Our server was new, so we had to What we got: *Cheese curds - these were good, but I've had better. *Chislic - we thought these were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed these! *Mushroom and swiss burger upgraded to buffalo meat - this was very tasty and enjoyed. Service was a little slow at times as our server was new. She was overwhelmed, but we understood as it was a busy night. Definitely recommend Thirstys if you are in the area!

I think this must be a family owned place, because at some point, I saw a 13 year old (ish) boy clearing tables and handing out candy at the tables. We were sitting for quite a while before anyone noticed us and brought menus. But once we did get the attention of our waitress, she was very nice. There's a kids menu with the typical offerings. They mostly have the standard beers and a handful of local offerings. I had the hazy pineapple beer, and it was okay. My husband tried a local IPA, and he liked it. I had the fried shrimp and the housemade potato chips. They make their own chips (good, although unevenly salted) and they come with a delicious french onion dip, just like the stuff I remember from childhood. My husband and I couldn't get enough. The menu is otherwise pretty burger-based, but that's fine for a setting like this. They have a pool table that takes quarters. That kept the kids occupied while the adults were able to watch some of the March Madness fun.
