Got my nails done here 4x. Each time I got a "greenie" it's bacteria under the nail that is dark and you have to grow it out. There was NO lifting and there was no moisture inside the nails. I believe it's their brushes/ product that has a bacteria on it. Gross salon too. read more

One of the worst manicure experiences of my life. I walked in one rainy Saturday afternoon after seeing the pretty shop many times on Moody Street. I asked for a classic manicure with clear nail polish. I brought my own polish products. I got the young guy (who, apparently, many people here have had the displeasure of dealing with). During the cuticle trim, he cut me causing a bleed. He also was entirely too heavy handed with sanding my nails because it left deep depressions along the nail base that were very visible when the nails grew. Not a clean salon. The manicurist used a sanding block that wasn't new and had clearly been used on someone else. I also didn't see the other nail tools pulled from a sterilized pack, so I don't know if they even bothered to sanitize them between clients. This place should be investigated for this, honestly. Avoid this nail salon. read more

Pedicure was a total of 30 minutes. That icluded sitting with my feet in the water for over 5. Minimal/weak massage.

I went to T & T nails for the first time in September 2024. I wanted to get acrylic nails and the service was great. At first I was a little anxious when a few of my nails were put on crooked, and I wasn't satisfied with how my nails looked. That's when Cookie took over and fixed them with no problem, without having to take them off and redo them. Cookie is amazing and makes sure to ask you if you like the nails and if they meet your expectations as she works her magic. If there is something you don't like about your nails, she happily fixes them right away. The nail techs at T & T are very talented and very professional. Every time I leave the salon, I leave very happy and more than satisfied. Not only do they do nails, but they do eyebrows and lashes as well. I 100% recommend, this is my favorite nail place by far in Massachusetts. Walking into the salon I have a clear picture of what I want, but end up doing something completely different, and creating something beautiful and new that I've never thought of, including some aspects of the idea i previously had in mind. Collaborating and sharing ideas with Cookie is a wonderful experience and I am always pleased with the results of her masterpiece. The best advice I can give you is to go check them out. Holy moly. I regret trying other nail salons. I'm so grateful that this place is still here!! With the holidays around, I had to get the nails on fleek! I feel terrible for these nail techs. When I asked if they made house calls, they graciously explained why they couldn't and why they could, and I can see why it would hurt the business. The employees are so loyal to the owner here, so it really shows that management is still doing their best to keep up with the ever-changing situation. Great job everyone! First off, they made me feel very safe with their Covid precautions. They take your temp and hand sanitize outside, then you wash your hands at the hands free sink once inside. Plastic dividers are everywhere. I noticed everything was single use and areas were sanitized regularly. For my nails, I got a dip manicure and pedicure done by Kelly. They look great! I have also had my eyebrows done there as well, which came out great. The place is beautiful inside, very clean, open, and bright. Everyone was very friendly. Stay away from this nail salon!!! I came here on a whim when my regular salon was closed and showed the lady a reference picture of what I wanted. It ended up nowhere close to what I showed her, and trying to correct her various times got me nowhere. She also kept burning my nails with the buffing drill; getting your nails done should never hurt, and it shows that she was damaging my nails!! Such a painful, unrelaxing experience. Regardless, I thought they looked fine until the next morning when I noticed how warped and uneven they were. I honestly think I could have done a better job myself. When I went to my regular nail tech to get it fixed, she gasped in horror at how horrible my nails looked and also how damaged they were. Do not come here for the sake of your nails!! read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would!! I Had a 12 pm appointment, they had me pick my color, and sat me in the pedicure chair. The water got cold, and my feet turned into prunes, and no one came to start my feet. A women came 15 minutes after I did and they took her before me. At 1pm (a whole hour after my appointment start time) I decided I'd put myself through enough torture and embarrassment and leave. I honestly cant believe these people are in business with that kind of customer service. Do not, I repeat do not go to this place. Don't waste your time, money, energy, or joy on this place. I wanted a pedicure, and I decided to go with T&T Nails. I was meeting my fiance afterwards and wanted to go to the library, and so it seemed like the ideal location. I walked in, and waited about 10 minutes. Then I got seated. Pedicure was good, but felt extremely rushed at the same time. It's also $25, and didn't get what I was expecting from a pedicure. Granted the place was a little busy for a Wednesday afternoon - for $25, I thought that it was a bit much. I think everything north of the Mass Pike gets jacked up by a few dollars anyway.... Before polishing my nails, the woman put a scorching hot towel on my legs. This I was not expecting at all. Usually it's hot water and bath salts at other salons that I've gotten accustomed to in the past. Nonetheless, it was refreshing to get my nails done. I don't think I'll be coming back here anyway... Pretty disappointed in my nails. Nail technician did not seem happy to see me when I walked in even though I had made an appointment for a Gel Mani/Pedi. She also was on the phone the entire time she was removing my polish, after filing my nails I was passed off to the other technician to have them finished. I was charged extra for removal of my current gel which I've never had a place do before when getting a gel manicure. Service was quick ( I came in at 5:40 and was out the door an hour later) and I don't feel like they took the time to properly apply the polish. As soon as I was literally escorted out, the door was locked behind me. They say they are open till 7 but I think they were hoping to leave at 6. 5 days later and not only is it chipped but it's sloppy, lumpy, doesn't go to the edge, and you can see the uneven top coat application sitting on top of the color. Not worth 85 dollars and a 20% tip. Only giving 2 stars due to wide color selection and the fact that it appeared clean. read more

I should have taken the previous low reviews more seriously, but figured their management dynamic would be a bit different due to post-COVID (booking only one session, so only focusing on one customer at a time, etc.) but I was wrong. $35 and one very stressful experience later, I have a cute gel manicure but an inflamed (and potentially infected) fingernail. They made me feel bad the entire time for not also booking a pedicure, which I never signed up for when I booked the original appointment the night before (I hate people touching my feet). The nail technician didn't wear gloves (if MA is requiring massage therapists to work in gloves, anyone touching my hands should be required to as well) and also made me feel uncomfortable by commenting on how thin my skin was the entire time, like it was my fault that I bled from the buffing drill. read more

It does rock, but it has a few problems:just know that it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, they kinda just do first come first serve, so you'll get pushed back. The worst....if you grew up in Waltham, everyone and their mother is either here or walks by. This place is nothing like I expected, it had tons of tables, but did not feel crowded at all. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and did a fantastic job. The best part was that they weren't too goopy; Last time I had my nails done they smudged hours later, but these dried nicely! I would totally go back here. A regular manicure was $12. I was taken well before my scheduled time (yes!), but I felt that it was necessary to take the following notes: Pro's: *A good selection of OPI colors. *Place is clean and organized. *Employee's are generally friendly. *Fast service. Con's: *Hand massage was more like a brief hand rub. *French Manicure made my fingers looks like stubs (yes, I had short nails, but the white bit of the nail came halfway UP my nail!) - I prefer a smaller bit of white on the nail. *Person doing my nails answered her cell in the middle of my manicure!!! (what?!) *Nails looked uneven; nail polish began to chip one day later. I felt like a number at this place, not a customer. As soon as I was shooed to the nail-drying station it was like I never existed; no wonder I was made to pay halfway through my manicure. I went to T&T today to get a French manicure. At about 3:30 the place was empty except one lady getting acrylics. Kayla did my nails and did a beautiful job. When I messed up one of my nails, she happily redid it without making me feel bad. The place is clean and quiet with comfy chairs. One star off for price. $17 for a French is expensive. Their regular manicure is only $12 though. Oh and the white used was Orly. If I'm paying $17 for a manicure I don't want the nail polish to be from CVS. (the pink was Essie which is fine). With a $4 tip it came to $21. Hopefully it is long lasting! I would definitely go back to T&T and would only go elsewhere for a cheaper price. read more
