I had my nails done by the older guy. The 2 designs were good but in less than a weeks time I had to return twice for repairs. It's now less than two weeks and I need 2 more nails repaired. I won't return there. And it is dirty in there dusty through out. read more

Pat is a really good nail technician, however, she can have a very bad attitude so if you can get past that, you are good. Prior to Covid, I had to make my appointments 1st thing in the morning otherwise, be prepared to wait. I stopped going because I did not like the way she yelled, and yes she yelled at me when I didn't like how she did my nails. read more

Pat at T & N Nails in Ft. Washington usually does great work for me, however, she has poor customer service and can be very rude at times. After my last visit on 8/28/2022, my nails began to chip within 24 hours of service. She recommended only two powder dips during my visit when she normally does 3, and then she refused to repair my nails and told me to find a different place for service.. I was appalled when she LIED and said I complain too much and wouldn't be satisfied with the repair. I've NEVER had a complaint with her doing my nails until NOW for the first time!!! Although I had already made up my mind that day that would be my last time using T & N Nails after she left that lady standing outside knocking on the door for so long, I will definitely take her advice and spend my coins where I am appreciated and where any issues would be corrected because the business has high standards for delivering exceptional customer service. read more

This place is God awful. I just moved on the area so I was looking for a convenient nail spot. There's never enough workers. Only 2 or three of them at a time. The younger one can NOT do nails. She can't shape, file. None of that. Sweet though, but no. The old man....don't even go to him for your feet. You know how they're supposed to give you a good massage? Doesn't do that. He doesn't file your toes to shape the nail, he just clips them. He doesn't listen. He can't do nails. I've been make more than two times for them to fix my nails bc every-time I leave my nail breaks. I guess Pat is the only good one but she was rude af on the phone when I told her that she needs to fix my nails again. She tried to tell me that only the old man could fix my nails bc he did them. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I go to Pat who is the best! My norm is Full gel set, sometimes a pedicure and eyelashes which tends to run between $75.00 to about $130.00 (not including a tip) depending on which services I get, which in my opinion is a good deal due to how everything turns out. My nails are always perfect, My eyelashes are fantastic. My lashes last up to 2 weeks normally and my nails last about that long too before I experience any breakage or lifting. I have had cases where diamonds or jewels have fallen off my nails within less then a week, but I just go back and Pat replaces them at NO CHARGE!...LOVE HER! I get so many complements on my nails and lashes. I normally get the treasure/jeweled or "bling nails" I also do the color change or metallic looks a lot. My only suggestion is if you want to see Pat... GET AN APPOINTMENT. Chances of you setting in her chair without one is slim, she stays booked because she's that good. Even with an appointment you sometimes have to wait a little but for the quality of work I get I am okay with that. I have been going to her for about 6 to 7 years now and don't plan on going to any one else plus I live only 3 minutes away it's very convenient. My daughter goes to her as well and her nails are perfect every time. Regarding some of the reviews I reed about Pat being rude... I would say in my experience, I wouldn't call her rude...I'd say she speaks her mind...Which is how I am as well. If you are a person who is not use to a person with a strong personality, that doesn't take crap from anyone, then I suppose you would interpret them as rude. Pat tells it like it is. It's a hit or miss with this place. Really depends on who is servicing you and what time of the day you go. An early Sunday morning trip to this spa or early afternoon on the weekday is probably best to avoid a long wait. I suggest that you tell them then and there if something is wrong with the polish job or pedicure so that they can correct it. The place could be a little cleaner on the inside. I have been going to this place quite frequently, however, I have come to notice that the quality of there work is beyond terrible. The older gentleman did my nails this last time while he took his time my nails look like my 5 year old did them! Bumpy polish, paint on my cuticles and chipping after 2 days. The owner talks to customers any type of way, and I noticed they use the same razor on everyone when shaping everyone's eyebrows, simply wiping the blade off with a tissue! Putting customers at risk of hepatitis, staphylococcus and or fungal infections! very unsanitary! I wonder if they clean any of there other equipment....Do not waste you're time nor money going to this place! read more

I made an appointment with Pat for a manicure and pedicure. Upon arrival I met Pat who escorted me to the pedicure chair. While the basin was filling, two young ladies came in for fills. Pat informed me that another technician would do my pedicure and she would do my manicure. She immediately attended to the clients getting fills. Really! The salon is dirty and there is a disguisting food odor that greets you at the front door. The nail technicians' jackets were dirty. The service was rushed. Every time the door opened and a client walked in, that client became the priority. The prices are reasonable; however, I'd rather pay for cleanliness and good customer service. T&N nails is close to my home but I will continue to drive to Waldorf for my nail service. Thanks, but no thanks T&N Nails. read more

I used to LOVE this place. I'd get my nails done every two weeks and finish off my visit with Pat or Huang's state-of-the-art eyebrow wax. Eyebrow shaping is something I am very cautious about; I don't trust just anyone! Anyways, I left the area for a few years and returned to a poorly managed and messy salon. The place is always super busy, slightly dirty, and I always feel rushed. Trust...feeling rushed is the last experience you want to have as someone is pulling a waxing strip off of your face! During my most recent visit, I was asked to wait several minutes for an eyebrow wax; however, 10 minutes later, I was asked to come back later. I'm done with T & N. I know the eyebrow wax quality is above average but I cannot tolerate sub-par customer service. read more

I went in to have one nail repaired. The nail technician that I called ahead and the told me was available was working with someone else I said that's fine I can wait. They suggested I allow someone else to do it and I said OK. I went as instructed to the other girls station, she walked away didn't say a word and before I knew it she was running water to start a new customer that had just walked in. When I went up front and asked the manager if that young lady was going to do the repair she told me that the original lady that I called ahead for was going to do it. I said no one told me I was just sitting there after being instructed to stay at this lady's station. The lady told me I was busy. This was not the first time that I had poor service with them but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because we all have bad days. However, this last round was unacceptable. those of you are asking if this is just a regular hole-in-the-wall nail salon run by Asians, the answer is... YES. but i love it. i've been going here religiously for more than two years now. no one has ever done my eyebrows since i started going here besides HUNG. of course i can be meticulous about my eyebrows, but now, she's done mine so many times, she knows what i like and don't like when it comes to the bushes above my eyes. she is awesome. easy to talk to. the prices are the frosting on the cake. when i started out with T&N, i gave ten dollars (which included a 3 dollar tip) in all for an eyebrow wax... TEN DOLLARS INCLUDING TIP. my main reason for being so loyal to Hung and T&N are the prices, the people, and the location (five minutes from my house). i've never been to any of the other nail techs, but my best friend got a hand and foot nail design with Pat, and, her nails were FIERCE. read more

I was pleased to find a nail salon close by my house that was open late so I stopped by and I must say that I received horrible service. The nail technician took over an hour to complete a fill-in and polish change on my toes. She did not shape my nails how I asked her too and my polish on my hands and feet were a total half job. The color on my nails was red but yet the gel polish had been thinned out so much you could see through to my natural nail bed. I was pleasant to the nail tech despite her poor efforts and spoke with the manager about how we could arrange a better service for my next visit. The manager first lied to me and told me that she was not the manager, then proceeded to speak loudly over me and told me I could call the other manager to deal with it. After that comment she proceeded by laughing and stated "He isn't going to do anything for you either". With that being said, I made the firm decision to never visit this salon again. Customer service is horrible and the nail techs are poorly trained. This being my first experience there I felt like they would have wanted to provide excellent service to gain a returning customer and no such service what so ever was provided. read more

I stated going to this place because I heard that Pat is doing a great job with acrylic nails. I went there twice loved her work on manicure, but didn't care for her pedicure skills. Apparently, once I asked for her to do manicure she would do pedicure too. I always felt rushed when a customer would walk into door she would leave me and start on them. Also, the last time she did my pedicure she left me to do nails for a walk in customer. While waiting I noticed that dispute the fact that she used for calluses under my feet and it was all uneven skin under my foot. I mentioned it to her she agree to redo the uneven calluses so she asked me to sit back in the chair and soak my feet in the water. I was there for a very long time she finished the walk in customer and started to work on another. I complained so she came over and harshly worked on my feet. She was very rough and angry, she even cut my skin and didn't tell me about it. Despite the fact that she messed up my foot I decided to go back and have her just do my manicure and not my feet obviously she's not the foot person. She told me she was busy I ask for an appointment she said she was busy. I asked her straight up do you not want to work on my nails. She keep repeating she was busy and asked to have someone else.
