Nails were done well!! Toes were done well!! There was no pressure sales pitch and no random attitude to reflect arriving close to closing time (a couple other folks did come after us, so we felt better and also... if you're in our situation, you may get some grace). I made a brand-new account, tried again, and it still would not let me book. So no, this was not user error. Your system is just a mess. Calling did not help either. I actually wanted to book over the phone, and instead of helping me, I was pushed right back to booking online -- on the same broken website that was already not working. That made the whole thing even more ridiculous. Then I got a vague answer about techs making their own schedules, but no real solution for actually booking with the person I wanted. So basically, the website is broken, the phone is unhelpful, and the customer is left to just figure it out? Be serious. I have never seen a business act so uninterested in taking somebody's money. At a certain point it felt like I was begging this salon to let me become a client, and that is absurd. Fix the website. Fix the communication. Fix the chaos. Until then, people should know exactly what kind of frustration they're signing up for.

Sized the middle finger of my right and and proceeded to apply that same size nail to every finger except the pinky and thumb. At this point I didn't care. I just needed my nails done and knew I would never book with Mary again. After applying the nails to the right hand I noticed that my index finger was crooked and let her know. I draw the line at crooked nails. Instead on just coming up with a solution she wanted to go back and forth about how it wasn't. So I said that's fine. Just take them all (one hand) off and I will just wait until I can go to my regular tech. Mary storms off to get the owner and she comes and takes a look and starts being patronizing saying "respectfully the nail is straight". At this point who give af? I said take them off. She goes back and forth with me and finally I'm like "so you not going to take them off" and she, the owner, says "no". As if they can force me to continue the service. So I got up and walked out. I paid a $20 deposit that I didn't even think about disputing. 2 days later I see 4 declined charge attempts from SpaMoelluxe for the full service price on my Apple Card. Luckily I don't just let money sit on my Apple account. I was never going to write a review, post, nothing. I was just going to move on with my life and let them keep the $20. After pointing out some things, my gel finger nails turned out better than expected. I saw them take tools out of the sterilizer and there was a liner in the foot spa. I called and made an appointment at 11am for 2. They told me that's when they opened. When we arrived at 11, there were already 2 other customers being worked on. There was only 1 technician available despite our appointments so they started on me before my friend. The hot rocks they used were so hot that my friend's legs were burned and the technician even showed that her hands were burned too (before she even put them on us!) It wasn't until later that I noticed my toes were done unevenly and not smoothly (see picture). The pedicure was $30. While my technician took time on my nails, I still had to point out where it was sheer or where the gel was sharp before she fixed it. It was $35 for gel polish. In the end the gel turned out nice. However, the worst part was after the service. The male technician was free at this point and decided to contact his cell phone service on speaker phone. We listened to the entire interaction. We also realized there was no music playing and they seated us so far apart that we couldn't talk much. Overall, I guess we got what we paid for?
