I was verbally phone quoted 2 hours or so to have a used braking system installed in my toad a 1986 suzuki samurai, she said 400 to 450.00 since it was used....Well i get a phone call and asked if I want to continue with the installation I`m a bit perplexed by the call as I was under the impression that wiring in the toads rear tail lights were all part of the installation but that was not the case, they charged me 750.00 not the 400-450.00 discussed on the phone, and for 750.00 they just placed the vacuum unit on the floor behind the rear seat ran a vacuum hose to the brake booster, ran and mounted the operating cylinder to the brake pedal and hooked up power to the unit...wires and hoses just laying on top of carpet...Piss poor work to say the least and maybe 1 hour worth of work...To hook up the toads rear lights would have been in total over 1000.00...DO NOT under any circumstances take your vehicle to these rip offs....This just so wrong on so many levels i just cannot grasp the level of flat out lying going on there...SMH

He also put a toggle switch inside the battery box. Then he installed a new toilet, replaced the foot of my tongue jack support with a substantial large support. He checked under the shower stall where we have a soft spot. He didn't have time to replace the anode on the water heater but he gifted me a nearly new one that I can inst myself. They charged $160 for a diagnostic which would be fine except I gave them the report from AutoZone who had run a diagnostic hours prior. And typically when you do the work, a garage will then credit that diagnostic fee to the work being done. They charged $604 total after I protested about the spark plug parts cost. Originally they wanted $200 for the spark plugs part. After protesting, they charged $176 for the Spark Plugs (parts) alone. $240 for the labor and $160 to diagnose something that was already diagnosed. When I told them the max fee for spark plus is $50, (I'm ok with companies marking-up costs but not at over 240%), they gave me $40 off. Still an astronomic cost for changing spark plugs, especially in Tucson. They did give me my car back in 1 day though, which I appreciated.

So I would suggest checking other mobile repair services before this one. Plus the service person told me that my situation could be repaired but after paying them for the visit they later refused to make repairs. I would suggest if you use this repair service get the service tech to give you something in writing on the assessment. I had asked to speak to the owner, but I was told by the manager that the owner was away due to a funeral and would have him give me a call. I never received a return call. Don't think this repair service is actually a pro. My recommendation is to avoid them. I would like to respond to the owners reply below. Being his service works on slide outs, he should be aware that there is no way to take the motorhome to a repair facility. (Recommended in the report provided. ) Cannot drive it with the slide stuck out nor will a tow service tow it. So why did another mobile repair service agree to work on it without requiring the removal of the entire slide. I had an issue with the slide at my home in PA. and that mobile repair was able to fix it without removal of the slide. Apparently your service is not competent. Why did your repair guy tell me that the slide could be repaired but later refusing to do the repair. Why did you not give me a call back so it could be discussed privately? Now its made public.

Another tech arrived in support and they thought the problem was fixed and that the water would heat. The first tech said to call or text him if it did not. This was on a Thursday afternoon. When the water did not heat, a text was sent to the first tech with no response. A call was then made to the office and again the receptionist was rude stating that no one could come out until the following Monday. An appointment was made for Monday. I called the office on Monday morning to inquire about charges for another call since the problem was not fixed but the rude and curt receptionist was less than helpful about potential cost. I then cancelled the second trip deciding to go with another company.

This place is a joke called yesterday and they said they can get my vehicle in the next day yeah he…read moregave me a rough estimate over the phone but when I get there this morning I asked him to give me a rough estimate in writing so I won't expect any surprises he said no I talked to you on the phone yesterday he said if you don't trust me or you don't like it you can take your vehicle somewhere else so I gladly snatch my keys off the counter and we'll take my truck to Simmons 4x4 shop the way I see it if you got to wait a few days to get your vehicle in a shop obviously they got a lot of business going through there so they must be good at what they're doing.
