his practice. She hardly scaled around my teeth, and although she had a tray full of instruments, she used just one. It looked like a pointy hook (is called a sickle scaler). She did under my gums around all my back teeth with it, was very superficial with the polish, and barely rinsed out my mouth. I was out of there in record time. I was cooperative and didn't say much. I felt very disrespected! I am/was a cash patient, so parting with $100 for a dental cleaning is painful. I had been looking forward to this appointment because I was going on a trip and I wanted nice clean teeth for it. I would always get good treatment from Jeannie--but she isn't there anymore. She was always careful to do a good job. The other hygienist there is also rude and uppity, so I refuse to see her. Michelle also did my husband and was just as superficial and quick with him. On the way to the car, he asked me, "Are we going back there?" I said, "NO!" He said, "Good. That was the worst cleaning in my life!" It was as if they wanted us to leave the practice. I had been wanting to have my husbands' cosmetic work done there, cash, mind you, which was going to cost us $4k cash. I found someone else who is very talented in the area of cosmetic dentistry, and will take my husband there, instead. read more

Came in for the very 1st time to get a basic cleaning. They did an extensive amount of X-rays and sat me in a room where I waited an hour and a half for them to tell me that they won't be cleaning my teeth & charge me $50 for those useless X-rays!!!! . I asked if they could then replace a crown for me and they quoted me $785 I would have to pay out of pocket for that WITH AN EXCELLENT PPO SERVICE PROVIDER. This place is absolute garbage and I warn everyone in Palmdale to stay away from! Big waste of time and money.....ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE read more

Decent dental office. My main problem is the front desk. They are friendly and all however they are very disorganized. They incorrectly bill and don't fill you in on everything. They call and tell me I have a balance that's due when I don't. Also, the staff doesn't explain charges properly or tell you what works going to be done and what is covered and what's not. They don't check thoroughly with your insurance coverage and then your next visit, all the sudden, there's a bigger balance out of pocket than you thought or were told. You go in thinking you are getting a regular cleaning, which is covered by your insurance, but the end up doing a "special" cleaning that costs out of pocket without telling you. I am currently in the process of finding a new dentist office. read more

This Dentist charges way to much. Even with great PPO insurance they are still so very pricy. They follow the Delta guidelines BS. They over price everything, what a shame. And there in house plan sucks who the hell needs 4 cleanings per year and charge 300 dollars for a cleaning BS. You can go anywhere else and get x-rays cleaning for under 50 bucks. read more

We have been coming to Division Street dental since they were over on Division Street! They are always friendly and accommodating. My dental hygienist Alicia, is the real reason we have been with them so long. She does a fantastic job with our cleaning and has always gotten our family in on the same afternoon like clockwork. She is knowledgeable and is fantastic with my kids. They have come since they were 2 and 5 years old. The office uses the most up to date dental technology. And I appreciate the painless approach to dentistry, especially for my children. read more

I am new to the Antelope Valley and was in search of a Dentist for myself and family. I saw the rave reviews about Division Street Dental and figured this was the place to go. I called to make an appointment for myself, husband and 2 children. I was told we could not all be seen at the same time, which is fine- no biggie (2 appointmens- one for the kids and one for my husband and I.) While still speaking to the rep on the phone, I inquired that the consult would include cleaning... I was told that they were just oral consultations and they couldn't "guarantee" a cleaning. I questioned why we wouldn't get cleanings since that is what I thought the appointment was for (to include consult, xrays, cleaning etc.) The rep proceeded to tell me they do it differently and if we wanted guaranteed cleanings we would have to schedule even further out. No offense, but I don't have the time to come back 4+ times just for cleanings! Not impressed with the my initial contact with this facility. While I understand they have certain methods in place, I find it ridiculous that I would need to make numerous appointment's just to have a basic teeth cleaning. Needless to say, Division Street Dental Group has lost my business. I will find somewhere else that is willing to accommodate my family. read more

From the moment I walked in I was happy, this place is clean, with up to date equipment, and the staff is friendly! One person sneezed and I heard bless you echo the place from everyone, it was too cute! The price is a bit higher than the other dentist I have seen, but I need all the work I got done at other dental offices fixed! My cleaning was gentle and the wait time was average. read more

I absolutely love this office! My whole family have been patients in here for a long time. I always feel welcomed and well cared for. The front office ladies understand my insurance and help me keep up with all my families dental needs. Deanna is the best. You never feel in a bad mood when she is in the room. No one likes being at the dentist but she makes it a fun place to be. Not only does she lighten up the room but she is also very knowledgeable. I had such a traumatic experience that kept me away front the dentist for years and finally after much searching finally ended up at Division street dental with Dr. Clark and now I will NEVER go to anyone else!!! They treated me and my dental fears with such care and have fixed the problems the other dentists have caused and got my mouth healthy again! I cannot say enough good things about this office. Everyone is caring and knows about each patient before any work is done. And my hygienist Laura is just the best!! I used to take my whole family to this dental office. However, they are way too pricey and are adamant that you have xrays and other work done when you don't need them. I.E.: Columbia University College of Dental Medicine recommends that xrays be done every 2-3 years for returning adults with no decay. However, Division Street Dental forces you to do xrays every 6 months when returning for a cleaning and then charges your dental plan nearly $100 for each xray. It's no wonder that Dr. Baker can afford to fly back and forth to Scottsdale, AZ each week. There are better and less expensive options in the AV. read more

This office has gone down the toilet. It used to be a great place and now it ranks as one of the very worst. The office staff is not stable for a long time and rude. I had two babies that were one year old, and it takes time to do any trip. I could be running out the door and have to go back in to change one of them. In the last instance I was there on time. In the time it took to unload them and get everyone in the office I was maybe five minutes late for a cleaning. After checking in and making me wait for 15 minutes the office lady says I'm 20 minutes late and says I can wait for an hour or reschedule to come in another day. I lost it with this complete lie. Babies don't sit around patiently for an appointment. I don't know who this stupid girl was, but I let her have it. I had been with this dentist for many years. They lost all their good hygienists. It looks like they went cheap all around with staff. The only good dentist, Clayton Clark, moved to start his own business in Santa Clarita. Dr. Baker makes his token visit flying his plane back and forth once a week from Arizona where he lives. The new dentist who goes by Dr. K if probably very well book trained but incompetent and uncoordinated in practice. She is nice and very beautiful but is more concerned with the trips she takes around the world. Excavating into your mouth is just a means to and end. If you get a crown there expect it to go bad and need to be replaced. While you are waiting the odds are that you will experience pain in the crown. Their patent excuse to cover up their ineptitude is to say that all crows eventually need to be replaced and that it is very common to experience pain and usually, but not eventually, it goes away. They like to cover their bases while rubbing their hands together until it is time to get more of their very overpriced dental work. After all, why not have Beverly Hills prices in the Antelope Valley. Their office certainly doesn't want to be the one to contribute to people getting ahead in this depressed area. Speaking of their treatment if you are a fan of pain then you have hit the jackpot. They are stingy with their pain killers and absolutely refuse to use a stronger pill or any time of light sedation when doing a root canal. They will give you a token amount of nitrous (for and overblown fee) which only makes you spaced out while you are in agony. Yeah, and it gets worse when their little cannister runs out halfway through their procedure. I don't know but maybe it is a religious thing associated with a Mormon owner that disallows certain types of pain killers. I made a big mistake getting a root canal from them before getting the crown. The mouth expander they shove it is already extremely uncomfortable and makes you choke. I was in such searing agony that I started kicking everything in sight. The assistant was lucky that I didn't knock her out as I just wanted to punch something. I am surprised I didn't break off their crappy television hanging over the chair. They knew in advance from years of going there that their shots do not work well on me and even for a filling I need three to numb the area. I am going to interject here that I do construction and I am a professional ballet dancer and we live and work with pain on a regular basis and you can't get good without the ability to deal with this. They back off and decided to give me a couple more shots for this root canal. They did this and then walked away with this contraption still in my mouth. I started chocking while still under the influence of the nitrous and had to rip the thing out of my mouth. I was writhing in pain yet they were the ones that were pissed because I took that horrible thing out so I could breath. I seriously hope this office dissolves due to lack of clientele. Any of the cheap dentists that put you in a window with five chairs in the same room will do a much superior job than this overpriced dump. read more

This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to, it's so amazing that it's hard to believe that it's a dentist office. I took my 2 1/2 year old son in to have a second look at his two front top teeth. Division Street dental offers a free "second look" appt. Dr. Clark looked at his teeth and gave me his diagnosis which was two fillings. The other dr. at smile dental said he needed two root canals and caps. Dr. Clark took X-rays to verify and get a closer look and then he confirmed that he could treat the teeth without completely shaving them down and removing the roots. He was perfect with my son; he talked to him and built a relationship as soon as he walked in the room. Every nurse in the place said hi to my son and made him feel important. We came back a couple weeks later and had the work done. Dr. Clark did the work without restraints, sedation, or even Novocain. My son listened to every word the doctor said and sat still for the entire appointment. I was shocked as my two and a half year old son is always squirmy and whining. The entire job was complete in about 20 minutes. This office has nice decor, it's clean, and runs on time. The staff is happy and very nice. This is the only doctor my children will ever see. read more

I have a new favorite dentist!!! Dr Monica Kasprzak is amazing! I got a few fillings and my bite adjusted and i didnt feel a thing! She has a gentle and caring touch but got stuff done quickly while explaining things clearly! Her assistant Yvette was on top of everything and didn't let me drown in my saliva. Alicia cleaned my teeth and she did a great job getting all the plaque without causing pain around my gums. I will be going to Division Street from now on. The place is clean and friendly. read more

Let me start off by saying that the office is beautifully decorated and new hence the crazy service fees ! My first appointment was ok even though I had to wait 40 min. In the chair for Mr.Baker then again returned for second cleaning and wait another 30 min just for the hygienist.I will never return too expensive and not on there time . read more
