I want to preface this by stating that just because my nails did not come out the way I wanted them to, I was still appreciative of the great customer service. When I arrived I was sat immediately. Being that this was midday on a Wednesday it wasn't full at all. I saw this location had lots of great reviews so I decided to come. After years of not getting my nails done, here I am. The tech asked if I had any inspo pics and I showed her exactly what I wanted. I asked her if she could do it and she said absolutely. While she got the idea...she did not execute! She was very nice and so was the other staff but my nails are not the way I thought they'd be. Even the shape on a couple of them are not good. While I don't expect perfection, I needed them to be better than they are. Also, why are they point up?! To be clear, during the process I kept saying "I'm not sure about that." "Is it supposed to look like that." And she kept telling me to wait for the finished product. I am so disappointed. I wish I could get them removed. read more

I normally get a pedicure here and usually love it. I would've loved to have my nails done, but I was turned away. I came in 40 minutes before closing, which has never been an issue. In a room full of people getting serviced I was told they are "closed early". If you want out of your business and leaving home by five perhaps change the hours. The customer service here is amazing, but after paying $140 for a manicure and a pedicure and having only my pedicure look nice, makes me sad. I wanted this to be my new place as this was my first time here. I called and asked to set up an appointment and was told to come in at 11, today. My pedicure looks great, but the woman doing my manicure had a regular client come while she was finishing my second hand. I assumed she was a regular client because my manicurist called her by name and said she would be with her as soon as she was done with me and I am assuming she started rushing to finish my full set. My nails look terrible and had I not had an appointment set at a dealership afterwards, I would have stayed for someone to fix my nails. I would like to be refunded for my manicure. I desperately needed to get my nails done and I did a quick Google map search and stumbled across Simply Divine. The nail tech took his time removing my shellac nail polish and was very gentle. He didn't use the quick foil technique and instead used the nail drill (unsure of the name) to safely remove my shellac. He also recommended me a nice pink polish in which I ended up loving! He wasn't intrusive and didn't ask too many personal questions and wasn't too talkative either but we had good conversation! He was explaining how many years he's been doing nails for and I trusted his expertise and skills. I will definitely be coming back! read more

The people are SO NICE! My review is for my toes only. There is a hair in my big toe that was cured into my shellac polish and it's very obvious. Simply divine is sooooo superb in what they do. Their attention to detail, customer service, and variety of options makes me want to spend more money here...lol. I always get their dip manicure and it lasts so long. I've gotten it to even last a month and a half! I love how they file my nails into a lovely square shape and I asked my manicurist to file more into a square shape and she delivered immediately! The color and top coat is so well applied- not too thick or thin and the shine is *divine* ;) I don't do my nails often due to work but my dip manicures from here truly last and I also would come back again even with the difficulties my job gives me. Came here for the first time with my sister on a Friday afternoon. I have to say I woukd give my sister's nail technician 4stars, but my female older technician was 3stars and here's why: 3 star experience: appt started 30min late, technician only dipped 2 times in color and didn't ask if I was satisfied even once (when the shade is very light, tech would typically be recommended for light shades to do 3 times to get a good opaque color then buff down). She then filed the my already short nails down wayyy more (in spirit of getting the shape perfect she went more and more short). And she tugged at my cuticles and file both pretty rough which was painful and didn't ask once if I was ok. 4 star experience: my sister's tech was great. He asked questions, he mentioned he would suggest 3 coats vs 3 for her and why because color is thick and her fingers are thin, then buffed down, kept asking if okay along the way, he asked if she was satisfied and if not no problem he would fix it. This is service with attention and I wish all the techs worked this way ! Overall probably won't come back here unless we can both get the samenkind, attention oriented tech, but this place has potential :) read more

It is mostly 80s music in the background, with no screens on; it's a relaxing atmosphere. It's in the Sugar Land Medical Center, so it's very convenient for me. For nails, I only see Nam. Sloppy work and unsanitary tools. My sister and I booked two gel manicures and classic pedicures. The services were done at the same time. During the nail buffing, my nail tech buffed too hard and cut the skin on my ring finger which caused bleeding. The tools were clearly not sanitized properly either because my sister got bacterial infections on two fingers and two toes. Both our mermaid gel nails also have horizontal cracks in them within a week of the service. The woman at the front desk did not know how to use the register system properly and was checking out customers very slowly even as a line formed. Worst of all, when we called to get a refund on our voluntarily given tip, we were denied the refund because the front desk employee had undercharged us with the new customer discount. Regardless of their own clerical mistakes, the tip should be refunded for poor and unsafe practices, and their employees should be trained properly to prevent loss for the salon. It's not on the customers to cover those errors. (I should add that we offered to pay separately since we weren't sure if the 20% new customer Yelp discount had to be marked per person (we were both new customers and have our own Yelp accounts). But the front desk receptionist offered herself to ring us up and check us out as one check and she applied the discounts incorrectly.) read more

Kim is firm, but gentle, and takes the time to do your nails how you want them. Simply Divine is my go to and the best nail salon here. I've been getting gel manicures monthly for 7+ years and Simply Divine is one of the best salons I've ever gone to! I never have to worry about my nails coming out poorly or chipping because I know everyone will take good care of them here. Andrew always does my manis and he takes such care to prep my nails (which is why I think my nails are so healthy and manicures can last 5+ weeks without chipping!)
