The only issue I had with the company was scheduling without the slightest communication to either let me know when or to coordinate with my availability. What a joke and waste to time. Got assigned to them through my Home Warranty for an emergency plumbing issue. After assignment, i didn't hear anything, so called the 8 hours later. Guy answered and said that I would need to wait until they contacted ME. The next day, I just got a text message that they would come out a week later. No options for the time, just told me the time. I tried calling them multiple times after this, and just would go to voicemail that was saying it was full. I finally had to call warranty company to send a new plumber, who thankfully was able to come the same day. The new plumber was also terrible, but at least they came and fixed the problem (after ripping me off). Rooter Patrol, on the other hand, wouldn't even come, and just had me waste 3 days of my time. Can't recommend this company enough. I had a clogged toilet and had a rooter from another company come-in. He tried to open the clog for an hour unsuccessfully and told me I need an idrojet (turned out I didn't). He charged me full price even though he wasn't able to open the clog. I called Rooter Patrol Plumbing and was told that if they won't be able to open the clog- I won't be charged. Jose arrived shortly after. He opened the clogged toilet with a snake within minutes. Told us we needed to get all of our pipes replaced because our pipes were old and we needed new ones and let me know this was common. He said it would cost $11,000 but he would give us a deal at $9,800. This made me stressed out, depressed, frustrated because I would have to use money from our savings. We have three kids. Small home. We work non stop, My wife works all day and night and I have two jobs. I called two other plumbers to get their opinion and they said we didn't need new pipes and that was completely false and they fixed the job which was another area of the plumbing system. Potential customers beware! Rooter Patrol had no Yelp review since July of 2019, why? They advertised on their website for $49 to snake a main drain from an accessible clean-out. This is 50% lower then other rooter service and there is a catch. Before making the appointment I talk to the manager Andre and he said for $49 they will run a snake 75-125 ft to "clean" the drain. When their guy Jose came out he bought a snake that had no attachment head for cleaning coil or blade, just a bare snake. When I asked about using a cleaning attachment Jose said they do not use them as sometimes they will be caught in the drain and be hard to pull out. Jose claimed they do not have head attachments in the van and no way to attached anything to the bare snake. I called Andre and now he said he is just a dispatch and it is up to the tech to decide what to do. I do not think running a bare snake is a professional or effective way of cleaning a main drain. Until now I have never had a rooter service that would come out and attempt to just run a bare snake to clear a drain. Needless to say I did not have the cheap job done as it would not have clear any drain obstruction. They wasted my time, their time and their travel cost. My wife and I had the misfortune of having to deal with this company through our home warranty. We had a few plumbing issues, but the biggest was that our kitchen faucet was leaking down below the sink, so water was pooling under the sink. The first red flag with Rooter Patrol is that they scheduled an appointment with us without checking to see if we were available. Then, their technician came out and did not fix two of our issues, so we had to get them to come back. We called them every day for almost a week before they acknowledged that they had received a work order to return, then scheduled our appointment for more than two weeks in the future. When that day finally arrived, they simply did not send anybody out, so we had to reschedule AGAIN. This whole time, water was dripping under our sink, which was very stressful for us. Then, after they finally sent someone out, more than a month after we placed our initial request, they submitted a false report to our home warranty company saying there was nothing wrong with our kitchen faucet and we just wanted it replaced because we didn't like the way it looked. We just had this company come out to address some drainage issues we had at our property. The associate (Ed) showed up on time as expected and immediately went to work. He used an auger to work on the entry points near the restroom and at the exterior opening for the sewage line. What he managed to find was a root issue that was troublesome from the house to the street, but the major issue was what appeared to be a root ball under the house. We were able to see the backed up water on the camera that he brought. He even went as far as to go underneath the house with a sensor to find the exact location of the problem. Unfortunately he was unable to clear the issue, and even though we were prepared to pay the $49 fee for him to come out, he declined payment because he was unable to fix the issue. We really appreciate it, especially since we need to explore other options to take care of it. And when it's time for us to put in new pipes, we'll be calling directly on him. read more

I must say I am very happy and impressed by the prompt and thorough service I received from Rooter Patrol . Jovany demonstrated a great deal of expertise, and I especially appreciate that he took the time to answer all my questions and involve me in the process. He also identified exactly where the tree roots had penetrated the pipe, causing reoccurring blockages. The pipe had obviously been cracked for quite some time, as the same drain blockage problem has occurred numerous times during the 2 years I've lived here, yet he was the ONLY plumber who accurately identified the problem! All the other plumbers just cleared the blockage, charged a bunch of money, and failed to get to the "root of the problem" (no pun intended!). I called these guys after I realized my snake wouldn't go far enough. I am in the middle of rebuilding my deck and didn't have time to work on this anyway. My wife had ground up a bunch of carrots and broccoli and clogged one of our main lines about 40 feet from the clean out. Plumber was here a total of 20mins from hello to goodbye and only had to remove the drain strain plate in the shower to get access. They charged me $159 but after I complained they haggled down with the 10% discount to $143. These guys are crooks, don't use them at all. I have learned my lesson to check around. He claimed it was because they had to remove the drain cover it was an extra $100. Are you kidding me? It takes 20 seconds. He actually worked less than 8mins. I found another plumber that guarantees $49 to snake ANY DRAIN. I will never use these guys again. These people sent a tech... 2 hours late. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. It was supposed to be a free estimate, but he wanted to charge $175 just to put a camera through the pipe to see why the water backs up from the sink to the tub. That fee doesn't include repairs. Not to mention, the inbilcul wanted to charge $900 to fix a toilet. What an insult to my intelligence. Not to nenrion, he broke a cap off if the water pipe running from the toilet to the wall. It was leaking water and he didn't even offer to fix it. I sent him to the door... without any if my money and no plumbing issues resolved. This time we had to replace the main sewer line - - this company gave the lowest price, and had tremendous integrity. We highly recommend this company! Our 87 year old house had a major sewer fail. Jovany A. and Andre came out on a Saturday (no extra charge) to clear out the stopped sewer line! After putting a camera down, they discovered there were major roots in it which had caused it to crack. Long story short, we needed to cut through the slab inside the house and outside to replace the old line using a trench-less sewer replacement process. Jovany, Andre, Mario, and Anthony were very knowledgeable, professional and kind as they did the nasty task. After the line was exposed, we discovered everything they suspected, and more, was wrong and the work was badly needed. Before they left they made sure everything was working. Rooter patrol plumbing because they have a special $49 to clear any Drain they went to do the job then later called me and told me that there is a broken pipe under the cement slab that is a rental units . They told me that the job would cost $2450.00 And that nobody in the three unit apartment would not be able to use the water. They said before they do the work since I was not there They would have to have me sign a consent form for them to do the work and a picture of my credit card before I gave them the consent I called a few plumbers and told me by three different plumbers that I was being overcharged that job should only be about $800.00. So I told him to stop the next day I went to Home Depot and I rented a Camera and put down the drain and there was no broken pipe. Either they are unexperienced plumbers or they're trying to rip people off. OK, so I do not usually write reviews BUT, given it was a Sunday and Memorial Day weekend, I felt I should. So, I had a back-up in the rear bathroom, snaking it didn't solve the issue. Turns out my "OLD" home has some very deteriorated cast iron pipes, with the camera we saw cracks, bugs all kinda stuff going on where nothing should be going on... so, a quick fix or repair it. As I am keeping my house, RP gave me a great deal, they are installing a new clean-out (2 one main and one for the rear bathroom which didn't have one) and replace all the cast iron waste lines with plastic. I got credit for the first visit, plus a great deal on the whole job, they work efficiently, plan the work so that the family could get ready for work, etc.. when they left for the day everything was working, until they started again the next day... they fully explained all cost upfront, no surprises. read more

DO NOT HIRE! We called with a clogged drain that was attached to a disposal. Jose cleared the drain in 10 minutes, charged us $125 and a 40 warranty . Within 48 hours sink was slow running and disposal was non functional and we were told it wasn't part of the service. They did, however, come by and in 5 minutes disposal temporarily worked. Within 24 hours sink was clogged and disposal not functioning. I called again, was told a time, I took a half day off to be here, and NO SHOW. When I called they apologized and said they'd come at the end of the day. They didn't. When my husband called they next day they declared the problem was the disposal and not covered. Called out for drain cleaning. Their technician, after 15 minutes, couldn't snake, because he couldn't get the cap off the clean out. In his frustration he insulted me, F bombed and left. I spoke with a supervisor, who promised prompt follow up with a different plumber.
