Hi there! Our Kensington location does not have a parking lot, there is street parking available. Our Downtown location at the Salt City Market does have a parking lot.

I would like to preface this with why I took one star off. I gave 4 because of the interaction I…read morehad with the in store shift leader in this location ( Fayetteville NY) . I was however extremely impressed with the home office and their willingness to turn the situation around and make my day! A store manager personally delivered our meal to us! THIS MADE OUR DAY. I have been a long time customer of Wegmans. It has been my go to for a good meal on the go or for catering large parties. This evening I was not feeling well and after leaving the doctors, I had to pick up a prescription. I went over to the pizza area and ordered two pizzas in a specific way but when I got home, they were incorrectly cooked. When I called the store initially I spoke with the shift lead in the food area. Although he wasn't outwardly rude on the phone, he was, however, condescending and patronizing. Telling me he was " trying to help me" however the options were not fitting to the situation. He told me I could cook my own then they would be cooked properly. I told him I wasn't feeling well and I just spent over $40 on this meal to be prepared GOR MY FAMILY and I would love to be able to feed them this evening. Mike told me I would have to come back and bring the pizza with me. I don't mind exchanging the items however I was already home and my child had eaten a piece before complaining that it tasted off. I took a bite and it was nearly raw in the center. I had specifically asked for well done. I explained that If they offered delivery ( which they do he confirmed that) then I could give the delivery driver back the wrong items and get the proper replacement deliver. He stated that I would have to order and pay for it all over again. so there was nothing he could do there. I gave up after going in circles with him and reached out to the home office. I believe it was Pam ( I could have the name wrong) who said hold on! let me give the store a call and we will get it straight for you. She was so sympathetic and understanding of everything and I really am thankful for her. Bob who is a store manager was awesome and he remade our items and HAND DELIVERED them to our home. This is above and beyond anything I could have asked for and I want to thank both of them for having compassion and kindness in this rough situation today that spanned much further than an encounter with an unfriendly staff member. Thank you again for being amazing and really caring! I understand that we all have bad days however this particular employee MIke has been rude/unfriendly a few other times with me and I guess today it boiled over for me. What I am getting at is we just don't know what people are going through and I guess both he and I could learn from this. I again, am so grateful for the amazing people who helped me in a tough situation today! Keep doing kind things!

Cute, convenient Bodega stocked well with essentials and "nice-to-haves" in an efficient layout…read more You can find everything from bottled water to a wide variety of diverse beers to necessary grocery and drugstore items here - such as Dr. Bronner's (which I think I saw behind the register, up high on a shelf), batteries (be wary of the unusual "generic" brand offered with an older expiration date), to produce and canned goods, to ice cream, candy, and chocolates - including Green & Black's organic line. I've also found dried fruit snacks here - including organic, non-GMO dried apricots covered in dark chocolate, very random beers (Bell's Smitten, Duvel, a variety of IPAs, typical American brands, and I even some Polish options - lots, in fact). The owner, Mike Alamo, is a New Yorker, so he truly understands the concept of a bodega / cornerstore grocery, and there's a great article about his store's opening over on Syracuse (dot) com - which I'm spelling out, and to which I'm purposefully not linking, since every time I do, Yelp deletes my reviews due to content. Since Mike also has a store in NYC, he keeps the inventory interesting - inclulding stocking something of which I'd never heard until recently: Choward's "Violet" Lavendar Mints. The only downside - and reason for the minus 1 star - is that after purchasing two packs, I noticed an expiration date of 3/11/11 and this was May 2014. :( I mentioned it to Mike tonight, and he didn't apologize or offer to replace/compensate in any way, which I felt was uncool (not that he had to). Fine. I just hope he really does re-stock these the next time he goes in to NYC, and that he starts being more aware of expiration dates. Note, also, the date on my Bell's Smitten Golden Rye Ale was bottled on 1/21/14, and - according to Bell's website - their ales only last 6 months, so again, I was pushing it with this product as well. Word to the wise: note expiration dates when you shop here. All that said, what are your other options in the area? Exactly. In sum, I like this corner store because it reminds me of and epitomizes the concept that Jennifer Pahlka, Founder and Executive Director at Code for America, describes in her "Bodega 2.0: A Business for Healthy, Walkable Cities?" article on LinkedIn, dated January 16, 2013. Again, not linking due to Yelp's new hawkish and odd "governance". Be sure to Google it! :)

I spotted this location close to our final destination and knew my wife and I needed to check it out. I have heard of Wegmans online quite a bit but never looked too far into it. The thing I noticed most in reviews was the size of their hot/pre-made meals being huge. My wife and I were looking for a quick bite after our long drive so knowing they had a large amount of options it was a no brainer to check it out. Everything about this place was massive including with our first part we encountered, the parking lot. Due to being the weekend it was quite full and busy but we did find a spot right away. Inside it is groceries as far as the eye can see, including what felt like the endless selection of hot foods/pre-made section. We ended up grabbing some prepackaged sandwiches which I will say prices were higher than I am use to but the taste of all of them were delicious. Definitely well made sandwiches and if I were local to the area I would return for much more of this section because everything looked appetizing. Check out was quick and easy with no complaints. Will return to a closer location in the future to see more of a Wegmans.

Do you enjoy a nice selection of beer, milk, lottery tickets, blocks of ramen, cold medicine, lunchables, and glass pipes/bowls (only for smoking tobacco, of course; never the devil's lettuce), among other such delicacies? Do you find yourself needing these essentials late at night, or when there are 3 feet of snow on the ground? Do you enjoy shopping to the pleasant aroma of curry that wafts down through the air vents from the Indian takeout place 3 stories above? If any of these apply to you, I highly recommend. Especially because Syracuse lacks a grocery store within walking distance (what the fuck is that about, Cuse?), on the real real, you'll likely be able to find most things that college students need here. Also, to my main man who holds it down at the cash register: thank you for all of the nights that you were my savior (provider of drunchies) & also I'm so, so sorry for the time that I definitely didn't throw up right outside of the door.

The yogurts did not have prices associated with them, so my wife had no idea what they would cost. At Wegmans, and pretty much everywhere else, these cost $1.00 (less for the flavors that come in four-packs.) The price at this market was $1.75 per yogurt! I could understand $1.10 or even $1.25, but $1.75 is absolutely ridiculous! Stay away, unless you want to spend much more than you would spend elsewhere!
