Braiden, project manager, and his crew of Victor, Jose and Danny were easy to work with and were good communicators throughout the project. They were on time and on budget, with a slight adjustment for pavers around the pergola. They always cleaned up the worksite at the end of the day and there was no accidental damage to the property. Unprofessional. I was late to the initial meeting at my house as I was finishing up another quote that extended past the projected timeline for a roof job and could tell Brayden was visibly upset when the roofer said "it's alright we're friends!" And Braden just replied, "..sure." Once we got the visual planning and measurements going I was having trouble conveying my thoughts and understanding the logistics of Brayden's response and after the third or so go around on excavating vs retaining wall heights he got frustrated and said this isn't the job for him and left. I feel really bad about upsetting him so much but at the same time I feel like he lacked the patience to see past an initial misunderstanding, followed up by an earnest attempt by me trying to understand the logistics of the project that I was asking about. He even went on to say I was disrespecting him for stating that it may just have been a large undertaking. I meant no disrespect I just meant to express my ignorance in the field and I was trying to make light of the fact that I'm no expert and I don't know the feasibility of what I'm asking for. 1 star for making me feel 2 inches tall and storming off on me for having trouble understanding Braden his inability to remain patient and walk me through it or just put it on the back burner and say I can show you what I mean later in the design if you wish to proceed. Edit: Saying that my leaving a 1 star review to damage Prestige's reputation is removing responsibility from yourself damaging their reputation. When you are wearing a uniform you a representing a company in all of your actions, especially how you present yourself. 1 star for Braiden = 1 star for Prestige. read more

We've had consistent water drainage issues in our backyard, and the pre-existing French drain was clogged or otherwise not working. Patrick came out to give an estimate and spent at least 30 minutes investigating. His bid came in a little lower than another company, but what was really impressive was that he explained exactly why the existing drain wasn't working -- the ground was non-porous clay, so the water would just pool there and not soak in. His proposal was to dig out the old trench, install a proper pipe, and fill with river rock for more absorption. On the day of the project, he introduced me to his crew of four. They were friendly and respectful, and during the project, they brought things to our attention -- for example, there was a pipe running to the street from the end of the old French drain. It was clogged, however, so they cleared it by flushing it with water; they recommended that we have it cleared it every couple of years or so. The final project looks great! I'm eager for another rainy night to see how well it works. read more

Prestige just transformed a wall of out -of- control bamboo in my back garden into a manageable privacy hedge. My neighbor, who shares the 'wall', is delighted with the work as well. We had a great experience using Patrick and his team at Prestige. Our backyard was a mess after tearing out a deck, hot tub, and bricks that were being destroyed by tree roots. The ground was an uneven mud pit. Patrick had great, detailed ideas of how we could transform the space. We had flagstone put in that connected various walkways and provided a flat area for a fire pit, table, etc. Patrick recommended planting the new grass from seed, as there were more options as to type of seed, and seed planting would eventually root better than sod. We appreciated the recommendation, especially considering that seed is cheaper than sod. Prestige also put in a new gate. The work was done very well and exactly on time. The flagstone looks fantastic and the grass is now fully grown. Patrick took the lead on a lot of the design (exact dimensions of the grass, where to put bark chips, etc.) and I really appreciated having his expertise. We hired Patrick to clean up and maintain the steep forested landscape of our rental home. Even though it took about a month for him to work us into his schedule (since we called at the peak of the season) it was definitely worth the wait! Patrick was very knowledgeable about everything growing on the property and was more than willing to answer any questions.
