I've lived in the area for 5 years and just went here for the first time.....wow. The best BBQ!! I tried the spare ribs and jalapeño cheddar sausage. SO good! The ribs were tender and juicy and the sausage was perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese was a little underwhelming, needed some more flavor. The French fries were delicious! Love the house bbq sauce but the spicy was way too spicy for me. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and he was sweatin'. Service was quick considering the lunch rush and everyone behind the counter was nice! I like the picnic table set up in the dining room.

Here I am in Arizona eating at a really great bbq place, who would have thought! I love places like this! Order your food at the counter, pay, have a seat and eat. My kind of place! The place had all kinds of pictures and licenses plates on the wall. It made the place unique! I ordered smoked brisket, pastrami, beef sausage and onion rings. Food was on point!!! Overall great spot! I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this place!

Had a little outing on the west side. Super tender and flavorful meats! Everyone's favorite were the pulled pork, it was ridiculously juicy! The chicken and beef brisket were super good also. We were given pastrami to try and it was super nice of the owner/worker. Never tried and must say it is super delicious as well. The potato salad, pickled vegetables,& bread with the sauce are all hits!

We stopped in this weekend after a hot day in the sun. It was pretty unassuming from the outside. It smelled amazing and when I thought I wasn't that hungry at first, it totally changed my mind. They had plenty of options, but I chose their turkey and a side of coleslaw. We also ordered a pastrami sandwich, a side of pickles and one of their beers on draft. I wish I could remember the name because it was pretty good. I don't typically like regular beer, but this had a good flavor. service was great. We had our food quickly and found one of the last tables available inside. there are also tables outside if you'd like to sit out there the food was really good. The coleslaw was amazing not super acidic but great flavor. Turkey was moist and the thick slice had a pretty full fast. The pastrami sandwich was also a hit prices are fair we'd come back again.

Cole slaw, turkey, brisket, beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese. Everything delicious!!

Omg! We pulled up 5 minutes before they opened and there was already a line forming and a bunch of people waiting in their cars. Thats a good sign! Line moved very quickly, there were four of us, we shared brisket, turkey, coleslaw, potato salad, and Mac and cheese. The meats were both juicy and flavorful, great spice crust, especially on the brisket. I always judge a bbq place by the sides, and we found an absolute winner here!! I'm not a coleslaw fan, but the others reported it was good. The beans were meaty and delicious. The potato salad was simple but good, very mustardy, which to me is a plus, but that Mac and Cheese!! Absolutely to DIE FOR!! I will be dreaming about that Mac and cheese. I'm actually eating the leftovers as I write this, and I'm going to be so sad when it is gone! Two thumbs up to whoever created the 80s/90s playlist too! I was a fan!

$62 bucks and worth it, well minus the onion rings.

Accidently found this place on Saturday. It was late afternoon, neither of us had eaten and we smelled Eric's smoked meats before we saw the place. I'm picky on my BBQ, and Eric's BBQ is delicious. We shared sides, potato salad was yummy, onion rings were not good, theMac n cheese was delicious. I got the brisket sandwich and hubs got the pulled pork. Brisket was amazing Smokey flavor, moist, and they load yup that sandwich. I tried my hubby's pulled pork sandwich, the meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of any of the bbq sauces. They were out of some meats and drinks, but they're so busy is course they are going to run out. I was torn between giving them a 5 or 4, only because the onion rings were not good, the bbq sauces were just OK and they were out of a few things by 2pm on Saturday.

Excellent BBQ. We had the brisket, pulled pork and prime rib. The brisket was well cooked, tender, moist, a wonderful smoke flavor. The pulled pork was my favorite and, again, was very moist and full of a deep Smokey flavor. The pitmaster clearly knows how to produce wonderful meats. The prime rib was fine but I likely will not be reordering it. In terms of sides, all were excellent....the Mac and cheese is some of the best I e ever had in a restaurant and both the cole slaw and potato salad were great excellent, traditional versions. We also had the pecan pie and will definitely do that again. All in all a great experience. You should give them a try!

Cool bbq spot! Came here for a friend's birthday and the place was packed! Food was top tier which made the wait worth it. The line was long when we got there but the staff is very efficient and kept the line moving! All the meat we tried everything was super tasty, juicy and well seasoned. Worth the prices you're paying, be sure to try a little bit of everything! My favorite sides were the Mac and the elote corn soo good. Coleslaw is always a must to cut all the meat you're eating. Lots of drink options alcoholic and non. Be sure to get there early to find parking and get in line to order! There's a few arcade games inside and two bathrooms. Staff was nice and friendly(: would come here again!!!

The bill for all that good food. Took the leftovers home.

Our Friday Night Dinner Highlight We made the drive to check out the BBQ hype. It hit the spot! That Prime Rib sandwich and Mac & Cheese I couldn't get enough of Before we left I had to try the Taco Dorado and Oh My BBQ! Don't skip out on that taco. Great customer service with fast paced line service as well. The wall has the menu to view as your waiting. Decide and be respectful of the line. Plenty of seating inside and out.

I live on the east side of town, but I will have to admit that this place is definitely one of my top spots on the west side of town for some BBQ and I have plans to order brisket from them in the future along with the pastrami!!! The brisket & pastrami were on point!!! I honestly told myself, I'm not doing the 7-10 day brine, smoke, etc... for my pastrami! I'm just gonna say to Eric's BBQ, "take my money". Yeah... since then, I had my cousin place an order (as he leaves not to far) for a family gathering we had and it resonated once again with all my visitis. Inside is simple and spaced out well. The good thing, the line is inside the building so come the summer heat, it shouldn't be so bad. I'm all about that brisket when I come. The Ribs are great as well. The mac & cheese I believe was with jalapeños and a pleasant surprise. They have their own bbq sauces if needed. My eyes were doing so much, I decided to get some catfish to go!! Another hit! Looking forward to another return ASAP!

Always a tasty place. Arrived too late for their Mac and cheese for the day. Turkey was juicy and tender.

This bbq spot was absolutely amazing! It's a must visit when ur on the west side of the valley! The beef brisket was absolutely amazing! It was soo juicy and packed with flavor! The chicken was also good, and extremely tender. My favorite was the pulled pork! The inside is really big with plenty of seating, and all entire place was nice and clean. The staff were amazing and they gave us great recommendations and make sure to ask for samples if ur unsure on what to get!

    Nina W.

Found this place on Yelp and was an amazing lunch! The brisket is super tender, no need to drench in sauce. My husband got the pastrami sandwich and he demolished it. The sides are $6 each and they fill the container. The Mac and cheese was amazing but the elote was bomb! Lots of parking, outdoor patio, reasonable prices and no wait. Highly recommend!

Potato salad, coleslaw, pickles, onions, jalapeños and the best brisket sandwich you'll ever eat.

The host stand felt cold and unwelcoming, and the overall energy outside was a little off-putting. To be fair, the hostess was polite when she interacted with us directly, but the first impression was not warm. Once we were seated, Miguel turned the whole experience around. Since we are vegetarian, we have to ask extra questions about sauces, stocks, and hidden meat ingredients. Miguel was extremely helpful with navigating the menu and made sure the items with meat stock were removed or avoided. That kind of care matters a lot. The food was also pretty good. I had the South of the Border Omelette, and my wife had the burrito. Both were solid, and Miguel's service made us feel taken care of instead of like we were being difficult for asking questions. Good food, excellent service from Miguel, and a much better experience once we got past the initial welcome.

Being a resident I drop in here about every five years and while consistent in their offerings, it also consistently "meh". We brought our pup and the service from Miguel was attentive and helpful even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. The location and ambiance is quiet and intimate (I suggest sitting outside when it's nice) and is much bugger than it looks. Coffee taste like Folgers and while each plate has a lot of ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of taste. We ordered the Lady Litchfield Omelette and breakfast burrito and while generous in portion the irony of the dishes was interesting. The omelette was chock full of veggies and minimal egg to wrap them, the burrito had a ton of egg and tortilla but minimal ingredients to taste. At the End of the Day I just don't feel like the experience warranted the $16+ price tag per meal. I'll come back in five more years and see if anything has changed.

We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

Even after joining the waitlist, you still have to check in with the hostess upon arrival, and there may still be an additional wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20-minute wait for a table, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar, but honestly, we wish we had waited for a table because the bar area felt a bit tight. The bartenders were very nice, but at times it seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed, as we had to wave them down a few times for assistance. One highlight was the live DJ--the music selection was great and really added to the overall atmosphere. For food, we ordered the Basic AF and the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food temperature was disappointing. The waffles were cold, and most of the Basic AF dish was cold as well, except for the eggs. The only item that was warm on my plate was the chicken. This is definitely something that should be improved--breakfast dishes should be served hot and fresh. For drinks, we ordered a Bloody Mary and wanted to add a mini Miller High Life, but they were out of stock, which was disappointing. Instead, we opted for a Corona, which felt overpriced at $7 for a single bottle--especially when it's being used as an add-on. A lower price point would feel more reasonable in that situation. On a positive note, I also ordered the Boozy Bag drink with a watermelon slice, and it was absolutely delicious--definitely a highlight of the visit. The restaurant does offer a good amount of outdoor seating with shade coverings, which is great for avoiding the sun. Inside, especially near the bar, you can hear the music much better, but it's still audible outside depending on where you sit. Our total bill for two came to about $70, so it's something to plan for in terms of pricing. One additional suggestion: we did notice bartenders and staff handling drink garnishes--such as fruit and decorative items like cotton candy--with their bare hands. For hygiene and cleanliness purposes, it would be highly recommended for staff to use gloves or some type of protective covering when preparing drinks, especially since these items go directly into customer beverages. Overall, we enjoy the vibe and energy here, but consistency with food temperature and attentiveness during busy times would really improve the experience. Also, it looks like they offer a rewards program that requires linking a credit card--we're not fully sure how it works, but it might be worth asking about for future visits.

We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl.
