My boyfriend and I always get the teriyaki chicken and curry chicken (two of the best things on the menu imo) the curry chicken has super yummy potatoes mixed in. The rice is always cooked perfectly and the macaroni salad is good but nothing crazy. I've had the Katsu chicken on my first order but I wasn't very impressed, my boyfriend said it was his favorite. We got 2 one entree one with short ribs and the other teriyaki chicken, crispy shrimp, and crab rangoons Everything was good for the price with the exception of the crab rangoons as they were kinda interesting and chewy. For as much as we LOVE Crab rangoons... we just couldn't stomach this one. Sad face... Oh the entree comes with macaroni salad and veggies and it was... okay. Crispy shrimp was crisp crunchy goodness. As far as the space, it was cute and clean. No one was dinning in but it could have been because it was close to closing time. The Korean chicken was very tasty as well, it tastes strongly of gochujang which I love, and it's very hot! The fried rice was also great. I think the item I was least impressed by was the macaroni salad, it just seemed to be lacking a little something. But once I salted it and mixed a little bit of the sauce from the Korean chicken into it, it was also very good. First time coming here and like that they have more asian variety than other Hawaiian BBQ places. Got the family meal with Angry Shrimp, Korean Chicken, and Katsu Chicken and comes with rice and macaroni salad. The Angry Shrimp was very spicy good with the jalapenos but lacks the peppers and onions in their picture. The Korean Chicken was disappointing and looks like Orange Chicken and it too lacks the jalapenos and onions they have in their picture. The Katsu Chicken, rice and macaroni salad is like any other Hawaiian BBQ place. I like the free side when spending $30 or more. Suggest they add veggies to their family meal as Ono does.
