They are frauds. Took my vehicle for a simple repair and they told my husband that our suv has like 20 issues that needed to get fixed. My husband told Felix that he only wanted 1 thing replaced because that's the only reason we took our vehicle for but he was pushing for our vehicle to get all supposed issues fixed. He quoted my husband $660 and after almost a month in the shop my husband called to see if it was ready only to be told we needed to pay $1,000 or else they would keep my vehicle. Every time I take my car they fix one problem and create 3 more. Last time I took my car for an electric issue they had my car over one month, they never told me how much the diagnostic will be, they took my car to another guy that was an stereo guy to check something electric, with out asking for my authorization. They broke my wind shield wile they had it with them so needed to also buy a new one. They didn't smoked the electric issue after changing multiple parts and charging me over 1k. UPDATE 1/22 THE SHOP WAS FINED BY THE STATE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR AGENCY FOR FRAUDULENT AND IMPROPER BILLING. THE AGENCY TOLD FELIX TO RETURN MY MONEY AND HE REFUSED. It's ok, I had the findings subpoenaed and will be seeing him in small claims court) A living nightmare. My car left the shop in worse condition than when I brought it in. $400 later and now I have to get someone to fix the mistakes of this mechanic. If you want to call him that. I initially got a quote from this (Felix) mechanic for the installation of a water pump I had purchased. He said 350. Not bad at all! Well, I went with another mobile mechanic whom I had gotten work from before who quoted me 300. Well, you get what you pay for, the mobile mechanic took two days and left the job. He managed to get the water pump in and the timing belt. Well the car wouldn't start, (it ended up being a dead battery). I had the car towed to Felix's auto shop to get fixed. This is when things got interesting. He lectured me for not going to him, and I said, I know I know, I was very polite to him. He said that he would call me. Keep in mind I need my car for work every day. Well, Friday passes, Saturday passes and I get him on the phone towards the end of the day. He says he'll call by the end of the day to let me know what is going on. what he was going to be working on. So he comes over, irritated, and then immediately lectures me again about how I got the wrong mechanic to do the job. I am polite, leave, and trust that he'll call me when the car is finished. At this point I am a bit concerned that he has not talked to me about any repairs or what exactly he is doing. Monday passes, finally I get him on the phone towards the end of the day. By the end of the day I mean 15 minutes before they close. I ask how much it will be. He says $400. I said $400 for what? He said the timing belt was bad from the kit I had originally purchased, and that he would replace the belt instead of me getting the part. So I think he is replacing the timing belt. Wrong. He did not do anything. He jumpstarted the car. Upon leaving I see the check engine light come on in the car starting to shake. It overheats, and I'm on the side of the road. Unbelievable, so I call him and ask him if he tested the car on the road. That the check engine light is on, seems to be overheating, and the car is in bad shape. He said he didn't like me, so he wasn't going do anything for me. I said over charge me $400? (Keep in mind , I work hard and struggle to make ends meet, I had to get a loan to pay this money. A loan with a gigantic APR which produced a car that is not fit for the road and is broken down. The car was in worse shape than when I brought it in. And I trusted him. This man did not put aside personal bias in repairing my car, he didn't do anything to it . Now I have to go figure out how I'm going to get it fixed by someone with honesty, integrity, and kindness. I'm going to have to get the car towed, and I honestly don't even have the money for that. I've never encountered a bad mechanic before, but this guy is it. When I had my car towed to him, I had full faith and trust that he would get my car back in action. On the phone he literally said he did nothing. I genuinely think a bad human to make decisions like these. It's like a Doctor Who gives the wrong pills and decides not to treat Someone. It can happen, sure... But it is one of the most vile and disgusting things you can imagine doing to someone. Is this the kind of mechanic you want working on your car? I took out a loan with a ridiculous APR to pay him. This guy is not it. Trust me. He broke the law by not telling me what job he was going to do and how much it would be. He also broke the law by not doing any repairs. I want to warn anyone who is considering going to this guy. Don't do it. I wonder how this guy can sleep at night? He gave me a car back minus $400 without anything fixed because he didn't like the way I spoke with him. read more

Felix and his crew are kind, fair priced, and honest. I regularly get my oil done at the dealership and they usually quote me an astronomical amount for additional repairs and regular maintenance outside of oil changes. Each time I've taken that list of recommendations to Felix and his guys they have quoted me less than a quarter of the price. They are honest about services that may cost a bit more and are fair in their pricing for labor fees. They do the legwork by going to the dealership to get the parts that they need and they don't punish me in their pricing. Also, they are really good at explaining to me what they've done or what needs to be done with my car. This is helpful for me as I know very little about vehicle maintenance and repairs. I will continue to go to Felix any time my car needs to be worked on! And I highly recommend that you do too. read more

These guys park multiple cars on my block everyday....they send an older gentleman out to move not one, but multiple cars that should be parked on their lot onto our residential street around the corner from their shop as soon as the street cleaning restrictions end and everyone is at work. They got towed once for not obeying a temporary no parking sign posted by LA D.O.T. and they threatened to sue everyone in the house in front of where they parked because they claimed that they have been illegally stealing parking from residents on the street for over 20 years so at this point they feel entitled to be able to do it forever...hmm..ok...that makes sense... Parking in our neighborhood is at such a premium that it is totally unacceptable and they know it but DGAF...just giving you some ethical insight to the type of business you are dealing with... read more

This place is incredible! They fixed my car in just a few hours, in the rain, on New Years Eve, for about half what I expected to pay. That sounds crazy but it's the truth haha. Pep Boys tried 3 or 4 times to do the work T&A got done on the spot, first try. They showed me exactly what was wrong and how they fixed it.
