I LOOOOVE Ricemill and am so glad they added another location here in Glendale at the Arrowhead Towne Center food court. I always do the build your own bowl, but they also offer signature bowls you can choose from. The people working were really nice and friendly. Lots of seating was available in the food court. I ordered a build your own bowl with tofu and salmon. They discontinued the pumpkin topping but are supposed to be getting a few new toppings. I took my food to go and it was amazing!!! So flavorful and yummy. This location is also doing a deal with Orange Theory Fitness, where once you purchase 5 bowls you get one free class at OTF! Update: in a means to be cheaper is what I suspect they changed a lot of stuff that used to be on the menu or combined items or completely swapped items out and now it makes it taste way different definitely not the same. It's really not worth driving so far to have anymore. It doesn't taste that good anymore. Honestly, they ruined it. I don't know why they would. read more

Service is always friendly and they are very fast. I've been here a few times now. The drinks look great but I haven't tried them yet. The dessert-cheesecake, I've tried both. They come in cute little containers you can reuse. matcha cloud and zesty lime are the options. I love matcha but the matcha cheesecake was just okay for me. It definitely has more of the "grassy" notes of matcha. It was good, but not like, omg I'm craving this, I need this asap. Maybe if they did matcha + another flavor, like yuzu or mango or white chocolate. The zesty lime was my favorite of the 2. It has a little bit of lime jelly at the top. The flavors were bright and I liked the different textures. As far as the bowls go, I've tried a few but my favorite is the Yuzu shrimp. Super good. You get a generous portion of shrimp with eggplant, corn, edamame, mashed pumpkin, with a yuzu miso sauce. It comes with white rice but you can choose other options for a base, like brown rice or rice noodles. The shrimp is cooked well, not overcooked and rubbery. The rice is fluffy and the mashed pumpkin is a great addition to this dish. Love the combination of all the flavors. 9/10 Kiddo likes the Seoul garlic chicken. She's kinda picky. However, if you do have picky eaters, they do have the "build your own bowl" which is always a nice option. To me the Szechuan mala steak and Shanghai style steak were a little similar. The toppings are different, but one is spicy (the mala) and one is not. I didn't find it spicy, but I could see that someone less acquainted with spicy foods might think it is. I think both come with sautéed mushrooms and zucchini and cauliflower. Yasss. It's around $16/bowl after tax, but since it's 2 meals for me, that makes it about $8 each. Girl math. Lolll. Would I come here again? Obvi, already have. Don't skip this place, it's a nice hearty portion of food for those with big appetites. This is an Asian bowl type place where you can choose between premade bowls or building your own bowl. So the base consists of either white rice, brown rice, rice noodles, or mixed greens. The proteins are roast chicken, curry chicken, crispy chicken, tofu, steak, and shrimp. Then you can add (up to 3) of the hot toppings from spicy mashed potato, mushroom, zucchini, sweet & sour eggplant, and cabbage. Then you can choose as many cold toppings as you want from: corn, edamame, K-house pickles, purple cabbage, and carrots. Then you can select 2 from 5 of their signature sauces. I decided to go with a half and half steak and shrimp bowl. I tried out their honey chili aioli and signature Szechuan mala sauce. Oddly enough, the Szechuan mala sauce did not taste good but I've had it at their other location where it was spicy and flavorful; I wonder if they changed the formula as it tastes much worse these days. I wanted to try out their cheese cake but they ran out which sucks. I tried out the shrimp crisps instead and it's a bit pricey, but they make it fresh and hot and it consists of two large shrimp crisp pieces; these are reminiscent of those Shrimp Snacks brand of chips. The overall meal was average; so much so that I decided to not even finish my meal because I got tired of the flavor. When it comes to the ingredients, these are items that are just lying out in the counter all day. I think due to that, it makes it so that the bowl itself doesn't exactly taste nice and fresh, but a slightly stale. read more

I was looking forward to visiting this new location and I'm very happy that I was able to. If I had to describe this concept for someone who isn't familiar, I would say it's like an Asian Chipotle. You can create your own bowl or choose an already prepared one from the menu. I opted to create my own bowl this time. The person who prepared this for me seemed to try to rush me through the line. I was making my selections for the veggies and topping at each station and she tried to skip over all of this to get straight to the end at the register. I was not dilly-dallying or doing anything that would warrant someone to rush me so that was a little annoying. In any event, I was satisfied with my order from this visit. I will have to ding them on the popcorn chicken - some of it was overcooked and tough. I am looking forward to trying out more things and will be back! read more

I always come here whenever I go to the mall. I really enjoy the Seoul garlic chicken bowl. The portion size is large too I usually have leftovers or share with my son. They have a variety of unique toppings (the fried eggplant and pickles are the best). read more

Really enjoyed this hike in the wall in the food court. Loved the options for customization. I went with the rice noodle base and curry chicken. Added some hot and cold veggies, and a spicy sauce to finish. Sometimes 'spicy' sauces can be underwhelming, but between the curry chicken and the sauce there was a good amount of heat.
