I happened upon T & T Nails Spa when I was waiting on my boyfriend to finish up competing in a tournament at a local game store. I wanted to find somewhere I could get my nails done within walking distance. I tried three salons before landing at T & T (one salon told me they had an hour wait for walk-ins and the other salon could not do dip manicures). T & T did not have many reviews on Yelp, which made me a little nervous, but, my experience ended up being nothing but excellent. The salon was very clean, organized, and relaxing with gentle music playing in the background. The staff was very friendly, offering me water while I waited my turn (note: my wait was less than 10 min) and placing my purse on the chair beside me even after I put it on the ground because I didn't want to occupy more than one seat. My nail technician was quiet but good at his job! He made me comfortable throughout the process of removing my old dip and giving me my fresh look. He also broke down the cost for me before beginning to make sure that was okay with me. He also recommended a different type of manicure than what I normally get - powder instead of dip - to prevent pulling up at my cuticles. The price difference was basically negligible, and I was very pleased with the result! I got a powder manicure - pink with chrome. The whole experience was very nice, and, if I am ever in the area again, I would definitely return to T & T Nails Spa. I've been going here for, I believe, 4 years now. I don't think I'll ever leave, if I had to, I'd probably cry lol Service is always amazing! My sets are ALWAYS on point! (I'll attach a few pictures for proof) I'm ALWAYS recommending ppl to go. They have a great reward system and also offer discounts for students, teachers, and I believe medical works (might have to double check on this one) as well. I'd advise you to book your appts at least two weeks ahead of time to guarantee a spot but they accept walk ins as well. read more

I came here when I first moved to Houston but my commute was too far. I am now back in the area and I thought I would give them a try and I'm so glad I did. The customer service was great, not pushy. My pedicure was done by Lisa and my nails by Ivy. I am SUPER picky about both and they did a fabulous job. Normally shops hate refilling other work but they didn't even ask or give me any push back. As far as quality, this has been the best nail salon I've found in sugar land so far. The nail tech daisy I believe was very kind and talented. Reason I'm taking off one star is because of their outrageous $30 deep French up charge (settled for this $15 thin French) and also their employee trying to correct me on which type of manicure I received, I wasn't going to argue but I know what I usually get and it was just weird for them to be so prominent that I had gotten something I didn't. been here 3 times and each time i had rude service and bad attitude from the nail techs. the only nice person was the receptionist at the front desk other than that i didnt feel welcomed. I asked to get gel x nails but then later changed my mind once she said it was going to be $170 just for the nails. Although i couldn't understand what they were saying i knew they were talking about me and making a big deal of me changing my mind. On top of that the regular acrylic set i got hardly lasted 7 days. Totally Disgusted Unsanitary using the same files For everyone and the pumice stone Left bits of nail dust in the polish as it dried Why would they use a nail grinder on a 13 years natural nail. The Manicure I got myself was also terrible. They Cut the nail so short that you can't Any even get the nail bits that were filled in out of the bottom of the nail for the both of us. I called ahead and got a reservation. When i came in for my appointment I was attended in a timely manner. The staff was generally nice and the nail tech gave me exactly what I asked for. I also decided to get a pedicure. My total for the whole service (not including tip) was $92.00. I asked for a full set, acrylic: nail extensions, two colors one ombre nail on each hand and two small gems on 2 fingers/hand. She did a good job on doing what I asked her to so I give her props for that because some places will ignore your requests, although I will say she was pretty rough with me especially towards the end. Overall the set came out great, just a tad rough in appearance like glue on my fingers and file residue on the nails but nothing too noticeably sloppy. The one thing I will say is that this place is pretty popular for its size. Its a little cramped and they are doing the minimal when it comes to covid-19 sanitation as well as social distancing. I can see that this business is doing their best but things like a cramped work space, dirty towels and dried out nail polish as well as old/unsantitzed equipment like: drills that aren't doused in barboside, used nail files & old brushes that need replacing. The place could just be a little cleaner and more spacious. I had a decent experience. There are other places that are more sanitary in this area thats less cramped, it all depends on your priorities. I'm not hating on the job they did read more

i had been getting my nails done for two years from Tim. Always good service until my last visit . i booked a full set because the time before this appointment i also got a full set from Tim which all also popped off resulting in my having to pay for another full set (the one in the picture) no more than 5 days later half of my set was off ! broken on each hand ! i went back to tim immediately that Tuesday bc they are closed Monday and asked him if this issue was because he changed to a clear nail which is in Stiletto shape and that is also the nail used on the previous set that all broke within a week as well . I have watched tim do my nails and he always used to more cloudy box nails and then cut the shape and filed to make a beautiful coffin shape ! this set i wanted coffin and he used the long Stiletto nail because he wanted to do a quick service and not have to file down on the nail , therefore he cut only the tip of this new nail to make it look like a coffin shape. once I asked him if he used a new nail (which he definitely did) he lies to my face and says no and then catches some nasty attitude talking over me and my mom saying "I've been doing her nails 2 years i know what i use I've always used that nail on her , anyways you must have done something to break them off but i will fix them or not it doesn't matter up to you" trying to rush my mom and i out of the salon he sends us to the car to wait for like 20 minutes , i come back in and he fixes my nails (which all broke off again the next week like the first set) and he complains to me about the negative yelp review my mom gave his salon ! He did not care to say sorry or talk to me unless he was talking about the negative review my mom left him ! once i finished he just was like "u can go now" kind of dismissive , still never got a sorry. anyways i paid $130 combined (65 each set) for nails that lasted no longer than a week. (The picture is my nails a week AFTER he redid them lol.) i would not go here , but a reliable source is Jonathan at Milano nail spa ! very professional and nice and does great work ! also a much nicer salon which is actually big enough to hold its customers :) read more
