STOP -- READ THIS. Shawn and his son did an incredible job installing a new (and very heavy) Dometic A/C + Heat Pump on the roof of our Airstream travel trailer -- not an easy task. This is the second time we have used Big Sky RV Repair. First time they installed an air conditioner on our RV. This time, they installed two new awnings plus replaced a slide cover. Both experiences were excellent. They responded to us to set appointments. They showed up on time, listened to our concerns, gave us reasonable quotes for both jobs. Our 38 ft diesel pusher needed "critical" fixes like the furnace, the fresh water tank and the back up camera, battery maintenance and more "cosmetic" fixes like wall and wallpaper repair, broken outlets, etc. Shawn was patient, methodical and creative. He gave us DIY tips on several things, worked with our extended warranty company and quoted us pricing for a couple of future service and interior items. I needed someone to come out and do a thorough check-up on my RV before my warranty expired. I called Shawn and he was excellent! We were getting ready for a trip on Tuesday and discovered the house batteries were dead on Saturday. This morning (Monday) we called Big Sky. It is very difficult to find reliable and professional service in the RV business in Tucson, AZ. If you've ever owned an RV, you know it's not as bad as maintaining a boat but not far off. The problem in Tucson, I guess, is the demand for RV service exceeds the supply. A friend found Big Sky Mobile RV Service by accident and suggest them to me. Shawn has fixed multiple issues on my 2014 Fleetwood Discovery 40G, performed routine maintenance and fixed a botched new battery install by another RV Shop. Their screw up compromised a strap fuse, which was a complicated thing to troubleshoot. He acquired schematics from Freightliner and navigated the electrical system quickly and professionally. He is very experienced, honest and reasonably priced in a market where most of the dealer service providers are desperately inadequate, as are other mobile service providers I tried before. He even worked with my warranty company for warranted repairs leaving me to only pay the $100 deductible. read more
