These guys were 1/4 price of 9+ other movers. It was a "too good to be true" price. But Alison seemed reliable and answered emails quickly so I took a chance. After 7 years in my Midtown apartment, I am finally moving out. Hundreds of moving companies called me when I threw several messages inquiring about moving companies here on Yelp. Systematic Moving owned by Konstantin gave me the best deal! He was very responsive through emails, phone calls and texts. The day of the move, Alex - brother of Konstantin and Joseph showed up to help to me. They are both super cool and good people! After the initial signing of the contract, both of them speedily but carefully wrapped my stuff and loaded them on the truck! Alex made sure that everything was smooth, clean and on time! Joseph even helped me take down the customized fixed window blinds. Moving might be one of the hardest thing to do but these guys did a great job that I still had energy to go to work then party for St Patricks! ;) read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Do NOT use this company. It is a complete scam. We got told one price at the beginning and they changed it multiple times. Once we got to our building they said it was going to be an extra $100 and if we didn't pay it they wouldn't take our belongings out of their van. Finally after a huge argument they moved our things. Do not go through the hassle and use ANYONE else. It seems like a good deal but it is all a complete lie they will find anything to charge you and change their price once they hold your things hostage. They also demanded a tip! The last time I checked tips are for good service! Update: Id like to include that you were not there Alison and your account is inaccurate to favor your company. You also called me trying to get me to take down my review. We were informed of the COI price which we had no problem paying. They left the storage place the same time as my roommate but arrived 45 minutes after her to our apt. We had to pay for extra boxes that originally we were told we would not need for a dresser and mirror. The mirror I had pre wrapped but they made us pay for additional wrap or they would not move it.My roommate had to threaten to call the police because of the way the movers treated her. She called me crying at work because she is a young woman while two men are screaming at her that they aren't going to take our furniture out for us. She then had to move the furniture up herself with one of the men while the other man stayed downstairs. Do not use this company there are plenty of other NYC moving companies to use instead of this one. This company is unprofessional, rude, and a scam. I'd also like to add -- take a look at your average rating. It's one star. Could not speak highly enough about Systematic Moving & Delivery! They gave me a very competitive quote that I jumped on. They wrapped my fragile items, like a giant floor length mirror and a glass dining table, with a lot of care. It all arrived safely and even after conquering a walkup, they took the time to place each piece in the rooms where I needed it. For New Yorkers like you and me, This is a must-escape. I don't recommend them to anyone who plans for a professional moving service. What a mess. This company is a big night mare. Don't put down the 100 security deposit. It's too much trust for the incompetent team. I scheduled a curb to curb job from one storage and to another storage. During the moving, after they breached their contract, they threatened to hold my stuff until I put down cash to finish the job. They breached the contract and put me and my partner on the spot of a moving situation. I'm investigating into legal procedures to solve this. All started from the scheduler Chana who lied and coordinated the job. The day prior to the moving, I exchanged emails with him many times and confirmed the hours of the job will start at 10 am with 2 movers. He was out on the day of the job and nothing was as the contracted. 10 am, no show. Called the office, Alec said the job is only for 1 mover, and would be there at 12. He didn't care what was exchanged in emails or what was the plan, although was an extensively-documented conversation. He couldn't hear a thing when things were about their mis-scheduling, bossy, unapologetic. A bully. Won't make a deal. Won't admit fault. He was counting that I would take up much more time and missed my contract estimate. I didn't. Because I am organized, I didn't count on others' fault to make money. I highly doubted Alec's incentive, he was counting on clients being late so he can sit and charge. But he didn't know who he is dealing with this time. The mover called me around 10:20 and said he went to pick up a package (and that was not related to me) and would be coming to my appointment at 11:30. I asked if he was accompanied by another mover, he said he was alone. I asked about a platform to move up my shelves, he said he had a platform to get up things. Called Alec again, I said this isn't acceptable. He yelled 'I can cancel the job for you.' But that meant my security deposit would be taken because of your fault. Geez, I had to trust you and put down 100.00; I got all of my stuff out to trust you to show up; I called when things fell into the cracks and I was under high pressure when waiting for this company to put their act together to fulfill their contract. All he can think of is just that he can make that 100.00 security deposit for no work. THIS IS A SCAM. This is an unethical business, this is building up incentive to make money out of mis-diligence. Because he thinks clients don't have an option when they are engaged with a task that has many consequences in a day in New York. 11:40, not anywhere near. 12:20 Two movers called me but we found out that they were at a wrong location. Alec told them the wrong direction. When they arrived, they told me they didn't have a ramp. We had to change all the plans and dismantle the packed equipment. When we arrived at the drop off location, I found some of my equipment were bent may've fallen. I have to check and find out if any things are broken now. Alec screamed at me over the phone for calling him to coordinate what to do about the payment and their wrong doing. 'Why do you keep calling me?' He is by no means a a stable person and not a competent business practitioner. Blaming a 2:40 minute late job to New York City traffic, while this all started from the scheduler Chana who made a mistake, and haunted the whole trip. Full cover-up, organized scam. Alison picked up all the slack from Chana and was very helpful and great. I regret that I couldn't have her. The movers were sweet, loading and offloading was about 20 min each round, fast and reasonable. However, unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy them due to the main screwed up happened from their boss Alec. I won't recommend this business at all. read more

I booked a month from move-out/in date, entered into a contract with Systematic, and put a $100 deposit down. I was thrilled with a company that had only positive reviews. However, three days prior to move-out the company CANCELLED on me. Unfortunately this stuck me with the extra costs of finding a mover last minute at significantly higher rates than what I was quoted a month earlier by the same companies. Great company! Quick to get back to you on quotes and pricing is reasonable flat rates. Alex was very friendly and professional from the start, was even able to work around my schedule without hesitation. He was extremely helpful and quick to move all my things out of my apartment even while it was raining. I would definitely recomend this company to anyone and definitely my friends. Only thing, if you are in a hurry to get your stuff to your new place make sure you tell him ahead of time, just because he can get pretty busy fast.
