The air conditioning went out and the Tucson heat is climbing. They got us in within 24 hours and replaced the blower motor. Keven ordered another part that would have cost an additional $1000, ( they would have had to take out the dash) but once the motor was in it wasn't needed. This is an honest shop. Also we only have one rig in Tucson....we're snow Roadrunners ( natives to Tucson) and my husband had a new hip last week and I needed to get him to PT. They were fast and efficient while I waited at the shop. Keven even gave gave me a ride to a pickleball court that wasn't there and offered to take me to another one! We will NEVER trust our RV to anyone but Lee Shuck at Blue Sky RV. He is a miracle worker and also…read morehappens to be one of the nicest, most trustworthy guys you will ever meet. Here's why: Last summer we bought a used Class B RV from a well-known Tucson dealer and also bought a 4-year warranty (essential if your RV is used). One trip across country later, our air conditioner broke, one of the electric ceiling vents/fans would not open (which made the lack of a/c on 95 degree nights worse), and we were having continuing alternator/battery problems. The final insult was when we got home and the main slide became stuck in the extended position in our driveway. We thought the RV would have to be towed to Tucson because of the slide sticking out. Fortunately, Lee Shuck of Blue Sky RV came to the rescue. He (1) drove to us (from Marana to Rio Rico), (2) correctly diagnosed these problems and more, (3) contacted our warranty company, (4) arranged for a company inspector to come down from Phoenix, (5) came back down to be here during the inspection although he wasn't required to, (6) convinced the inspector that these issues could not possibly have been pre-existing problems which is a common "out" for warranty companies - Lee later told us this is why he is present at warranty inspections, and (7) repaired all the problems at the warranty company's expense. Since then I have called Lee several times just to get his advice. He always graciously answers my questions. We have just hired Blue Sky RV to (1) replace all the old carpet and vinyl flooring in our RV with big-dog-friendly (e.g. NO CARPET) flooring, (2) replace the awning that was ripped off during Hurricane Isaac, and (3) install a towing system for our old Subaru. Lee's prices are more than fair, and as a fellow RV owner who tows a similar weight car, he was able to tell me with authority about the minimal impact of towing on my gas mileage. We also need a tuneup and systems maintenance, but Lee doesn't do that. He sticks to repairing RVs and said he can't be an expert in everything. I appreciate his honesty. He told me where HE takes his RV. I will post a review after that work is done.
