My husband booked a Mother's Day surprise for me and our four daughters at Tina Nail Spa, and I can honestly say this was one of the best salon experiences we've ever had! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We never felt rushed once. They made sure every single detail was exactly how we wanted it -- from the nail length, shape, filing, trimming, and colors. They truly cared that we loved our nails before we left. I had trouble choosing a color and they patiently let me try multiple colors until I found the perfect one. They never made me feel like a bother, and they absolutely did not disappoint! If something needed fixing or touching up, they happily corrected it right away. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and sanitized everything was. They constantly cleaned and sterilized as they worked, and unlike some salons, the nail polish smell wasn't overpowering at all. They were also AMAZING with kids. We've been to salons before where children didn't feel welcome, but this place treated my daughters so kindly. They even offered candy to the kids and made all of us feel comfortable and special. We were greeted with smiles and taken right in. My girls and I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and so happy. The staff was quick, professional, and genuinely caring. I went to get a pedicure for a wedding here and the girl completely tore my feet up with the heel scrapper. After leaving my toes were completely tore up with skin flaking off and small cuts all over my toes. I called to let them know about the cuts and to ask about cleaning solutions they use on their tools and the man on the phone told me to "go to the doctor." I asked if I could have a credit or reimbursed and he laughed and told me "I will just treat you when you come in next." I am extremely disappointed and concerned for infection. I am a registered nurse and let them know that there is huge risk for infection as well. read more

I've always been very happy with the way that my pedicure turns out. My husband enjoys his also. Unfortunately some of the girls do not understand much English. There's a lot of sign language going on lol. I would go out of my way to go to T&L Nails. read more

I had just went today (6/7) to get my nails done for my senior ball, i called during school around 10:30am this morning dow an appointment, i had my appointment booked for 1:40. I got to the Nail spa around 1:30. I got told i'd be helped soon. I waited in the chair until around 2:05-2:10 before getting talked to. I went to go show my design and immediately got told i was wrong when I booked my appointment, causing everyone to look at me, While I was in complete embarrassment as the other people in the Spa were looking at me. My Nail "Tech" proceeded to talk to her co-worker and laugh the whole time I was in the chair. The nail Tech she was talking to was talking to her client about me as well, sitting in pure embarrassment I say there for the 2 hours upset as i was being laughed at and talked about Right in front of my face. You'd think an establishment that's popular would have a bit more manner, apparently not. I would recommend this place as the last option to go to on grant ave. Worse manicure I've ever received. Gel was all over my cuticles and fingers. The owner of the establishment was who serviced me. Didn't trim or shape my nails. No exfoliation, lotion or hot towel. If I could give a negative star I would. We had a party of eight. We specifically asked if they would have enough people working to accommodate us and they did not. We were there for over 3 hours and all of the manis and pedis were terrible. I paid as much for the guys as I did for full nails for the girls. The best part was when I paid extra for one bridesmaid, the one black person in the bridal party. I mean, what the heck? I paid a small fortune (one third of what I paid the caterer) and nails are falling off, polish is chipping and it's only been two days. Horrible experience. Went to this place a few days before we where heading off to Florida for 2 weeks, made a reservation for 6pm. I was done in 10mins. My partner however ended up bleeding from the back of her heal from him grating her foot too deep. She told him to stop but he would just move to a different spot. When he did the nail polish he put her flip flops on while she still had the toe foams on her feet. Ruined the polish. Was a good trip but would of been better if she didn't have a sore foot!! read more

This place needs work. The nail techs were arguing loudly in front of all of the customers. The stations were dirty and broken. The loudest nail tech was rude. I tipped the tech that did most of my manicure because the loud main tech was very mean and aggressive towards her and I felt bad. Absolutely awful! The people were very rude when we walked in. My friends and I went in for a gel manicures and all three manicures were terrible. All three of us were cut, and we have bumps and indents on our nails. I could have done a better job myself. We will not be going back. read more

After being at other nail salons I found this place less than desirable. My toe nails and my fingernails have bubbles in the polish. It was rushed and each persons experience was not the same. I do not recommend going here! read more

This deserved no stars. I just left the place and they were very rude. They did not take their nor did they speak to me. She treated me as if I was not there and talked in her language to her co workers. They kept looking at me and laughing and I felt very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place at all. I don't get why they can't just speak in English instead insulting their customers in their language. Not to mention they did not do a good job at all. I prefer to have them take their time on my nails and talk to me. They didn't say one word to me beside "water" when they wanted me to put my foot in the water. Fwiw, I only write reviews when I'm amazed that a business is still operating, but I'm guessing there are few options in this area, I acknowledge that the owner/manager-who did not do my service- is a cut above the others in the shop, and I failed to check Yelp in my rush to find a salon. This was easily the worst mani-pedi I've had. Several of my cuticles got a bloodbath. I recoiled when the manicurist clearly cut too deep, and she just looked at me and smiled. This may have been because she spoke almost no English. I am pretty patient with that as I travel a lot, but it took three times to get across which paint I wanted on my fingers and which I wanted on my toes and she frequently relied on the owner to translate. Lotion was not applied to my hands and was barely applied to my feet. The bead scrub was one quick smear up and then rinsed. The sides of my nails beds do not have polish or have crooked lines of polish. I went swimming the day after and the polish came halfway off of one nail and chipped off another nail. I'm thinking that's because the manicurist flooded the polish bottle with alcohol to recover it from clumps and dryness. read more
