UPDATE: After expressing concerns, I spoke to Nina. It's her shop. She asked me to come back to fix my nails. Honestly, I'm really glad I came back because this is the best my nails have looked in years. This time around, Cindy was my nail technician. She was AMAZING! She totally reshaped my nails, helped me pick out colors that last a long time, and took her sweet time (in a good way) fixing my nails up. Honestly, I will be returning because the service I received from Nina and Cindy today was incredible. Plus, my toes and hands look the best they've looked in some time. I called on a Friday to see if they had availability for a gel manicure. They said "yes, come on in, there is no wait." I gave my name twice to confirm that I could get an appointment. When I showed up 6 minutes later I was told to sign in and wait. There were 3 people now "in front of me" despite calling ahead. I waited for 40 minutes and was never helped. They told me that it's first come first serve and those three people came in miraculously within the six minutes of me driving over. Won't try there again! read more

I've had 3 different nail techs here, and each one has been amazing! They are so detail oriented and dont rush through manis or pedis. The downside is that the salon is always busy, so be prepared to wait a bit. But it is well worth the wait everytime :) my nails look photoshopped everytime I leave here. I expect a very high standards especially when it comes to my nails. This is the best nail salon that I have found so far in the area. Not only are they talented but the salon has HEPA filters. Inside is beautiful and clean! They also have autoclave machines to keep all their equipment sanitized. You'd be surprised how many salons do not sanitize properly! read more

Find another nail salon. Like many other 1 star reviews, I was given a time of 4pm, apparently the language barrier created a misunderstanding of my time being switched to 1pm on the same day originally scheduled. I end up showing up the original time and told I am late. The next time I call they tell me I am not allowed to schedule an appointment and they will only see me on Tuesdays at 1pm otherwise I'll have to show up and wait. I've been coming here for three years. They treat their customers horrible. read more

I've been to so many local nail salons in search of the 'perfect pedicure'... THIS IS WHERE IT'S AT! They are very sanitary - pedicure tub is lined for each person and tools are clean as well. The first time I went, I tried the callus removing pedicure. I went back a few weeks later and tried the sugar scrub pedicure. Both were fantastic, and each time the nail techs provided AMAZING massages. I'm not talking about the quick 2-minute lathering of lotion and oil that most places do... I'm talking about a legit foot and calf massage. So incredibly relaxing! And both times my toenails looked amazing after. I literally just walked out of this salon. I got a gel manicure last week. It started lifting at the cuticle two days later. I went back to get it repaired. Nina proceeded to attempt to file the clear color gel polish off. I asked that it soak off to prevent damage. Her response...well now you will have to wait. I will take someone else and you can just wait. It was the rudest I've EVER been treated!! Typically I see Jenny, but she was vacation. So now Tommy is removing the polish and again proceeds to file my nails to the death of them. At that point I just said forget it and got regular clear polish and walked out. There's still gel polish left in spots all off over my nails and now my nails burn from being filed too much. This was the WORST nail experience. It will take some time for my nails to heal. They literally just lost a customer who came here faithfully since 2021. I loved Jenny as my nail technician, but the customer service here has gone down the drain. Never again!! I went on a Thursday afternoon. I was seen 20mins after arrival. I got the deluxe pedicure... he did a great job... my feet haven't been this smooth in a while and he massaged my calfs perfectly. When it came to my nails he shaped them just the way I wanted and was meticulous to make sure they were done right. Another person did my design. I showed her what I wanted... she not only did it right, but made it better than what she was comparing it to. I for sure will go back and see what other designs they can do. I guess the good or bad experience depends on who does your nails so I will base my review in who. The lady who did my nails with very short, salt and pepper hair, hates her job. I got feet and hands done and even though she painted my hands better than my feet, she got angry when I asked her to remove more skin around my fingers, and I didn't get a massage or lotion after she was done with my hands. Then while doing my feet not only she painted them awfully with a mess all around my toe nails, she refused to use the blade to remove dead skin from my feet and got an attitude when I asked. So she will do what she wants regardless of the Client's request, and I always request blades to remove my feet's dead skin. I am a great tipper and I am embarrassed of the tip I left her--$3.00. I will never go back there because of her attitude, for the mess she left on my toes and for her to refuse my requests. Will never go back. read more

Ugh 3 times the charm.. Having my nails done 3 times in this area I stumble upon Perfect Nails on DUKE and have been blown away. Definitely earned me as a customer. Let me start by asking how many women waste nearly an hour getting their acrylic soaked off. Well not here this young lady used her gentle touch and experience to clip off the acrylic and sanded my nails. I got a standard manicure with a gel polish and was so satisfied with the time management and price. The finishing hand massage was AWESOME SAUCE. I have never been so disappointed with a nail company but this is beyond unacceptable! I went in the salon right after work yesterday(6:50pm), I thought it was perfect because they stayed open till 8pm. Which is late for a weekday. They were really friendly when I walked in so I assumed they would take great care of me. I have no doubt at this time that they would do such a horrible job. It started to get later and later, before I knew it, it was past eight. They Started the closing procedures which was fine I didn't mind, but they lock the doors and family member started to walking in, rushing my stylist. Looking at my nails I thought they looked great she kept on putting oil on my hands (just thought it was a part of the massage). I left the salon and went to the grocery store next-door, got some napkins to wipe off the oil. And then I realize why she's putting so much oil on my nails. She was just trying to make the nails look shiny so that she didn't have to fix the topcoat of the dip powder. This was not worth any of the money that I gave them! read more
