I finally achieved my goal of trying every shawarma spot on 56th. I stopped by on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy inside, but they clearly had plenty of takeout orders going. I ordered my usual beef shawarma with fries, and based on their recommendation, I went with the combo--perfect for a chilly winter night. The shawarma came pre-cut, which made it easy to grab and enjoy. The fries were fresh, and the pickles were crisp. One bite and the juices burst out--the best feeling. I'm giving their beef shawarma a full 10 out of 10.

Absolutely perfect. The best shawarma I've ever had. Authentic. This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and now I know why. I got the chicken beef combo but I like the chicken the best. Also ordered a side of hummus and it was also delicious. It was so juicy! If I am ever back in this area I would definitely stop again.

We tried this place as we were super hungry and looking for halal food so came across this on Google search. To be honest it wasn't the best. It was very very salty. Their garlic sauce had so much salt in it. Staff was mean and they wouldn't do anything about salty food. They opened at 12 and we were there at 1230 and they told us oh we are sold out of rice. I mean someone they just opened and how can they be sold out on rice. What a lame excuse. It's pricey and quantity wasn't good either. We paid almost 50 bucks for 3 of us (2 adult one child). Their bread is something we couldn't eat. They just put some kind of ketchup type of sauce in. The meat quantity is very less. Honestly we bought three different type of meal and all tasted the same plus so much salt. We couldn't finish it. Not going there again

We came here after doing Busch gardens for the day. We love middle Easter food so this place looked amazing plus the reviews gave it a 4.9. When we walked in, it was busy. We ordered a kibbeh, tabbouleh, and chicken and beef loose shawarma. It took a while to get our food. We finally got our food. The kibbeh, was good. Not the best, as it was crunchy and thick but I feel the meat could have been a little more seasoned. The shawarma also was very bland. It was good not dry but they missed the mark with seasoning again. The garlic sauce was good, but light on garlic and whipped. The fries were the most seasoned thing in our food. Overall, solid 4. I doubt I'd be back.

A few is great one of the worst customer service I asked for bottle of water they don't sell it they said here is a cup of water from the fountain. That you get at every best one that I know for free but the Syrian shawarma Tampa, Florida they charge you $1.50 then my mom asked to have kiba just the shell with no shawarma in it and they want to charge same price I think they are just money hungry I don't know anything about customer service this kind of service made me want never to come here again they already expensive, which is fine with me, for go through but to nickel and dime you for stupid stuff that's greed

Hands down the best shawarma ever! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, truly authentic. A must-try spot for anyone who loves shawarma.

One of the best shawarmas in Tampa that I've tried. I tried lots of spots in the temple terrace area and this one is by far the best. Quick service even though they're busy and nice vibes. Feels like home! Would highly recommend the beef of chicken shawarma!

Overall good and full of flavor. One of the best beef shawarmas I've ever had. The kibbeh was full of flavor too. There's also a kibbeh shawarma option which I've never seen before. My only issue is with the portions of an extra jumbo beef shawarma ($15) didn't seem worth the price. It doesn't seem that much more filling than a regular at almost half the price. Kibbeh was $3 each. I didn't know when I ordered that it was only one piece but overall good. I'd definitely recommend this place.

It is amazing how great the shawarma tastes at Syrian Shawarma. Each country in the Middle East makes their shawarma a little differently. I particularly love the shawarma from Israel & from Lebanon. But now I have to say Syria is in a 3-way tie with those others. I ordered a mixed combo of chicken & beef. The chicken was my favorite of the 2. The meat was all white, & the spice mixture used on it was extraordinarily delicious. In addition to the meats, the bed of yellow rice it came on was moist & tasty. And to bring all the flavors together was a garlic sauce that worked perfectly. The workers were pleasant & the food was fantastic.

I found this place on Instagram and have been wanting to try it, glad I did! Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and the tables were all clean. The kibbeh was perfectly seasoned and cooked; the beef shawarma had minimal toppings which I surprisingly enjoyed. Will come back for more!

I'd hate to go against the many great reviews, but I wasn't impressed with the Turkish dishes. Firstly the name is deceiving. On the food - the hummus and tzatziki apps were good , except the pita bread were just reheated pitas found at the local Publix. The coconut shrimps were not coconut. The mixed grill was ok. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. In the spirit of expanding our culinary pallet, we ordered two apps that were new to us. The Kebbeh was very good - i'd say similar to a meat hush puppy? Krispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The Baba Ganju was different than what I was expecting and not something I personally liked (not any fault to the dish, I'm just a texture person). The chicken shawarma and gyro platter (it's a platter at dinner) were FANTASTIC! Seriously, so much flavor, fresh, the meat was not overly cooked. Everything tasted very fresh and we seriously had no complaints!! We also ordered a side of Batata, which are sort of crispy potato cubes with chili flakes + garlic - so good! I will say when we got there, there was a mishap and we waited over 20 minutes to be greeted and introduced to our server after we sat down. Once our server realized we were in her section, the rest of our service was amazing! I think that was just a one off fluke, and I would not let it negatively impact my experience.

My husband and I tried the Tangines since I had never had one and it is one of their specialties. Oh My! They were both fabulous. Tangine is a Moroccan style of roasting meat, vegetables and even bits of fruit in a inverted funnel-shaped pot with a unique blend of Mediterranean spices. I had the steak and my husband had the lamb. They use only organic and heirloom vegetables and make all their recipes authentically from scratch. You can tell when you taste it. It was fun to taste each morsel. There were peppers, carrots, mushroom, green olives, Greek olives, walnuts, tomatoes, feta cheese and tiny bits of mango all on a luscious curry and greek/Mediterranean sauce over orzo pasta. There is also other intriguing things to try on their standard menu as well as Greek favorites, appetizers such as saganaki and vegetarian options. (Wish I had taken a photo of the menu. I definitely can't wait to go back) The hostess also mentioned they offer cooking classes which I want to try as well. Dessert offered was homemade Gelato. Salted caramel and coconut (as well as homemade vanilla) were excellent. I bet they rotate those flavors from time to time. Comfy seating. Pleasant atmosphere. Authentically made food. I hope they succeed as I think everyone should give them a try. Hours are currently limited to 3 days on weekend.
