INITIAL CONTACT The company was quick to respond to our inquiry and set up time for a consultation. What we thought was a consult to receive a bid became a high pressure sales pitch. And our down payment to secure the quote for the job was actually a binding contract for the FULL scope of the project with significant penalties for cancelling (read the contract fine print!). A cancellation window of three days to release liability for the FULL AMOUNT OF THE PROJECT was a big surprise as we read through all the paperwork the days following. We have learned a hard lesson not to sign anything after 9pm, we were both so tired and hungry at that late hour we did not thoroughly read through all the paperwork. Our mistake. We obviously ended up moving forward with the project and got more comfortable after reading through reviews of the quality of the work and the experience customers had once they got past the "sales" call. Most were very positive. We also found that no other company offered the length of warranty that System Pavers does and with the large and challenging area, sloped terrain with drainage challenges and more than 5K sq ft, we felt comfortable that this was the right company to do the work. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN AND RENDERING Overall, the software was helpful in deciding the layout and the borders of the pavers. But we still had a hard time selecting the type of stone with the generic 3D rendering. We had to trust our instincts with the pictures in the catalogues provided to decide what to order. Once we decided on the Mega Lafite and Mega Arbel stones from Belgard, Jeff worked very hard with the vendor to get the color we wanted (as the Victorian shade had been discontinued) at the price we needed to fit our budget. We certainly appreciated this extra effort with the vendor. QUALITY OF WORK We read many reviews relative to the installation and quality of work. There was one team, led by Moises Ponce, that had received nothing but positive reviews. We were grateful that Jeff and the management team at System Pavers reworked the summer schedule so that Moises and his crew were able to take on our project. His team did outstanding work, they were always professional, and cleaned up after themselves. The installation of the pavers and the edging was seamless and the final product has more than met our expectations, it is really beautiful. We get many compliments on our new driveway and front yard and know that we enhanced the value of our home substantially. The team had to address some drainage challenges in front of our house and shop and the choice of permeable pavers so far seems to be functioning well through the first set of rainfall and falling leaves. The only challenges we had with the installation process involved two areas. The first had to do with communication between the Designer, the Project Manager and the Installation crew doing the work. There were times they were not on the same page and luckily one of us was home when most of the work was completed and could monitor the install. The second had to do with the landscaping/grass once the stones were completed. We had to move a portion of our in-ground sprinkler system prior to the new sod being installed. The day the ground was prepped for the sod, several of the sprinkler heads were completely buried and one was even on its side, covered with mulch. Had we not been on site and pointed this out, there could have been significant rework to correct after the sod had been installed. OVERALL We are very satisfied with the work and the end result. The cost for the work may be more than the value added to our home but there were other factors/benefits we considered in the choice of stone we selected and the overall design that increased the price beyond our original budget. It has transformed our front entrance and our front yard into our own private retreat and we no longer have to deal with the dust tracked into our home from our previous gravel driveway. read more

Hands down the best service I have ever received. We used System Pavers for turf and some edging work for our backyard and playground area. From start to finish they were prompt, professional, accommodative, clean, and efficient. The proposal and mapping out of the project was collaborative and they provided to-scale drawings with color coded materials to help visualize the concept. Once we started the project, they communicated with us daily with updates and pictures. They were flexible with our schedule and they cleaned up the entire area every day before they left. They worked quickly and efficiently. We also had a large indoor remodel going on at the same time and they worked around all the other contractors and subs and everyone noted what how great they were. After living through the hell of an interior remodel, with more negative reviews I could write that I can even think about, System Pavers and the work they did outside was a breath of fresh air and saved my sanity. I only wish they did interior projects too because their quality of work, customer service, communication and timeliness was impeccable. Not to mention their turf product is amazing. Weve gotten tons of compliments and people asking where they can get the same thing done. Both our sales rep, JP, and our project manager, Dustin, at System Pavers were so helpful, upbeat, professional and you just felt like they genuinely loved their job, were excited about what they were doing and wanted you to be as happy as possible. The interior remodel we did drove me to drink. Thank God System Pavers gave me a backyard I could at least enjoy that drink in. As I write this, I'm sitting outside, barefoot, on our new beautiful turf. They definitely arent the cheapest option in town but you absolutely get what you pay for and its so worth it. We have two small kids and a dog and having a turf backyard, especially in the PNW, is a game changer. Im pretty stingy and am totally that person who will put back a tray of chicken that costs $12.98 because I saw one beneath it for $12.76, and I get major buyers remorse with big expenditures. But I have never been so happy and felt it was so worth it to write a massive check like I did for the work System Pavers did for us. We did have an issue after they finished with not having enough enough sprinklers left in the correct places and they came out right away and remidied the issue with minor inconvenience and no cost to us. We recently had System Pavers do a complete overhaul of our backyard patio area. To start, I contacted several companies to get quotes for the work we were looking to have done. I was immediately impressed by how quick System Pavers responded to our request. They were able to schedule a consultation and design visit for the next day, which was a Saturday. My husband and I both work full time during the weekdays and we really appreciated the weekend design consultation. Dan was our design expert. It was readily apparent that Dan has extensive knowledge and experience in backyard renovations. During the visit we we had plenty of time to ask questions, express concerns and explore alternatives and options that aligned with our desired budget and goals. Ultimately Dan helped us create a vision for our backyard above and beyond what we could've hoped for. My only real qualm with the design consultation was payment options. My husband and I felt the "financing option" (which is really just a credit card application) was a bit misleading / not fully transparent. We were very caught off guard by the new credit card received in the mail a few days later. Thankfully it was no issue to cancel it and use our own funds for the project. There were a few other missed details, like losing yard measurements or failing to appropriately process an amended contract, but these things happen and both were quickly resolved. There was never a concern about being able to reach Dan. We were beyond thrilled to have our project start ahead of schedule. We were connected with Michael, our project manager. He was just as communicative and knowledgeable. He kept us updated throughout every step of the project and provided expert advice/counsel along the way. The contractors were extremely diligent and hardworking; they completed the project in record time. At the conclusion of the project, Michael did a final walkthrough with us. He was very thorough and provided us with detailed instructions to maintain our new patio and fire pit area. Overall, the System Pavers team was incredible to work with. Their online portal is great for keeping track of the project process, making payments and more. We loved how easy it was to get a hold of our project team, as well. We had a small, side yard project done by System Pavers and it was fantastic! From the first moment of filling out the inquiry, getting a call to set up an appointment and then meeting with Walker, our design professional the process was streamlined and easy. Walker was great to meet with, had fantastic ideas and was very thorough and quick to provide an on the spot assessment and estimate. We had just a few hiccups initially with communications not coming through or being received, but we remedied that situation and Walker was good with his communications and follow ups. Once I signed the contract, easy and all online! We scheduled the walk through and we were able to get on the schedule quickly. We did have a work order change due to a different design element that I wanted to implement and Walker was incredibly kind and efficient in finding a source for the new material, a quick new bid and the team created a new estimate for the work to be started. Once we had everything ordered and on it way, it was a matter of days before we were rescheduled. They started the job on a Friday and completed it on Tuesday afternoon! Michael, our Project Manager, was on site, always in communication! He sent us updates via texts as well as step by step photos through the process. Michael was also on and off site and sent me any questions or issues right away to be addressed. The team was efficient and clean! System Pavers was not our lowest bid by far, but I chose them due to recommendations from other friends and I liked how Walker presented himself, the project and his ideas and willingness to spend time understanding our needs and budget. I was very impressed with SPs system of keeping us updated on all of the steps, again this was a small project, but it was helpful and I can see how doing a larger job this would save lots of time and stress! Another great thing is that SP uploads photos for your whole project, so you just log in and there is your project from start to finish! We have done a total of 5 outdoor living area projects to date with System Pavers including paver patios, installation of turf, stone work accents, LED outdoor lighting, and an outdoor shower for our spa. He is super to work with, has great ideas, and always gets us the most bang for our buck. System Pavers completely remodeled our backyard transforming it in just a few weeks into an amazing outdoor living space.  Our backyard was sloped towards the house when we moved in several years ago.  This needed to be fixed to prevent water possibly draining into our crawl space.  They removed an enormous amount of dirt, and put down secure interlocking pavers in a way that slopes ever so slightly away from the house.  The design we chose is timeless and allows us future creativity in decorating.  Very happy! We had planned on getting the work done later in the year but because we contacted them early in the season we were given a great deal before they got busy in the spring season.  They were able to start nearly immediately and quickly demolished our disorderly handmade paver backyard with deck put in by our previous owners, as well as remove a tree!  Jeremy was our project lead and he was amazing, quickly addressing any concerns we had about the progress of the work.  The work took a little bit longer than was predicted but that was only because of the sheer amount of dirt that needed to be removed from our backyard to level it out.  Jeremy went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect at the end and even helped us set up our landscape lighting and timed water system.  I was able to speak to management after the project and they were wonderful to talk to, sincerely caring about their quality of work and customer happiness.  This company has been around for over 20 years and I'm sure they will be around for another 25 which is the length of their amazing warranty, which is a big reason why we chose to go with them.  I can't recommend this company enough, especially Jeremy who we owe our future relaxing nights in our new backyard to. read more

We highly recommend System Pavers for any hardscape solution you might be considering. We needed to replace a 20+ yo cracking driveway that had been poured. We knew we wanted pavers. The 25 year transferable guarantee that was included was not duplicated by any other of the many contractors that we interviewed for our project. The design process became such an enjoyable process with problem solving part of the event as well. Other companies had no real vision to offer us in terms of creativity. Scott was amazing, listening to our requests, and then offering ideas and suggestions in addition to solutions to what were our problem areas. We are detail oriented and he was quite a pleasure to coordinate with on this fairly extensive project. Materials used by System Pavers are superior to other local carriers which had a huge impact on our contractor selection process. Our project manager was on site daily and in constant contact with us confirming progress was to our expectations. We now have a beautiful driveway, extended parking, outdoor lighting, retaining walls, turf and a new patio which transforms unusable outdoor space to very useable and an added bonus, "green" space. Our added turf (replacement grass) requires no watering, no mowing and no maintenance. It looks fabulous and beautifully green all year long. We had a backyard that sloped towards the house and water collecting there for years and years. We wanted a large rounded patio to be built up against an existing concrete patio and underneath a deck with a spiral staircase from the deck to patio. We used System Pavers about 10 years ago on a driveway and walkway project and we were quite happy, so we decided to use them again. The sales person Ben was good and informative and helped us pick out a greenish interlocking stone which complemented the house color and also the driveway from 10 years ago. He gave us a pretty good price, but we didn't really shop on price. We were looking for reliability. The project manager Mike was also good and came and walked the job to be sure we were all on the same page. I think we got one of their "A" teams with Nelson as the main worker. He and his partner got the entire job done in 3 days - and it was estimated at 5 days. We were impressed with the speed and quality. The new pavers complement the spiral staircase which was just kind of in the dirt before. We're quite inspired to finish the backyard now that we have this new patio. Sitting out on our new Trex Adirondack chairs we make plans for what we'll plant against the fence while drinking wine. I would recommend System Pavers to others definitely. You can probably get work done for less somewhere else, but we were paying for the professionalism and knowing we didn't have to get involved in any of the project details. We are so glad we chose System Pavers for our back patio project. Our initial design consultation with David made it clear that SP was the right choice. I am one happy homeowner who had System Pavers install pavers in my courtyard. My main concern was the slope for water to drain away from the side of the house. Design Consultant Scott Hartman came over and looked over the courtyard and made recommendations how deep the soil would be dug out and how the pavers would be laid out. He also showed me different types of quality pavers to be used to make my courtyard stunning. After our nice visit, I was completely satisfied with Scott to have their company start the job after he went over the drawing plans and specifications. Recently, Project Mananger Michael Cowan and his team crew started and completed work on my courtyard. Michael is very professional, patient, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. I had concerns and questions that developed during the process, and Michael was available to satisfy my concerns and willing to work with me. I also was pleased to see that the crew takes a lot of pride in their workmanship and clean up after installation. In addition, they were very courteous, professional, skillful, and hard workers. After the job was completed, we did a walk through to make sure I was satisfied. All I can say is that I was very happy to see how smoothly the project moved forward and that I made a wise choice going with pavers. We just moved to the Pacific Northwest and were excited to replace our front courtyard which had been landscaped with small pebbles and walking stones. We contacted system pavers to do the job because we wanted a company with a good reputation and are expert in their field. Our first design meeting was with Aaron. He was very helpful in helping us make an informative decision about design and stone choice. This meeting took place in mid August. I was a bit shocked to learn that it would take a couple of "months" to get the project on the schedule. Part of the reason was we needed to get HOA approval which Aaron helped to prepare documents for presentation. The documents were excellent and the project was approved quickly. We began the install beginning of November. Matt was our project manager. He came out beforehand and walked the project and answered all our questions. I found Matt to be very professional and responsive to all the crazy little questions I had. He was onsite many times during the project, checking and making sure things were going as planned. Our project spanned several weeks and some rainy weather. Mario and his two crews took care of all the install. They showed up on-time and worked diligently until project was completed. These guys work really hard to get your stone just perfect and I truly appreciate that. They are good at what they do! Because of clay soils and poor drainage, our back yard was unusable except for a few months in the summer. Our best solution, therefore, was artificial turf. After searching products and vendors, we wanted a company that had a proven track record and a quality product, so we contacted System Pavers. Subsequently the sales representative visited us to detail their product. In addition, she gave us advice on accenting the area surrounding the turf with pavers and finishing the garden wall behind the water feature with decorative caps. A plan was drawn up and a bid for the project was made. Within 2 days the business office confirmed the financing and shortly thereafter we met with the project manager to review the project. Within a week the work was scheduled to start. It was clear the crew that did the work was very experienced and a significant amount of time and material was needed to ensure that the area would properly drain. At the end of each day, the site was cleaned to minimize impacting my neighbor. I had one work-around that involved the drip irrigation, which was resolved by one of the workers who was very knowledgeable with irrigation systems. The project manager kept us informed throughout. Everything was completed in a timely manner. Most importantly, the end result was a product that was top notch and backed by a warranty. I now have a much more esthetically appealing yard that can be used regardless of the season. read more

Our new build home came with an unfinished yard and side passageways. We had previously employed a landscaping company to install a lawn and sprinkler system in the backyard but were not overly impressed with their work. We were looking to transform the side of our house from an uneven, unusable space that was covered in bark chips, to a surface that our kids could run and scoot on. I obtained a number of quotes to have it paved from both landscaping and paving companies. From the outset, System Pavers gave me the confidence that they would produce a high quality job. Testament to this is they provide a 25 year guarantee for all their work. Michael was our assigned project manger for the job and he was fantastic. He immediately opened communication channels so we always had an immediate point of contact for any questions or queries to allow the crew to get on with the job. He was readily contactable and sent numerous updates throughout the process. The job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated when digging began. A number of water lines had not been buried deep enough when the house was built, and bark dust had been used to make the surface look less angled than it actually was. We just completed our second project with System Pavers. Over 15 years ago, we did our front porch and driveway and were very happy with the outcome. This time we replaced our concrete back patio with pavers. Every aspect of the project went well. Our sales person Jadon was very nice, helpful and not pushy in anyway. Once we decided to do the project, communication was good and we were able to sign all the documents online. Jadon provided us with a packet to submit to our HOA. We were contacted by the scheduler once everything was submitted and she gave us a time slot while we waited for our HOA approval. Alex our project manager was wonderful. He was great about communicating with us every step of the way and he made sure any concerns we had were addressed promptly. It was really a pleasure to work with him. We saw him pretty much on a daily basis during the project and he was always prompt in replying to texts. At the end of the project, we had a couple of things that wanted to change and he made sure that happened. Our work crew also did a great job. Lionel was great to work with as well. When you see how hard they work and the skill involved you appreciate the outcome even more. The job did take a couple of days longer than anticipated but that happens. From Start to Finish The gentleman came out and measured and listened to our requests and we went through the photo album, creating our own oasis. They were so professional and took the time to answer all our questions and go step by step through the process. We then got to go select the colors and design we wanted, and meet the rest of the staff. Then they started the process, we had a upper and lower patio put in with a curved walkway attaching them. (I might add my husband's brillant idea, sure tied the two together) It is so wonderful to look out and not have to look at a concrete slab with no personality and a big crack down the center. Instead we have two beautiful outdoor spaces full of varied colors of pavers to admire. We went from slab patio to a wonderful interesting paver patio overnight practically. We are looking forward to finishing landscaping our backyard now. We are looking forward to entertaining this summer on our new outdoor spaces. The thing that attracted us to System Paver's is that they stand behind there product and the installation process has been proven time and time again, that was important to us as consumers. From start to finish, this was a great experience working with System Pavers. We had received a couple of other bids prior to meeting with them, but none of them really took the time to ask us the right questions to understand what we like and what we don't like. Keri was very thorough in her discovery of our personal style, listened to our needs and came up with a wonderful design that both my husband and I could be proud of. Our PM, Jeremy was very responsive and had some great ideas when we got to the lighting stage. His crew was fantastic - truly artists at what they do! We were amazed at how they cut the stones just so to get the tightest fit and a smooth surface to get the curves in the design just right. They even have a customer portal on their website you can use to find out what stage your project is in, make a payment, or contact one of your team members. This part is the only aspect I would say needs a little bit of work - it was stuck on the "order materials" phase for quite a while, even while the crew was working and then finished the job, but otherwise, worked quite well. The project was expensive compared to the other bids we received, but one of them was really close and none of the others brought any design ideas to the table. They were totally worth it and I would definitely hire them again! read more

I needed to replace some gravel areas with solid hardscaping. I asked for recommendations on NextDoor. I received two responses. One was Just Some Guy who showed up looking like he was regurgitated by a cat. He did not seem on the ball and in fact never got back to me. System Pavers was the other. Kerry came out to eyeball the project. He understood why we needed the project and our constraints and worked with us to devise a plan that met our needs at a price we could afford. I then had someone else come out to bid to see how they compared - they were much less specific about the process and the end results, and were no less expensive. System Pavers was the obvious choice for professionalism and confidence that the project would be done properly. I had expected a car-dealer type hard sell / upsell but was pleasantly surprised. When an unexpected hit to our finances appeared close to our start date, SP was understanding and pushed the project out to after my tax return was anticipated. There was a bit of misunderstanding about materials but Kerry came back out and we resolved the issue while still maintaining a close match with our existing materials. WE HAVE A NEW PORCH!!!! We feel like we've added a new room to our home. We now sit on the new and inviting porch to visit with family and neighbors, whereas we never felt inclined to do so on our old porch. We also had our driveway replaced and two sidewalks installed, one leading to our home entrance and to our front porch, the other leading to our back yard. The workers were very hard working, efficient, exacting, and professional. Our Senior Design Consultant, JP Pierce, and our Project Manager, Matt Lemon, were both very helpful, friendly, professional, as well as quick to respond to our needs and inquiries. We enjoyed them both. We had many neighbors stop to review and admire the project. We are certain the value of our home has been considerably increased. We also appreciated the financing System Pavers offered in their special of "18 months with no interest." That allowed us to pay for the project over time and not have to pay the full cost at one time, which would have required dipping into our retirement. We LOVE the 25 year guarantee and there will be no cracks :-) as there would have been with cement!!!! System Pavers cost more, but we feel it was well worth it. I am a happy long term owner of a beautiful front walkway installed by System Pavers in 2010. It is one of the best investments my husband and I made in our home. it's beautiful and has held up for 15 years. Last month two of the pavers by our front door sank. It turns out that an opossum had dug a tunnel under the path to our front porch, which allowed the stones to sink. We humanely evicted the animal and called System Pavers to schedule a repair. Imagine my surprise when System Pavers said it was covered under their warranty. Silas got it scheduled and the next day , Jose and Antonio came. On time when they said they would arrive. We laughed about suburban wildlife and the unwitting damage the animal had done. They assessed the situation. They went for some extra supplies, returned and reinforced the base of the pathway and reinstalled the pavers. They were polite, professional and completed the work in about an hour. I was super impressed! Even better, there was no charge, because this was indeed covered by the warranty. (Even the extra supplies that were needed.) This is a quality company, that does bespoke work, and stands behind their product. When they say 25 year warranty, they mean it. I'm a highly satisfied customer. read more
