This place is THE WORST, MOST unprofessional. I went in on Monday June 25th, 2018 to get gel nail polish, they up-sold me to get what they called the new and amazing dipping powder, and said it would only be $35 and it would be better for my nails as it is stronger and lasts longer than gel. Lee (the owner/manager) assured me she would do it herself I go for the dipping powder. Summary: -She used acrylic powder not dipping powder - -Filed my natural nails down so much it hurt and felt hot & PAINFUL -Charged me more than she said it cost (not 35 but -$55) -After 2 days the nails lifted and came off -I came back for her to fix it and she made me wait 45 minutes before putting basically superglue on as a fix -Did not sanitize hands before fixing my nails, -Didn't apologize waved me off and said come back in 2 weeks for a fill - and then said something long in her own language Overall terrible experience, my nails still hurt, they look so gross because of the glue bubbles, the salon smells like chemicals, they speak very little english, and I paid for a service that I didnt get, and for a product that I didnt get. The other place I had been going to for a couple of months was closed the day I really needed to get a fill-in for my acrylic nails so I walked a little down the street and there was Le's salon open for business. First of all Le (the owner) is the sweetest and most professional nail technician/business owner I've met!!! Needless to say her work is always beautiful! She loves to make your visit comfortable and it's always a pleasure to see her and the rest of the girls, they're all so nice. They are also very good at their job as well, I've had about 3 or 4 different people do my nails there and all of them have done an excellent job. They have no problem doing a design in particular or shaping your nails how you want them. Plus they are open on Sundays and have absolutely no problem staying a bit after hours to get your nails done the right way (her family probably hates me because I always make her stay later, sorry!!!) Wondering about pedicures? To sum it up they are very pleasant and long-lasting, (I've gone about 3 weeks with no nail polish chipping!). There's a $5 charge to get a design on your toes but it's so worth it, your feet will look beautiful. I brought my own polish(put it in neutral by OPI) as I wasn't sure what choices they would have for gel. Very happy with the outcome! I've been going to Le for my nails consistently for the past year and she never disappoints! I give the salon a call and she's always able to fit me in. The best part is when I walk in she is able to take me right away and not have me wait. I get the dip powder and she does an excellent job that always lasts me up to 4 weeks. Im always getting compliments on my nails cause they look so good and she has the best colors! I needed a last minute appointment before leaving for vacation and called to make an appointment at 6:30 as this was one of the only places that was still open. The lady said I was all set and she didn't even ask my name and I asked if she was sure and she said she was. I really needed to make an appointment since I didn't have time to wait. When I arrived they had a full salon. So of course I was made to wait. The nail salon is really not well kept at all. It is dirty. The chairs are falling apart and i honestly would have left had I not needed an appointment so badly. I was supposed to get a mani pedi but just ended up getting a pedicure. I will not be back. So I went here for dip and powder nails because a friend recommended me to go here, the staff is SUPER nice but to be honest this nail job was not worth my money. I lost two nails within a week when its suppose to last for a month, the nails cracked and also I realized that they are unsanitary because you are not supposed to directly dip someones nail into the container at a nail salon. Came here for a pedicure, and the first thing I noticed was the strong smell of an "alcohol-like" substance. It was so strong that I had to request for a mask to cover my nose and mouth :( Despite the unpleasant ambiance, the pedicure itself was fine. It was until I had to wait for 45 minutes to get my toes dried out, and asked them to check on my toes (instead of them checking on me periodically). I'm sitting here drying, looking at these reviews baffled at why they're positive. I was stuck and my usual lady was busy. So here I am thankful to yelp. First impression is that it's absolutely filthy. Second the polishes are all over the place- and old, stuck and loaded with thinner. I tried a bunch of them. The first thing the woman about to do my nails (hands) said was, "You couldn't see the person who does your nails?" Why....I have NO CLUE! I've never been to this place before. There were ppl jammed at the front of the shop that had appts..... waiting. There is a prom tomorrow and I'm sure that's why they're so busy. I had a polish change on my toes and my hands, plus one acrylic nail fixed. The woman called me over, another woman got up and a employee snapped at her , "No not you, not you sit down".The phone rings and the woman answering tells the customers not to be late. They keep telling customers, "Yes I can take you can you wait?" They'll probably wait a while.....but don't be late. She rushed my toes, a woman I couldn't communicate with. Then someone who speaks English did my nails. Then I was waiting for the acrylic to dry on one nail, she had a girl pull up a chair beside the table and started her! Then she waited while she did mine. It's crazy. The new nail was rushed so much it was crooked and she was telling me it wasn't. I asked for a polish by name, she said they have to many she can't tell me if they have it , I'd have to go by a swatch on a plastic nail with no name. I couldn't look for it she said. Seriously? That's why polishes have names, so ppl remember what they like. The other employees walk around and take nail drill bits, files, things that are supposed to be sanitized and they share them. They are putting ppl in pedicure chairs for manicures and pulling up chairs. I haven't seen one thing cleaned since I've been here. I'm drying and can't wait to leave. read more

I would say they need a little bit of polishing.. Salon appearance: not very nice, and not particularly clean I went in for a full set of acrylics, and while I think my nails look and feel nice, there are a few key things they forgot to do while applying my nails. (That I've never not had) -Did not use the dremel under my nail at all, so the tip of my real nails aren't perfectly merged with the tips they put on. This could lead to something getting between the real nail and the tip. -did not use any lotion- my hands felt kind of cold and dry after I left -no cuticle oil, and no prep work on my cuticles at all Kim was very nice, and I like the shape of my nails, but I really feel like it was lacking when I compare it to other manicures I've had. read more

However there was a little huffing and puffing when I asked my nail lady to find me a color that matched a photo I showed her and she brought back colors that didn't match, which lowered my experience of the customer service. Most disappointed acrylic full set experience I've ever had.... Been here multiple times it was always good and I loved their service, everyone was nice and they usually did me nails the way I like them. HOWEVER.... Today was a bit different, I made an appointment as usual and went to get my full set done, but this time I got at least five cuts on my cuticles, three dents on my nails (separate nails), three corked nails, and she pushed and filed the sides on my nails so hard that she was filing the side of my nail bed instead of my nail. The tools she was using were also used on the person before me so it was clearly not cleaned after as you could tell from all the filing that she has done with it the drill is covered with acrylic that she was filing. She also made some of my nails really thick while others paper thin. Like really? How unprofessional do you have to be? After I went home I realized there was a thin layer of acrylic on my cuticles, and that was what made my nail sting the whole time. And now I'm just sitting here trying to get off the acrylic on my cuticles without hurting the wounds she made (which is impossible). And it hurts when I push down on my nails be because how hard she filed on the side on my nails. Probably won't be back there again considering everything that happened to my nails and how while she was doing my nails, she was looking at her phone from time to time WHILE FILING MY NAIL. I really enjoy getting manicures and pedicures here. I have been faithfully coming in every two weeks for about 6 months-ask for Deana. She is amazing and pay close attention to detail. They were the only place I would ever go, Until one of the nail techs messed up and sliced my finger, she was rushing causing the filing tool they use for acrylic to slip and cut me. I must say that I was quite disappointed with my last mani/pedi I got here. Polish looked a little messy, the cuticles on my toes (as well as my toenails) could have been trimmed more (didn't realize that until I was in the car and on my way) and the next day, the polish was already coming off and it wasn't like I was cleaning and doing dishes that day. I don't know if this girl was new...don't know her name and she spoke very limited English which drives me out of my freaking mind. Absolutely love the community at Le's!!! She has a TON of regular clients like myself which to me shows how great the quality of work is. I started out getting gel and the price is so good compared to salons in Boston. I can get a mani pedi for as much as a basic hair cut, an absolute steal. The women who work there are also amazing, kind, gentle and precise as hell, well trained. I started getting dip because Le recommended it to me - she knows me and knows I always chip or peel my gel polish and harm my nails. So I tried dip and it was quick, simple, and ROCK SOLID. I felt like I had gladiator shields for nails. Love it. Lasts so long and only $5 more than gel. It doesn't require grinding your nail bed down like gel so it's protective AND healthy for your nails! I soaked my fingers in acetone and the dip came off better than gel did!!! It was like magic. I love dip and highly recommend you try it out at Le's. I won't do gel on my finger nails ever again. read more

Will not be going back. I went for a manicure and pedicure and the woman kept DIGGING to get my ingrown out. As my toe kept getting more and more swollen and red I pulled back SEVERAL TIMES and said "no, it hurts too much." She grabbed my foot, every single time and said, "little bit, little bit" continuing to dig harder until of course I was sweating and sinking into my chair as my toe began to bleed. Finally I think she got the hint when I was just a bit rude when telling her to stop because the pain was unbearable - and I think I would say I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. I ended up getting an infection on that toe :( Disappointing to not be able to understand a client's requests - to say the least. read more

My first stop after getting my nails done was wallgreens for acetone. On a quality level the color was not consistent over my nails. I also got a cut. On a sanitary level it was even worse. Nail salons should clean their tools after each use, and to me it did not look like this place did. The towel they used had a stain and the tools were taken out of and placed back into one drawer without any sign on them being cleaned. Without proper sanitary measure you run the risk of fungus and bacterial problem. Even though it it cheap It is by no means worth that risk! Would not recommend! Will not go back! read more
