No sesame on my chicken and the lady tells me to come pick up sesame when I called her. Two orders for $35 including tip. Other meal which was chicken and broccoli had 6 pieces of chicken Ton of broccoli and a tiny container. When I asked for fried rice with my meal she seemed annoyed and said that's extra. When I ask for extra green onions, less wontons and more broth she still says that's extra, whatever I pay it even tho they are saving a few wontons. Ink my order sesame chicken because of the sesame and only eat the ones that have sesame on them which is only top layer. I've been coming here for a few years (since I moved from Vernon to Hamburg) and the food is generally ok. I ordered take out this evening and my order was all screwed up. I ordered a quart of house special fried rice (everything was fine) and a pint of beef and broccoli. I also ordered a large order (a quart, right?) of boneless ribs (@ $12... you know... it had better be a quart) and an order of "beef in a stick" and a few egg rolls. The beef and broccoli SHOULD have been called gravy, broccoli, and a few pieces of stringy meat. Wow. Big disappointment. The beef in a stick came with ONE piece of beef. ONE. Usually there are three. What the heck? The "large" order of boneless ribs was a ($5.00) lunch special with fried rice and a few measly pieces of ribs. On e I got home and unloaded the food I noticed all the issues. I called the restaurant and the counter person (young girl- maybe 18-19?) said "oh, yeah- I only charged you for one beef stick." Since I paid almost $34.00 I'm kinda wondering what the F*** else I paid for that I didn't get? VERY disappointed. Too bad that my order wasn't important enough. I won't be back- I'll drive the extra 5 miles to go to China Star in Vernon. I hope that the management reads this and makes some changes. If what you order isn't what you're getting - at least have the common courtesy to point it our to the customer before you ring them up and take their money. read more

Dirtiest place i have ever been to. Every time i order my food is not correct. Found a hair 3 times. Guess i learned my lesson. The people are beyond ruDe and their food is cold and nasty (only reason I order is because it is the only thing in my town besides fast food) absolutely disgusting and the hair in my food was even more disgusting. Staff was really nice, it's a shame because the food wasn't. Tried the combos, boneless rib and sesame chicken. I asked for my ribs well done, they were barely cooked. Sesame chicken was ok, but the sauce was too sweet. Same problem with the ribs, too sweet. Fried rice was ok, veggies inside it were most likely frozen though. Eggs rolls were mediocre. NOW, for the appetizer we ordered. Tried an order of fried wontons, they were barely warm and chewy, like they had been sitting around for a day or two, and the meat inside them...I've never had dog meat before but if I had to imagine what it tastes like, it would taste like the meat in those wontons, just absolutely gross. There are a few times in life when you've wandered into an unknown eatery for the first time, perhaps while travelling out of town or a place in your town that you have just never tried and even though it's dirty and smelly, the decor is minimal and tacky and its against your better judgement to eat there but you decide to try it anyway, and it actually turns out to be really good. I've been searching for a good Chinese restaurant since I moved to the area that has good take out that doesn't cost $20 a person for take out like Wok and Sushi does. A good place around here would prosper I guarantee it. So I had high hopes when I got a mailer for this place. I thought it was newly opened but apparently I just didn't ever notice the place. At my age I should have just done what I thought I should do and walk out the moment I walked in and th odor of this filthy place hit my nose. It wasn't like a food cooking odor, it was like a food spoiling odor mixed with rotten eggs and the smell of a restaurants dirty grease traps. The floor was filthy, the decor must have cost them all of $4, they are hawking costume jewelry on a small table by the door as you walk in, the sound of What I believe was some sort of popular Chinese music was blaring obviously for the enjoyment of the young lady at the register. She was polite and friendly btw. But the moment that I realized it's early Friday night and there's one table of two and one person waiting for take out, I should have ran and fast. At this point I was still under the impression that they had just opened and perhaps they were just starting out and dint have much money to open a restaurant, but hoping that their great food was going to save them and it would blossom into a very busy place to eat out. Instead I should have realized that this isn't an up and coming place, it's a dying place. It's gross inside because they have no customers. The huge new sign out front hanging from the roof advertising 15% off all orders is a sure fire giveaway that they are desperate for business. So how was it? In order three things. One of which was not what I ordered. I asked for shrimp and Chinese vegetables, and I got shrimp and some awful red brown sauce that I couldn't even pallet. So ok I still had two reliable standbys to fill me up. House special Lo Mein and Yat gow Mein soup. It's a simple soulless with noodles, chicken broth and big pieces of roast pork a some veggies. It's usually cheap plentiful and hard to screw up at every other place I've ordered it. What I got was expensive, about 2-3" from the top of the container, two pieces of grey roast pork, but it just had unpleasant flavor. It was not good at all. Ok now the LoMein, well it was terrible. I've never received dry LoMein like this. And it tasted terrible. One of the two shrimp in it was not deveined, it was just terrible. The white rice was ok though so that was my dinner tonight. I threw all of the food out because it was truly awful. I'd give this place no more than another month or two before they close the doors. What a shame. They had a great location in a super busy strip mall on Rt 23 in the heart of Franklin NJ. Thousands of cars must drive by this place daily, a place can be ugly inside and even a little bit dirty as long as the tables and utensils are clean and it's going to be ok if the food is terrific. This place doesn't have one single thing going for it that I could see. It's really bad. Try it and tell me I a wrong. Just walk in and get whiff of the stench. You'll know right away I speak the truth about every word I've said about this dump. read more

Does not get any worse than this. Food is awful, rude owners, the place looks run down, and I would recommend it if you like Chinese McDonalds. Stay away, the long review in this list is 100% correct. I came here when we first moved to Franklin 17 yrs ago, I was stunned how they stay in business. This place was OK for a long time. And then they lost it. I used to order the Udon soups, lunch specials, etc. Their prices went up with the new owners, but it was still a decent price. Then, I noticed the quality of the food declined. What made me STOP going here was the PuPu Platter I ordered, and the egg drop soup. The MEAT WAS OLD in the pupu platter. Like, you could TASTE it and the texture was weird. The egg drop soup had a strong egg-y taste that wasn't normal. AND then, I saw black spots in the eggs. The eggs were OLD. GROSS! I threw it out. My friend with whom I shared the pu pu platter (he had most of the meat before we tossed it) had diarrhea 1 hour later and felt nausea. NOT COOL. I believe that they are cutting corners too much, because they are losing $$$. If you think it's OK to give me old food and then charge me for it, you've struck out. Go to "Wok & Sushi" in Franklin or "Good Taste" Chinese restaurant in Hamburg. NOTE: IF they are this dirty and unconcerned with COOKED food, are you REALLY going to chance it on their SUSHI??!!!
