We had a problem with both of our sink and tub in the master being clogged and I was initially thinking it'll probably be a two day sort of job. Proven wrong! They came on time and completely fixed everything same day. And also, they cleaned up and were considerate enough to not want to ruin my towels, suggesting paper towels or toilet paper instead. That was deeply unexpected and much appreciated! They also told us that we needed to buy a hair catcher/basket strainer for our bathtub so that we can avoid this problem again. Steer clear of this unethical company. They are not upfront about dispatch fee and charge arbitrarily high fees after no diagnostic or work done. Among residential plumbing companies, the vast majority do not charge a diagnostic fee most are $60-$90. After being charged an exorbitant $130 fee. I asked if he could snake a drain since he was out here and literally did no work. He said it would be another $160 on top of the dispatch fee which covered nothing and he literally spent 5 mins at the house. Will be reporting to the BBB. Stay away from these scammers. To make matters worse their contractors license has been suspended. Can't say it's a shocker. read more

I called them to change a gas valve for a dryer. When the technician arrived, I asked if he needed to shut off the gas to the building. He replied that they never shut off gas mains. As I watched him unscrew the old valve and screw on the new one, I laughed when he told me to "hold my breath" and "open a couple of windows." The technician also gave me a braided line that was so short it wouldn't allow the dryer to be pulled out of position. I pointed out the shortcoming, and while the technician agreed it was useless to me, he left it nonetheless. The next day, I received a bill for over $200 for the valve replacement and a braided gas line. Part of the charge was for "locating the gas main" and "shutting off the gas main." I called Cody and explained that I was charged for services that weren't provided. However, he insisted the technician shut off the gas. I know this is untrue because I was present during the service call, and Cody was not. I walked the technician from his car to my valve and back to his car, standing next to him the entire time. Beware of Cody and his company. They may be charging customers for services not provided. Classy bunch! Just take a look at the recent reviews on the right of your screen. I've had 3 consecutively negative experiences with T&M Plumbing, but it's the company my HOA uses so my hands are tied. I live in a condo and my unit has flooded multiple times due to plumbing issues in the building. Besides the fact that my HOA chooses to just keep sending out plumbers when there's an issue instead of finding a solution, T&M adds injury to insult. Every time they have come I've asked for a written report for my records and to share with my homeowners insurance. The people that come for the service say that the office will send it after they return at the end of the day. When they came in April of this year I had to continually ask for a report for weeks and when I got it almost a month and a half later, it was incorrect. They most recently came on 10/9 and I still have not gotten a report despite being explicitly told that I would receive one by 10/12 at the latest. My calls, voicemails, and texts to Andrea have been ignored. Today is 10/30. I have told them that the plumbing issues I have experienced have caused me to have to move out of my home for months at a time because of severe water damage. T&M Plumbing has no concern for the customer. They are fine with persisting plumbing issues because that means more money in their pockets. They explicitly told me that the flooding would continue to happen and that I would just have to deal with it. They are not advocates for the customer and I do not recommend hiring them. I had a confirmed appointment which I verified twice with the office manager who schedules their work orders. I called the day before to make sure the plumbers were still coming & was told by someone who answered the phone that they would be at my home between 9-10 am the next day. 15 minutes before their scheduled arrival time, I got a text saying they had an emergency & would need to reschedule! My job was an EMERGENCY DUE TO A LEAKING PIPE IN MY CEILING! I took off work to enable this job & moved furniture & prepped the living room as instructed. After repeated calls to the company, I never heard anything from anyone. No one ever called back to apologize, reschedule or offer a compensatory discount for the inconvenience. I contacted them Friday morning, their office manager Andrea assured me her crew would be at my home at 3:30pm that afternoon. At 3:20 the company texted me saying they'd been called to a plumbing emergency and couldn't make my appt. I replied that I didn't understand why after their error yesterday my appt was not a priority. I too have water leaking! So they replied that they couldn't apologize enough, and ASSURED me they would be at my home on Saturday morning at 8:30am. It is now 9:04am. I have not heard a thing from T&M Plumbing. I called. I texted. NO RESPONSE. Unreliable. Unresponsive. Will waste your time and not care one iota. read more

Jonathan L's review of T & M Plumbing does not contain the facts. Mr. L is at war with the world. He has created sets of adverse circumstances and it has backfired. Now, he wants to take it out on T & M. He has also taken it out on a company I am affiliated with, Valley Financial. I am a customer of the company and I have personal knowledge of all of this. An emergency call regarding a pipe leak that was coming from his unit was dispatched to an after-hours number for the HOA, requiring a plumber's investigation as to the source of the leak, and the repairs. So far, this is simple. The HOA requested emergency plumbing. A plumber of theirs (Sal) showed up within minutes to help. He needed access to the inside of Jonathan L's unit to investigate the leak. Someone answered the door to the unit. He requested inside access to fix the problem and for whatever reason he was refused. It doesn't make any difference why he was refused; the fact is he was denied the ability to do his job. Later, the following day, a plumber from T & M went back to the unit and repaired the problem, at no charge. It turned out that the dishwashing hose for Jonathan L's kitchen faucet had been held together with duct tape, and it busted through. Read that again: Duct Tape. To call T & M crooks teeters on libel. This is an honest company with decades of reputable and reliable service. Notice in Jonathan L's post that he claims to be filing complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General. He also has filed one-star reviews almost everywhere on the net for anyone he's ever done business with. As a matter of opinion, he's an internet stalker and a bully. The HOA requested plumbing services, and they paid the plumbing bill. The root cause of the leak was Jonathan L's duct-taped dishwashing faucet hose. Jonathan L, whether he likes it or not, owes the HOA for the plumbing bill. Further, regarding a so-called blacklisting: T & M works for their choice of customer, not someone who calls them crooks. Here, I am focusing on this one incident and my personal review of T & M. Take my word for it, there is much more truth to know about the poster. Excellent candidate for Anger Management. Cody: You're a good man and your company is the finest in all of Los Angeles County. You do your best and you never disappoint. Bob & I appreciate everything you do, all the time, every day. You take calls in the middle of the night, not knowing what kind of situation you'll end up dealing with. I'm sorry you ended up with this one. This company is terrible in every way! Unfortunately, I got stuck using them because my HOA referred me to them because they are the " preferred" plumber for their property. I have already complained to HOA and directed them to all the terrible yelp reviews so they don't refer them anymore. Andrea does not return phone calls or emails, and doesn't follow through on reports needed for insurance claims. Had to make numerous calls to track her down to get updates on repairs. It took me a week to get a hold of her to find out the status of the repair, only to find out that only part of the work was done but was not completed!! Apparently someone told her not to open the walls but she didnt know who or why??!! She claims she put a call out to HOA and was waiting for their response, even though I was the one who called for repair and paying for the repair. After getting that situated, a 2nd plumber finally comes out again and only to say that repair can't be done because the part is broken by whoever the last plumber was. That plumber was from T & M!!! Cody the "manager" completely denies they broke it even though it was his own plumber that told me it was broken! 3rd plumber and 1 month later the repair was finally done. I have never been so relieved to pay the vendor to never have to deal with them again! Horrendous experience!! read more

We live in a condo in Woodland Hills. Recently, some necessary plumbing repairs were mandated by the condo and we used the suggested plumbing company (T & M) to do the work. The work required changing some O'rings at the water inlet and the washing machine hose Wye. Sal and his assistant, were fast and very neat. After completing the work they inspected for leaks and left. A week later, my wife was about to do some laundry. When she opened the door to the machine a large amount of water rushed out, making a terrible mess. We had no idea what caused this but, since the machine had always worked perfectly, we realized it must have something to do with the work done. The company was notified and sent Sal back. He looked around and could see no issues. He ran a rinse cycle and the machine worked properly. He then left, with no clear explanation of the problem. Explaining the situation to another plumber, we were told that clearly some air was trapped in the water line to the washing machine, when the water was shut off, that temporarily caused the inlet valve to malfunction. The T & M plumber should have known of this possibility and taken any necessary action to prevent the flood. Our problem was clearly the result of this step not being taken. On top of everything, T & M wanted to bill us $150 for the service call. read more

Unfortunately my HOA started using these defuses, I assume probably because they are getting paid to say things in the HOA's favor. Let's start off for the first reason why you should NEVER EVER contract or even GO NEAR these people. They are unprofessional, our guy came reeking of weed and looking overall extremely sketchy, he took one look at an obvious leak and tried to blame an entire building drainage issue on my unit, then when I tried to explain to him that my neighbor is also flooding because of sewage water backing up and causing our pipes to leak he got right up in my face and said "Do you have a problem with me bro!?", he looked like a complete maniac doing this so I promptly kicked him out and threatened to call 919 whereby he calmed down and tried to call his "manager". What a joke! I called 2 other plumbers and they both said it is a building sewage issue upon a detailed analysis. If I could put 0 stars I would. The customer service is horrible. Andrea said she would call me this morning and let me know if her plumbers can come out today since they need to break walls and I need to arrange someone to come over see this and get my child out of the house during this time. Andrea called at 230 and gave me a 30 min window. I let her know that that's not enough time for me to arrange all of this and asked her why she didn't call in the morning. she informed me that she was busy and was extremely rude with me. I cancelled the service. I called back a few minutes later to speak to the owner, who picked up the phone. Cody was even worse than Andrea. I let him know this is not the way to schedule appointments with people and that Andrea was very rude, he replied with "actually you were more rude to her" I let him know that I will be using a different company to which he replied that I cant do that since his company is preferred with my hoa. This is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. You do not give people a 30 minute window especially after I asked for a call back in the morning so I can arrange with my child and have someone there. Yesterday when they initially came out to inspect the leak Andrea was supposed to call me back and let me know what time, obviously no one called until the plumbers are outside my door. My tenant called me about a leak from the garbage disposal so I called them for a quote. They said it was the supply lines, and I figured they knew what they were talking about so I hired them. When the leak continued and now the garbage disposal was not working I call them to find out why the problem continued. Instead of calling me back to get my authorization to do anything he pressed the reset button and charged me again, and the leak continued. I went to see it myself and found the both P-Trap and the bottom of the garbage disposal very corroded and leaking. I called them and they didn't return the call. I had to hire a new plumber to fix everything and pay again. My complaints: 1) they replaced something that wasn't broken (if they actually did that), and 2) they could not detect highly corroded, leaking pipe/garbage disposal.
